Unfortunately my relationship with my 350Z has had to be brought to a premature end. After only 3 months of owenership work / financial changes mean I'm doing a lot more miles and as I don't have the facility to keep two cars she has to go. I might have only had her for a few months but during that time I added a couple of little things which are now up for sale. Kenwood DDX4016BT Double DIN Stereo and 350Z fitting kit. The stereo includes AM/FM Radio, USB Connection, Bluetooth Music and Telephone Connection, CD/DVD Player, the only thing that's missing is the microphone but you can pick those up easily on ebay. I'm looking for £130 which will include postage within mainland UK Sold Next up is a set of LED rear lights, they aren't orognal Nissan but they fit like a charm and look really good on the car, for these I'd like to get £80 to include postage to mainlan UK. They are in perfect condition and will come in the box they were shipped from the USA. Sold Finally comes a gear knob I purchased from this forum, it's brushed aluminium without any colour picking out the gear numbers or 350z along it's side. Got mine from eBay, £30 for the pair, easy install and work great.

Hi I seem to be having an issue with my oil pressure gauge. When I turn the car on, engine not started, the gauge shoots up to three quarter. When I then start the car it treats that level as the base and essentially reads off the scale. Has anybody seen this before and do you reckon the fault is with the gauge or the sender? I'm thinking about changing the gauges to check as they're on eBay for £20. I called my local stealer about the sender and they are quoting £120! Thanks Carl

Took me a while but I finally made a decision, going to go for the tried and tested rout so the car is booked in to Hrosham Development for Tuesday! Nice drive up and, hopefully, even nicer drive back:-)

I bought it from a second hand car dealer in Plymouth, it was part ex'd with a local Nissan dealer and he got it from them. I've got the service history and receipts for new timing chains in July but he didn't have much knowledge about the extras that were fitted to the car. As you say though Horsham Developments isn't exactly a long drive away sp maybe I'll give them a ring. I don't think it's been uprev tuned as the HFCs are causing the CEL to come on and I think that would most likely have been turned off if when uprev'd? If I book it in with them they can take a look and if it needs tuning to get the best out of it they have everything there to do it.

It's taken me a week but I've finally realised the, what I thought was, standard 350Z I picked up last weekend has a few extras: Pop Charger Kinetix Plenum HFCs & Aftermarket Exhaust (no idea what make as I can't see any markings) Can anyone recommend any tuners in the South West (I'm in Exeter, Devon) so that I can make the most of what the last owner fitted or do people recommend a trip across country to get an UpRev? These look great, can I get a brushed metal one with the 350z left clear but the gear lettering in back?

Well I've had my 350Z a week now and I have to say it's been a week of discoveries, primarily because I was apparently so pumped about buying it I didn't pay attention to what I was buying. When I bought the car the only upgrade I noticed was a Pop Charger (fairly obvious hence I saw it), since then though I've made some further discoveries: Kinetix Plenum HFCs (only noticed those because the CEL light came on so I took a look expecting to have to replace the CATs) Upgraded Exhaust (also noticed when checking the CATs) I've got no idea what make the HFCs or Exhaust is but considering I was budgeting around £1500 for those items I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth! Anyway I bought a few items to fit to the car, new stereo, stubby aerial, vent trims, boot struts etc but I was thinking since the last owner spent a fair amount of performance upgrades to would be a shame to waste them. Hence my post, sorry it's taken so long, but does anyone know any good places for a remap in the South West or should I plan a trip across the country to get an UpRev? Any advice greatly appreciated

Thanks all, been spending a few quid over the last few days so lots of little tasks on the Z coming up. Also discovered I have a Kinetix plenum, not sure what that means but shows how much attention I was paying when I bought the car that I didn't notice!

Had a word with the garage I got it from today and they agreed to replace both cats so HFC's will have to wait a little while. Mind you now the seed has been sown I'm thinking HFC's, Invidia Gemini Exhaust and UpRev will be on the cards next Spring! Just have to keep it quiet from the wife

Lol, funny enough I was thinking just that although I'd have to put my new stereo on hold for a while. Mind you with the way the car sounds who needs music:-)
