  1. You'd be surprised how many customers cars smell of weed Getting cigarette smoke out of a car is a real chore , my Evo 6 stank of smoke and seeing that weed is much more tarry and greasy it will take a lot of shifting. All the plastics need cleaning as do all the fabrics including the hood and its even worth stripping the vents down , best of luck
  2. From the US of A , not cheap but better quality than the mishimoto ones
  3. I have a used but good one in the office, if you want to say £10 + the p & p you can have it , just give me a call
  4. You mean connect the two wires at sensor unit? Il give that a try when it stops raining. Yeh its a silly glowshift thing from the states only chose the set because it had purple to go with my colour scheme at the time. yep those two , its almost certainly the gauge , I would not advise removing the sensor unless you need to , i've seen the threads strip just by removing them
  5. Have you tried connecting the two wires from the sender together ? The gauge should read maximum I suspect the gauge , is it a cheap one?
  6. I know the rears are 20.2mm min thickness , i cant recall the fronts off the top of my head, I'll need to check the fsm tomorrow
  7. I see a lot of 350's and 370's three or four a day usually On the roads I see more R35 GTR's than zed's around here
  8. Just keep an eye on your oil pressure. Im running my HR on 92k and trying not to think to much about it. Research suggests its a 50 gasket that costs about 900 to fit. The two troublesome gaskets arent too bad ie less than £50 but shockingly the 6 o rings that need replacing at the same time cost £56 on their own, by the time you have bought all the bits you need gaskets, o rings and seals wise (Plus we uprate the bolts at the same time) its about £200
  9. Nothing we would add to that list. Should be good to see you, not has one in since I started
  10. It is a worry for some but we are a huge importer from the EU and that is unlikley change but we live in a much more global market than we did when we signed up and there are options for us to import from countries that we couldnt before. There is a great deal of unanswered questions about staying also To assume the worst will happen and allow yourself to be swayed by fear is a little bit cowardly imo but all we see is scare stories about what would happen if we leave or if we stay
  11. I know about the free trade agreements but jumping to the assumption that a new agreement wont operate in a very similar way to how things are now is a leap. The reason there is an agreement is that it benefits all parties , any agreements in the future would also have to benefit all parties
  12. Higher prices for imports from the EU ? Oh yes i remember the bonanza that happened when we joined and all of a sudden the price of BMW's went throught he floor ! lol the prices didnt go down when we joined and they wont go down if we leave, the only way the prices would go up is if the UK stuck a levy on imports from the EU , cant see that that would automatically have a knock on effect on exports Its a climate of fear being spread , seems to work

    0 - 60 mph..

My 370, doesnt do too badly on the 0-60 but its not that quick to 60 nor down the 1/4 mile really
  18. If he hasnt I have one near Berks you can borrow
  19. Do you know if the cards are the same as the coupe? I might be interested in it all
  20. Lets be honest the EU hasnt "given" us anything we as UK taxpayers bought and paid for it , the regulations they came up with may or may not be a good thing but its us that paid for them Of course businesses would suffer if we left the EU but that doesnt mean that the "man in the street" would. "Brussels" is very costly to the UK tax payer the choice is whether people think that they get good value for money or not
  21. So the COG has no impact ? The Tesla handles very well indeed it has a very low centre of gravity and it stops exceptionally well since it has massive brakes and regen braking it has a similar 100-0 kmh as a Porsche Cayman
  22. Handling and EV do not currently go together. A 2 ton barge isn't my idea of handling I feel no excitement for an electric dragster. It depends on where the weight is , the Tesla P85d handles very well indeed , I take it you have driven one and didnt like it ?
  23. I dunno performance and handling has always been high on my list
  24. Aside from exotica and stuff that's simply a bad design or manufacturing error, I'm struggling to think of anything. Replacing batteries might be quick and easy, but they're not going to be cheap to purchase and you can bet it'll be a dealer-only thing as they'll need special programming. I can think of many VAG products that often need expensive engine ie DMF/DPF , rebuilds etc let alone DSG box failures, granted I'm familiar with the brand Tesla have a 8 year infinite mileage warranty , seem to have more faith in their products than ICE manufacturers Its not just about saving money either, thats not the justification for everyone
  25. There arent any 3 year old Teslas , what he is saying is you will get at least 50% back as a guarantee, the residuals on Teslas is very strong indeed much stronger than Audi, Mercedes or BMW
