  1. Hi and welcome. Nice looking car
  2. Welcome to the forum. There’s no way your ‘good friend’ will lead you astray with your Zed
  3. Why, what’s wrong with a TT?
  4. Seriously impressive work, well done!
  5. Some cracking video’s there mate. What’s next for you then if you’re leaving?
  6. This subject is always going to divide opinions. I think most of us know exactly how it works, it effectively gives a bigger throttle output for less pedal travel. Does it give more power - No (but I don’t think anyone is claiming it does) Does it make the car faster - No (but I don’t think anyone is claiming it does) Does it ’feel’ the same as putting your foot down further - In theory it is the same I.e. throttle output increased for less pedal travel, but, does it ’feel’ the same - No it doesn’t. It’s difficult to explain ‘feel’ , and people will disagree with me, however I bought one for my auto 370 years ago because the throttle response felt ‘dull and slow’. I DId Not buy it to make the car faster (or even feel faster), more powerful etc etc, I bought it to improve driveability by improving throttle response. For me personally, and it is only my opinion, it made a huge improvement to the driveability of my car. Since installing it I’ve let loads of people try it and every single one has said the car drives much better with the sprint booster on. There will always be people who through personal experience or just opinion will disagree with my points above, and I’m not saying I’m right, just stating my opinion. If anyone is thinking of getting one I’d say try a car with one installed and make up your own mind - at the end of the day that’s all that matters.
  7. +1 for sprint booster, really easy to instal and very effective
  8. Bummer, not a good start to ownership. If it’s any consolation it looked good . Sure you’ll be out enjoying it soon
  9. Good to see a top guy and long time member step up
  10. Definitely get the geo checked. Mine felt really light at the front at speed, and generally not as good as I thought it should when I first got it. I had the geo set up (it was quite a bit off) and the transformation was like night and day! I also had spacers on at the time.
  11. As the others have said, glad you’re ok that’s the main thing. It’s always upsetting to lose your pride and joy but at the end of the day it can be replaced - you can’t
  12. Having owned both for quite a few years I’d say go for a test drive. They’re both so different, and both have their positives and negatives. As others have said, the RS doesn’t have the same driving dynamics as the Zed, but is quicker (by a long way once mapped) and the build quality is much better. A big plus for the Audi is that 5 cylinder engine, which is fantastic.
  13. What Jack said, drop some hfc’s in
  14. Ha ha, we all say that! Let’s see how long you last
  15. How are you finding the difference jumping to the 70? We need pics!
  16. Hi and welcome. Good luck with your search, I’m sure you’ll really enjoy the Zed when you get it
  17. Hi and welcome. Should have no problem getting parts on her
