My old car CF12RGF that Dominic traded in was a minter so if that appears I have kept a huge file on the history of it rather than let the trade lose it , CF12 RGF in case someone searches the forum
-
Thanks Dominic - I had already met Reggie and Dominic as we both used H-Dev for work before I started here We have done a few supercharger installs here at H-dev and the last one we did on a very nice gunmetal 370z got me thinking about doing a supercharger conversion on mine (although I had different plans for my car) So ideal for me when Reggie came up and much nicer for a car like that to be owned by an enthusiat rather than being broken down for parts or simply disappearing into the trade I have a few plans for it , have already removed the SPL droplinks for stock ones, was able to fit my carbon shift paddles and retrimmed wheel along with the obligatory GTR start button , lots of little changes planned including a remap with Ecutek First things first was a good detail, going from daily driver to a regular on the show circuit will take some elbow grease for sure but a start has been made

It will indeed take hours , I would vote for option 2 , much easier to live

[SOLD]Invidia Gemini system, decats, HKS filters and HPS intake pipes

Post updated - Invidia system and HKS filters sold Still have decats and the hps intake pipes -
I took one of the new ones out recently , I thought it would be right up my street , big powerful and rwd with lots more space than the 370 I have to say I have rarely been as disappointed in a car The finish inside was lousy the stitching around the dash was poor and not even straight , the general materials were cheap and poor quality , it sounded nice around town but was too quiet on full chat , the model i drove was meant to be 575hp , if you have told me it was 400hp i would have believed you the performance was totally underwhelming really didnt feel like a car that can hit 60 in less than 5 seconds Worse of all 12 months lead time £5k non returnable deposit and 6% interest on finance Even the wife who drives a Prius was scathing , she said its like a big Vectra - have to say I agreed with her Truth was I was totally gutted , I really wanted to love the car , it well within my budget and would have probably replaced my daily as well as they are so practical I had met a load of owners the week before and a few of them reckoned I wouldn't be impressed after driving a 370z , sad to say they were right But there are some pluses , a good bunch of owners , passionate about their cars , the sound of a V8 , cheaper parts and some are easy to get hold of in the right places and very rare on the road

black 370 to stealth bomber is no more :(
Richf replied to nissanman312's topic in Member Build Projects
I thought I did but no Market value so basically I got 18 for the car which I thought was generous but only 5 for mods 18k isnt bad really , my 2012 GT Edition with 35k on it only booked at 17 something but as you say a killer on the mods let alone the cost of installation of everything -

Very sad news especially at the level of commitment you had for the project. But as said , life is more precious -

Why is she eating her dinner in the car???? You can see why Skylines are known as Skybus's, its not a bad looking car, but jeez does it look huge compared to a 7 Skylines arent big , RX-7's are tiny

Swirl marks everywhere, Do I go pro or use poorboys black hole?
Richf replied to Mikevv's topic in Paint & Protection
Another vote for Tim , he does top drawer work , I've travelled from Newbury to see him -
The GTT tiptronic has the gear display on the dash so a pic of that will help determine if its converted or not , the steering wheel is the auto version for sure
-
I owned a GTT but never driven an RX7 its too small inside for me I paid £4600 for mine , yes £4600 but it needed a little TLC Great looking car , i regret selling it but someone made me an offer I couldnt refuse
-
If you cant afford a GTT you wont be able to afford a good RX-7 imo and a bad RX will make you lose the will to live , as NWB said they are very much an enthusaist car needing a lot of fettlling

[SOLD]Brand new, genuine Nissan 370Z mats and boot liner.
Richf replied to oldskool-b-boy's topic in 370z Parts For Sale
I'll take the boot mat -
I had a brief go in one the auto , not bad much more refined than the earlier Evo's i have driven and easier to live with bit more fragile so i heard on the MLR so 380hp is about it on the stock engine Most of the horror stories like gearbox failures and ayc arent that bad nowadays and much cheaper to sort Not the build quality of a Nissan though ime. I can recommend a decent place near aylesbury , they sell and support evo's http://www.autotorque.net/ sales is http://www.atpcars.co.uk/ they get nice ones in occasionally , personally I would consider the 9 over the 10 anyday
-
Not a GT Edition , but a normal GT. sounds like the camera isnt wired correctly , that can be sorted easy enough
