  1. Axle stands and take your time. Take a picture of the set up before just incase you need to refer back.
  2. Plus also remember the 350z has 45 profile tyres, which all go towards a softer ride compared to the Focus RS. If you happy with the current right height, i would opt for stiffer side walled tyres (when the time comes) and/or swap out the ARB's for uprated ones or at least uprated ARB bushes. David
  3. Ive heard of this before when using non gen oil filters. What level is the oil at? *cold engine
  4. I think you've done the initial resets on a cold engine, hence your high idle and over fuelling issue. Start completely again, step by step on a warm engine. Ie disconnect the battery after the engine has warmed to the correct operating temperature. And follow the x3 resets in order. David
  5. Yes allen key socket with 3/8 ratchet
  6. go for it while you're in a position to do so mate
  7. ello n welkom what were the pros and cons on the porsche? 986 or 987 version? one of my close mates is choosing between one and a 350z. david
  8. fitted by that brummie?! power losses id imagine then LOL
  9. ^ lol even on road as better tyres would promote confidence when pushing on, resulting in a more enjoyable drive which is the whole point.
  10. Saw this on FB, cracking OP loved that civic too. Nice compare to an M3 also, what's next for the 350z?
  11. Ello n welkom The 350z wasnt designed and built to be a 1/4 mile king (that's its big brother the GTR), its a GT car however with decent tyres and driver through the twisty's it'll shift!!
  12. Yesterday for the first time I went over to Cougar Store as my diff bush had started to leak. Very nice meeting you Mitz and Andy, did a sterling job on my beloved 350z. Not only a maintenance repair but an upgrade, as the car drives noticeably smoother coming on and off throttle now with the whiteline diff bush kit. Would without doubt recommend Cougar Store to fellow Zed owners, friends and family. David
  13. I'm after one of these in good working order if anyone has one selling? Previous owners garage when replacing the clutch, must not have fitted it correctly and it's rubbed partly away. David
  14. For the week or so in the year that you have your cats fitted, I wouldn't too much about the mapping. Either that or find a friendly mot station ahead of time and save yourself the job of getting them swapped out.
  15. Cracking motors "Tyres slightly streched" lol
  16. Sorry to hear about your dc5, was it a type r? The 350z are great motors, with lots going for them. The price always reflects history and overall condition. You could buy an average mileage 05 GT for 6k and over the course of 6-12 months cost 1.5k in repairs ie clutch, tyres, battery, brakes and suspension etc. or and spend 7k and not end up spending for the above as its been replaced recently - the joys of used car buying. David
  17. Very flat promoting great visibility, nice safe track with lots of 90' corners.
