  1. Right so Jez has offered 15% off if we can get all 5 to agree to go down on the same day - bringing the overall cost down to £340. Firstly, are we looking at Jan or Feb for everyone? I'm away between 21st Jan - 4th Feb, so before or after that would work for me.
  2. And we have a fifth! 1. Chirag1988 2. TGC-Z33 3. Valy 4. RichKitch 5. kayjay0_7 (Kelvin)
  3. Glad to hear you got to the bottom of the problem mate! Unfortunately on mine, the CSC is within the gearbox so I wont be attempting that until changing the clutch altogether. I may just do the braided clutch line though...depends how brave I'm feeling
  4. Congrats Andy! Hopefully I'll be able to make it this year!
  5. Hi all, I've spoken to Jez today about getting my 350z mapped and the normal price is £400 inc VAT. I asked about any discounts if we can get a group buy going and he said to let him know how much interest there is and he'll see what he can sort out. Only condition is that we must all be available on the same day. If there's 2 of us he can offer a 10% discount, but if we can get more, then I'll report back and he'll see what sort of discount he can sort out. Looking at a day early next year - Jan or Feb 2017, ideally Jan if possible! How many people can we get interested firstly? 1. Chirag1988
  6. Thanks mate but why is it making you think of selling up instead of getting it back out? Just seems like the new mirror-less cameras do a far better job, and are more portable......but then i also think you have a good eye and talent, mind you i think i have become over critical of the pics i take as well, and so get put off . One thing I learned from my cousin who does it semi-professionally, is that the picture is what you perceive it to be. There is no real right or wrong, and yes people can criticise, and you can be critical of yourself, but at the end of the day it's what you want to see You could sell up your DSLR and pick up a mirrorless for a decent price and then crack on

  9. I appealed that parking ticket I got when you saw me parked up in Finsbury Park and I got it off
  10. I know I've already submitted 2, but if you need more I can see if I can get some more out if I'm allowed to submit more?
  11. I had this when going to visit a friend once in my zed. Cops pulled me over, talking to me as if I've stolen the car. Gave them my licence and insurance details and proved I was legit, and then they tried to become all "chummy" with me, asking me how much I bought the car for, how much I've spent on it, what's the economy like I just told them I've got somewhere to be, so if they're done with their checks I'll be on my way. They then tried to say they were letting me off a £200 for my front and rear number plates! The cheek!
  12. I quite enjoy having a spirited drive with someone in another sports/sporty car. As long as neither party takes it seriously or make it into a "race" then it can actually be nice to have another "driver" to drive alongside. It's happened to me a couple of times, where either myself or the other party has come up alongside me and given each other a nod or thumbs up to acknowledge each other. Then either we just carry on as normal, or they go ahead, I catch up, they move over, and vice versa. But like you said not when it's someone trying to be a bit of a show-off and doing dangerous things - and especially not the hot hatches who are always trying to "prove" themselves. Those ones I just let go ahead...until a few yards up where traffic is building
  13. What I found annoying with Chris Knott is they go through all the details with you, and then ask you to go and find quotes elsewhere and they'll "see if they can price match". Why wouldn't I just go with the other insurer if there's no difference in price??
  14. Renewed again with Sky for 3rd year running! Came up cheapest, cheaper than last year too, and no extra cost for mods
  15. Saw a black 350z number plate starting RJ05 yesterday on Woodford Avenue coming up to the roundabout going towards Gants Hill. Anyone on here?
  16. Would be awesome. Won't she want a car of her own as well though? We'll probably have a runaround car as well, never know might even still have the polo then! But for now we're going to enjoy the freedom of 2-seater driving
  17. Have already discussed it with the Mrs and when the time comes, we'll look at selling the Z, the SLK and look to get a family monster - hopefully an RS6 estate!
  18. Mrs bought me this as a wedding present https://www.tagheuer.com/en-gb/watches/tag-heuer-formula-1-chronograph-42-mm-caz1111-ba0878

  20. Been a while since I updated here, but not much has happened recently to be honest, other than driving her and trying to keep her clean. I did however do a nice little cheap mod - changed the wheel nuts to gold to add a bit of contrast to the wheels IMG_0825.jpg by Chirag Panchal, on Flickr
  21. Thanks guys it really is a lovely motor, and now I have the option of an economical sports car and an all out petrol drinker EDIT: trying to resist temptation to get it mapped - just thinking how much more power could be squeezed from it
  22. The wife was bored of her TT after owning for 2 years, and for the past few months she had her heart set on an SLK. Now that all wedding debts have been paid, we thought it would be nice for her to treat herself. Introducing - SLK 250 CDI Bought from Big Motoring World, who were really good and no issues. 1 owner from new, 23k miles, full MB service history and serviced before collected, MOT till Aug 2017. It's a lovely motor, lush interior, and decent power - 201bhp and whopping 368lb-ft of torque! Took her for a spin and boy do I love that feeling of the torque kicking you in the back when you plant your foot down!
