  1. Hi There! Just had mine fitted, Went for the 20mm drop as you recommended. Looks great and no issues with speedbumps in my area and the ride was pretty good, especially considering I've fitted the ARBs at the same time. The guy who fitted them left the adjusters (For dampening) off so I did the front ones tonight and realised he'd gone soft -10 clicks instead of hard -10 clicks so I've adjusted the front but he mentioned the back didn't have the extenders so he couldn't run them through the top plastic bit. Tried to see if I could get the plastics off the rear strut bar but I'm utterly hopeless, Managed to get the top bit off one side but it looks like you need to take one of the side plastics off and I couldn't work that out. I'm an ape when it comes to these things. Can you buy extenders? If so I think I need a pair... Odd question, but will I be able to fit those extenders without taking he side plastics off (Just drop them into the hole) Also are they meant to be secure as mine are relatively loose and lets just assume I'm doing something wrong here because I can't even work out plastic trim!
  2. Thanks for the update Tiny. I'm having these fitted today in conjunction with Eibach ARBs On the ARB's I've gone soft front, Medium Rear. Whats your settings? When you say Hard -10 does that mean you cranked it all the way round to its hardest setting then dialled it back 10 clicks?
  3. Thanks mate. Most appriciated Sent from my Galaxy Note 4 with Tapatalk
  4. Did you find anywhere? Same boat, same area Sent from my Galaxy Note 4 with Tapatalk
  5. Think I went for a stiffer rear, but then I like my cars oversteery and I had a hell of a lot of other bracing on as well which affected just how much the ARBs changed the drive. I'd certainly start with your settings, you can always change them easily enough to suit your own style Sounds like good advise, i will try that set-up first Wizza what did you go for in the end. Having mine done tomorrow. Sent from my Galaxy Note 4 with Tapatalk
  6. I'm about to have some Eibachs fitted tomorrow, Are we saying front full stiff back full soft? I would of thought if anything Front full stiff, back mid stiff?
  7. Would also be interested to know braided line costs if bundled.
  8. ... This isn't fair. I thought you said one deal a month! What are these like for fast Road occasional Track use. I went for dba t4s last time and ferrodo 2500. I've cooked brakes on the track in my old LCR and I've lived in fear since! I feel like you have access to my parts list, Sent from my Galaxy Note 4 with Tapatalk
  9. Ooooh I cant wait! Get me some sexy spacers!

    Coilovers

Afternoon Everyone. I've been through a bunch of threads but I've not had too much feedback on exactly what I'm looking for so I decided to create my own thread. I've gone for some Torqen coilovers and I'm excited to get them on the car, but This is my first ever time lowering a car. Most of my previous hot hatches have not really required it but this time I wanted to go for some adjustable stance so I bought some coilovers. I do however live somewhere where I HAVE to go over speedbumps regardless of the direction I leave my street there are a bunch to my left and a single one to my right. They are not extreme like some of the ones I've seen in London but they are speedbumps all the same. I was thinking of opting for a 20mm drop, I'm not going for extreme stance and as I live in south wales I fully intend on visiting those beautiful hills and having a hoon so I don't want to drop it too low as the roads are not flat! I've also been made aware of camber issues when going too low. Whats the most do you think that I should drop that wont result in camber/toe issues and will still allow me to clear speedbumps? And how low can you take it without Camber/Toe issues? I was thinking 30mm but I don't want to damage my Ark exhaust (She purty) so 20mm? Cheers
  12. Sorry, I dont understand this, how is he being prosecuted when you can't tell what Road he's on, the speed or the distance from anything? All you can see is his mug? I couldn't understand if it was a forward facing camera but its not? You can't tell anything from that video? Sent from my Galaxy Note 4 with Tapatalk
  13. Thanks Lyndzzz. That's an idea Andy. Would definitely love to give that a try one day. It's a 2 Ltr engine Matt so still got some get up & go to keep me happy. I could never drive a £200 shed, ...love my performance cars too much. The fact is that the insurance is half the cost per year that my Zed was, tyres are smaller so cheaper, it's more economical and it has more boot space which will be useful when moving our things & buying new furniture. Personally I prefer having a really old diesel for a daily, makes the weekends more fun. Cost me £300 and has gone for over a year at this point. Zed's are the only jap car that gets me going other than maybe an S2000 if I was to move away from Zed's it would probably be back to a Leon Cupra R. German and turbo's! FN2s are pretty nice and the interior is Like a spacecraft. Just not my bag. How long before its covered in mods though? Sent from my Galaxy Note 4 with Tapatalk
  14. Just had a work colleague who has a MK3 Golf have his roof redone, not a show car but his daily driver that he just wants to keep running. Took it here too. Absolutely sterling job, Quality is beyond belief for the price!
  15. I find these cars absolutely amazing and having had the privilege of being a passenger in one I can say that I've never sat in a car that made me feel more like 'this is the future' That said I miss the loud obnoxious combustion engine sound track... Tesla for the daily? Sent from my Galaxy Note 4 with Tapatalk
  16. Beautiful shots that colour on the car is fantastic Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  17. I kind of knew the answer Just throwing it out there for everyone to see. Might order a set when I get my roll bars this paycheck!
  18. If you just swap the suspension how far can you drop it? I heard something like 20mm is the max without camber arms?
  19. Off work at the moment, Sciatica otherwise you could of had them. Gonna start Tagging you guys on Instagram, Put my first picture up today #torqen
  20. Mine arrived yesterday. Really looking forward to getting these setup... Going to get sway bars and droplinks and have them all setup at once for a solid Torqen driving experience!
  21. Someone's selling all these parts in the 350 parts for sale. Stripped from a GT4 for Track use Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  22. Get CCTV one on the car one across the front of your and I assume his front of house. Catch him in the act, take him to court and reclaim all losses, fees from time off work, to respray, to even the CCTV camera itself. Doesn't like you parking on a street with zero parking restrictions? His loss now, time to take him to town! Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  23. Didn't want to fire off an update straight away but so far my experiences with Torqen have been nothing but positive. Very prompt in all communications, postage and various updates. I love the digital invoices that they have, very professional (Easy to catalog in PDF format!) I've a vast amount of confidence in them and I'm really looking forward to ordering products in the future. A great start to a new company, everything so far has been very professional and I can see it staying that way!
  24. When the sun came out I wished I'd bought a soft top because I want to listen to my ark exhaust howl but I'm not keen on the looks when the top is up... And most of the British year I would expect it to be poor weather Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  25. Your zed won't feel and probably won't be any faster than the TT had a 225 Lcr before this mapped to about 270hp and that could play with a zed all day. That said I do enjoy my zed as a weekend car Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
