  1. The wife was bored of her TT after owning for 2 years, and for the past few months she had her heart set on an SLK. Now that all wedding debts have been paid, we thought it would be nice for her to treat herself. Introducing - SLK 250 CDI Bought from Big Motoring World, who were really good and no issues. 1 owner from new, 23k miles, full MB service history and serviced before collected, MOT till Aug 2017. It's a lovely motor, lush interior, and decent power - 201bhp and whopping 368lb-ft of torque! Took her for a spin and boy do I love that feeling of the torque kicking you in the back when you plant your foot down! 3. Quite like shots taken into the sun....heres one from sunday afternoon at dryslwyn castle with a 3 stop nd grad 1/25th f22 iso64 @35mm Liking that a lot mate! Looks like something out of Lord of the Rings! I guess it's all trial and error. I've learnt not to delete any shots until I get home and look at them on my mac. Have discovered some real gems which I thought were crap originally!
  4. Exactly the effect I was going for

  7. This ^^ Although they're cheaper with the multi car policy, they'll only cover your mods for oem parts. I've been with Sky Insurance now 3 years in a row as they always seem to be the cheapest for me and steadily coming down in price each year, even if it's just £50-100 a year!
  8. Mate you should have come to the Essex meet or contacted me for a meet up! Got the cobra resonated on mine and I love it. Loud enough for the public but with no drone! Yeah I know I shoulda done. Still up for it next weekend or something? Now I can compare the two! Always up for a meet mate! Let me know when you're available and I'll see what I can do
  9. Mate you should have come to the Essex meet or contacted me for a meet up! Got the cobra resonated on mine and I love it. Loud enough for the public but with no drone!
  10. Nice to see you going down the FI route again mate!
  11. Spotted again on forest Road today, flashed you and got a nod of approval in return
  12. Any update on this Olly? Was considering changing my clutch line to braided, but having second thoughts now after reading your thread lol
  13. They don't fit the GT4 wheels unfortunately mate. Asad, a trader on here, was kind enough to send me a free sample cap to test on my GT4 wheels, but they definitely didn't fit. They're for Rays only as far as I know
  14. Just read through your build thread, car is looking good! Thought we would have seen you on the NC500 this year, you would have loved it! I think the wing suits the car nicely and I've got the same mods regarding the mines lip and the side steps. Chargespeed rear looks the best in my opinion, but I am biased
  15. Seen this one a few times, number plate starting OE53, with a Nismo V1 spoiler. This evening on Woodford Avenue turning into Clayhall Avenue
  16. Have an ebisu one too as a spare Here's the link to the meet if you can make it http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/112933-essex-xmas-meet-the-halfway-house-thurs-1st-dec-730pm-onwards/
  17. IG6 1LD BTW South London eh - you coming to the Xmas meet tomorrow?
  18. So getting closer to the festive period, how's everyone's training regime looking like? Trying to fit in training around social events, and spending time with the wife, etc, I'm limiting myself to a minimum of 3 days a week consisting of Push-Pull-Legs, and anything more is a bonus. Focusing on compound movements which use the most energy and therefore burning more calories, especially with all the lovely food I'm consuming!
  19. A couple I took of my godson today. First time doing shots of people, I've been more used to doing landscapes but trying my hand at different subjects 15mm, f/3.5, 1/15sec IMG_0604.jpg by Chirag Panchal, on Flickr 31mm, f/5.0, 1/15sec IMG_0640.jpg by Chirag Panchal, on Flickr
  20. Taken with a Nikon D810(fx) and Tamron 24-70 f2.8 lens @24mm 1/80th @f10. I've just upgraded from a D7100(dx) and still attached to it is.....guess what? a Sigma 10-20mm !! It was my most used lens and is absolutely brilliant! A bargain at £300. Highly recommended. The pic below was taken with it.... 8sec f11 @10mm....think I had a 10stop nd filter attached. Need more convincing? Great pics mate! I really love doing landscapes and the long exposures, you get so much to play with afterwards
  21. Ordered two 5L bottles of this. It's 50% off on their website off all oils today if anyone needs to stock up
  22. I'd probably be interested in the side steps depending on price
