That's what's throwing me, the fluids got to be going somewhere.

Ive got a problem with my Mrs Qashqai, clutch pedal started staying down last night and today it's totally gone. I've refilled the reservoir with brake fluid as it was empty and got a bit of a clutch back but then the fluid level dropped to nothing again. I've checked the master cylinder and pipe work and can't find a leak so I'm guessing it's the slave that's buggered? I can't find a leak around the gearbox area though. Any thoughts anyone, am I missing something obvious or do you think it does sound like the slave? It's a 2007 1.6 petrol if that makes a difference. Thanks Chris.

Looking at your introduction picture I'm sure your car is pre facelift so these should fit. Your car must of been a late registration or something.

Very clean motor

A wealthy friend of mine was in a similar predicament a couple of years ago , I think he had six points already and was caught at 120+. He hired a legal team from London who specialise in speeding cases and argued that he needed his car for his job, his kids would suffer etc...... End result, he got banned for 6 months, had a £2500 fine and still had 12 points on his licence when he got it back. The legal bill was around £7000 ( he never told me the exact amount) . We all speed at some point and you got caught , take the punishment and don't waste a load of money on a solicitor as I think the end result will be the same.
