  1. Why scum? Are you referring specifically to the arseholes who started noise with the police and spraypainted the war memorial? I'd agree with you on that part. Although in almost every protest in London you have dem yout's who are only there to cause havoc. Sadly innocents get caught in the crossfire all too often and as the police are on the warpath at that point normally injuries occur. As someone whos immediate family work in the NHS (Mother, Father, Aunt, Cousins and Partner) I can say without a doubt that none of them are looking forward to the coming cuts to pensions and overall NHS finance. They claim they will put more money into the NHS but previous years have shown that be a drop in the ocean compared to whats required and in many cases they cut critical services to fund other parts of the service. Also as someone whos mother is now disabled after 30+ years of NHS service I find it terrible the way the way we've cut back on disability benefits to the point where someone who can't walk 80% of the time, and spends most of her outdoor time in a buggy is having to fight to keep her disability vehicle with its hoist. I really don't like the direction we are taking in the UK, It seems that the media generates unrest in the working class and is trying to make us turn on people worse off than ourselves instead of focusing on the fatcats sitting on thrones of money. If the Mrs passes her Canadian health qualifications we are getting married and I'm gone!
  2. Sound logic I've voted (last year) and I vote Liberal Democrats, We've seen how thats turned out. Not sure I trust myself anymore
  3. Well.. It is very well known, because its on the guardian. If it wasn't very well known it would be on a few conspiracy websites. Its one google search away of why not to vote UKIP So... it is, to say that it isn't well known implies that you've not researched your parties all. I dont think that all of UKIP are Racist, Or all people that Support UKIP are Racist (I never said that, Your putting words in my mouth) However I did say that someone that votes UKIP changes my opinion on them and it does Most of people who Vote UKIP either Like the ideas and ignore its racist past Like the ideas and are racist Don't know who to vote for but heard that they are pretty good! Are all the Tories paedophiles? No Is everyone that supports them fiddling kids? No Do they have a history of it? Yes Would I vote for them? Not if they were the last kiddy fiddling hope on the planet.
  4. But that's like saying - If a policeman is racist, the whole force is racist? No it really isnt, If you want to use the police as an example its like saying the leaders of the force are racist and they make the decisions, set the rules and budgets, but not all members are racist however there is an inherent racism that runs rife through the force because of it and the ones that are not racist they just like some of the ideas but they are unknowingly at the behest of the leaders. Also... The opinons you have of the newspaper wont change the facts within them. They do have ties with right wing racists, its very well known.
  5. Their 'Ethos' or 'Agenda' doesn't need to be racist if they are founded on a number of racist members then their opinions, agendas and actions are biased against that Don't get me wrong, I don't trust a single politician, but I especially can't stand with notorious racists and a party thats biased in that way. As a staunch Anti-Racist I can't imagine Voting UKIP based on its founders and its history. I'm currently in work so I dont really have time to list all of the many reasons And I despise that Nigel pretends to be Everymans Working man when he literally couldn't be further from it.(Although I despise when all politicians pull this nonsense) http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2014/apr/29/10-good-reasons-not-vote-ukip-nigel-farage-europe http://www.newstatesman.com/politics/2013/02/ukip-party-bigots-lets-look-evidence Those are two links from a quick google but I did a substancial amount of reading into UKIP, its basically, Lets choose things that annoy people. Lets tell them we are going to fix them. Can we fix them? No, but most people wont look further than the promises.
  6. UKIP are a huge racist joke. The fact anyone would vote for them really changes my opinion on them.
  7. That V6 wail was beautiful in person. Stealthy when low on the revs but roars as you give it Wot. Exactly how I think an exhaust should be
  8. OK Interesting, I think I'll have the alignment checked into first. Does anyone know any reputable independants in the South Wales/Bristol/That side of england area. Don't mind travelling a bit to get it right, New car is a 2007 350Z HR with 43K on the clock if that helps Old one was a 2006 DE Revup with 60K on the clock (this felt solid) Edit: Number of people on Pistonheads recommend Avia in Bridgend for their motors I work in Bridgend so I'll get it checked out very soon and let you know!
  9. So, This is my second Zed now. The first one I had must have been modified but there was no paperwork to suggest it so I assumed that awesome exhaust note was standard... Now I have the second one hes much more timid, However the DE felt alot more planted even with the crap tires. Not going to lie this one intimidates me a little and isn't inspiring much confidence, I obviously had my confidence knocked quite a bit when I had my accident in the first one, so much like my Leon Cupra R (When its brakes failed) I want to go a little overboard to make sure shes up to snuff. I'm supposed to be saving for a house... But I want to make sure shes in bloody good working order Now obviously you have sway bars, Springs/Shocks/Suspension work and sticky tires. Thankfully I have MPSS all round this time but two things stand out The car feels like it tramlines HARD, this could be the new tires but it still catches me when I'm lazy driving but when I try a little spirited driving it feels loose. I checked tyre pressures all round and all are at about 36PSI when warm so I think thats fine? I'm wondering about bushes and general wear and tear items before I get started on the big stuff. The car is due to go into nissan for a warrenty issue with the Hazard lights think It would be worth getting them to have a look? Another issue I'm having is if I go full lock turning into a junction and I move away on full lock it doesn't 'Feel right' almost a little slippy? Very loose? And it doesn't seem to centre the wheel as quickly as I'd expect but I could be finding issues that don't exist here! If anyone can shed any light or previous similar issues please let me know Its still in warranty at the moment but I think I trust you guys more than main dealers.
  10. Horses for courses really. I don't see it like that at all. I see it as a great resource for ideas and sharing.
  11. Hi Guys, So I watch alot of Matt Farahs videos online, from his hosting on drive to his own channel The Smoking Tire (Check it out) Anyway, They chat about a site called Wheelwell and people submit their cars to him for him to drive them around the canyons and give feedback. Makes for interesting viewing. Anyway, They use Wheelwell for this purpose so I signed up to see what it was all about, Its very US Centric at the moment but I emailed Wheelwell support (They are only three months old) and they said they will be adding vehicle databases from the EU soon also. Thankfully we drive Zeds so we will be able to add our current cars with ease, I've added my two to my Garage. https://www.wheelwel...0ef3d343/garage Was wondering if anyone else was using it? Or interested in Using it? It doesn't offer the same information etc as a forum but you can easily click people, view their cars and the parts they've bought (Where they've bought them from and had them fitted etc) This is more like a facebook for cars, Anyone else on there? Would love to add some UK Zeds to see what you guys are running, I dont mind readers ride threads but there are normally pages of comments that I'd rather skip over and get to the parts! Edit: They've recently added clubs, You might want to snap up 350z-UK before someone else does.
  12. I nearly bought this. Sorry to hear it ended up with you in this condition. Its always a shame when something like this happens.
  13. Had a 350z. Binned it. Have a 350z with mpss now. I now see the error of my ways
  14. Very cool. I've been looking into a wireless charging kit for my note 4. The intention there was to use the cubby but its too big. Cool setup, bravo!
  15. Sounds a bit silly but the DE and the HR are the same fitment here right?
  16. After thinking about it it wasn't as 'busy' I was expecting throughout the day and I got back to my club stand at 4:30 and myself and a friend were the only two cars left. Maybe they are letting people get away with it because they are too afraid to get rid of people doing the naughties. I've always been too scared to take my Car on that track because of quarry corner however after this year I think I'd only ever do it with a club of enthusiasts I knew I could trust. The Briskoda session was the most sensible... I think that says alot about that forum to be honest.
  17. 20 yards! You must have had a good day. Mine gets to sit in mine. No more!
  18. The escorts hooned around drifting all day, no one stopped them. An old BMW did the same and nearly caused a couple of accidents and even had an off. Driving like that puts me off standard sessions
  19. Only very brief but you can hear that V6 wail, That was the point I decided to move to the straight instead.
  20. You will love it. I prefer my HR however my rev up was pretty awesome and never used a drop of oil
  21. Yeah not alot of people will sell one. There was a carbon fibre one for sale
  22. Right at the start of the day. Someone drove past me in a Gun metal 350 and gave me a thumbs up near one of the entrances
  23. I saw a gun metal one on the track and thought Hmm he's taking it easy 3rd lap in he really started opening the taps after quarry rise. Once up in the higher revs the zed sounded glorious. I'm going. To assume that was you... I moved down to the straight after quarry rise to get some video footage but by the time I got there the session was up. My zed was there too. Didn't Track it. Too scared!
  24. Also to note, I know that road. Well thats a series of roads but the main road and hairpin start here - https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.821121,-3.85751,3a,75y,28.39h,80.29t/data=!3m4!1e1!3m2!1spNnDbAvLzpODaFxaPFcBXw!2e0?hl=en Upper Brynammen? I think its called.
