  1. Yep I second Harry's Lap timer. I couple it with a wifi Kiwi PLX ODB2 dongle and a Duel xgps 160
  2. Jap speed I think Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  3. Ive had silenced decats on my SC 370z and they are louder than HFC's but not stupidly.
  4. If you crossed the roundabout and drove past the hp building there is another 370z there Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  5. I will try the android app initially and see what it says. I removed the HFC as they just get burnt out and fitted Decats with silences to reduce the noise. Abingdon airfield have quite a few track days so I may just pop over.
  6. The ZED is now supercharged and booked in for coilovers, sway bars and a Diff. I plan to do a few track days soon and although I have decats with a silencer the zorst is still quite loud. So does anyone have access to a noise meter so I can get an accurate reading. I know you can get phone apps but there just not accurate.
  7. ^^^^ If they have so little respect for the car the I wouldn't be using them. I just use a none bio weak solution on my suede bits. Comes up a treat.
  8. Ooo.i thought you meant 'the' red chilli Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  9. I got one of these, but I haven't been bothered to lift the bonnet to fit yet. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  10. Only ever really experienced this once. Trackday at nürburgring last leg of the journey, M20 and tired as I'd driven straight from track. It was dark and I noticed a car downshift to my right, revved the engine to get my attention. I was not interested however it didn't stop him downshifting again, which was a mistake as the next thing I heard was a bang and lots of smoke. I watched him through my rear view mirror pulling onto the hard shoulder. Laughed all the way home Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  11. All above really. I always do a cooldown lap and NEVER have the handbrake engaged when parked or waiting. I always leave the car in gear.
  12. if it does the same when turning left it could be an indicator
  13. Nothing is cheap when going FI. Nor should it be, after all you want something reliable that wont go pop and cost lots more. As already stated the cheapest way is to buy the car already SC, this is not the safest as you have no way of knowing the condition, just as buying a second hand SC kit. The best option is to buy the kit first (Adrian has this at a good price) and any upgrades you desire you can include or purchase at a latter date (second hand rads, injectors are less of a risk). The tricky part is the fitting, which you can attempt yourself or use Adrian, Abbey, Horsham, Litchfield, Norris. This is the best but not the cheapest option. As for ROI its pure pleasure as fitting an SC kit to the car will not add the value spent in parts and fitting. My opinion is don't skimp, do it right the first time.
  14. To early for me to have a granite opinion yet, but I feel that we'll never really know the truth. We need facts to make any sort of decision but there will be copious amounts of spin and fear mongering. I don't think its clear cut commercially what the impact will be, short term or long term. Also even if we did vote 'OUT' then its going to take years. I don't thing the current government is strong enough if we vote OUT either, they struggle enough as it is. As for Scottish independence, they chose to stay part of the UK, and they also have the save vote as everyone else to stay in the EU. They knew this was coming and I cant see how they can force another independence vote just because they don't like the results. As for the changes DC has made, none are binding and can just be ripped up if we were to stay in, Its a little like Obama and congress. We can guarantee one thing, lots of money will be spent on campaigns for both sides.
  15. You can get great performance out of the Skoda's. My Fabia VRS was my first car I modded and after ploughing a small fortune I got it to just shy of 300BHP and 400/450nm (cant remember exact nm). It was a rocket, but had the aerodynamics of a brick!
  16. I'll have a set of cobra hfc's for a very reasonable price. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  17. I'm not totally against the idea, but in reality its just shifting the problem to a different area. How the hell is the infrastructure going to charge all of these cars, they power companies bleat on about power usage as it is. What's going to happen when there is a significant increase. More power stations are needed.
  18. I see this issue on track where people have removed the AC to save weight. Their constantly battling with steamy windows. So I never turn off my AC.
  19. Not sure of the VINs but from reading they were changed in the 2012 model
  20. The gaskets are only £48 I'll ask tomorrow when I check progress on the SC. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk Thanks Asked the question which I think you won't like. Cost of the gaskets £48 + roughly 6 hours labour. This is not something you just want to do unless your prepared. Glad I've changed mine though. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

  22. Yeah, no worries. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  23. Thread resurrection time! I've got the Motordyne Art pipes and the Ark Grip system. Perfect sound as in tone: rumble at low end and screaming howl when you wind the wick up. My only problem is as a daily it's just a touch loud. (It's really loud). Thinking about getting an extra silencer or some other strategy to reduce the volume without cocking up the whole gorgeous tone of the system. Getting Jez to fit a silencer in mine whilst he's fitting the SC, as I don't want to be too loud at the track Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
