I have Cobra HFC's (well not for much longer) with the Miltek and I get rasp. It's worse when the car is cold. Doesn't bother me though, guess its a marmite thing.

It's just one of those things. I may have been fine for many more miles, you just don't know. For me regardless it was a good time to do it because of the SC. Not sure I would have bothered if I wasn't having the SC fitted if I was honest.

I can tell you that unless they have been replaced by a previous owner they will not have the new gaskets. I'm having a SC fitted at present and decided to get them done at the same time due to half the work needed to get to them being done as part of the SC install. Mine had started to disintegrate and now awaiting shipment from the US as Nissan cant get them till the end of Feb. Its worth noting that I track my car, a lot and drive it quite hard (once its upto temp) and never experienced any issues with oil pressure. Its just one of those things that can happen regardless of mileage. Rob

This thread makes interesting reading. I'm from the UK and spoke to an independent 370z specialist who said he'd heard of this problem but hadn't actually done anyone's car. Anyway he's fitting my SC so I recon if I'm going to do it best to do it then to save some labour. Car is a 2010 black edition. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
