  1. it's one hell of a machine I'm sure but I agree with Jetpilot as I think £80K is a bit much. Would rather an older GTR and some change.
  2. Please remember guys that this is Grahams for sale thread and not a topic necessarily for discussions on unless you're interested in buying the vehicle. Also Graham stated that he had over taken C63 AMG mercs, supercharged Jags etc on track. He was stating a fact. Just let me know Graham if you want any posts deleted or hidden. GLWTS.
  3. I ran Berks De-Cats and an Invidia Gemini exhaust system on my DE Zed (although it was also supercharged). I passed the 100dB static test (1/2mtr @4.5K rpm) at Castle Combe although later in the day I was pulled in for another noise test as my Zed was too loud for the driveby dB noise checks. Do you know what dB limits you'll be facing Tom as it can differ between circuits. Plus if you fail the driveby noise checks as I did if you know where they are you can drive around them by not pressing the throttle as hard when going past or upshifting earlier etc. Some dB figures in this old thread I wrote: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/97440-performance-car-action-day-at-castle-combe-video-pics-250415/
  4. Definitely. Nice looking though. I know some seats do seem to demand a premium even in used condition though. Recaro RS4 wingbacks are one set that springs to mind as they're usually at least a £1K each in used condition. 5. You mean not giving a sh*t at all? Or enjoying a chance encounter with a fellow petrolhead?
  6. Honest opinion Gareth ~ I'd tell the ex to go and take a long walk off a short pier. Although she obviously invested in your house by the sounds of it I know but that's her loss now she's decided to end the relationship imo. Legally if you lived together for more than 6 months I believe she could claim that you were "common law" partners but she would have to be able to prove she bought certain things for the house & they were not gifts to you. Legally she does own what she bought (so would need all the receipts as proof) and can take those items back if they weren't gifts to you but as for home improvements I don't think she can do anything about that. I'd talk to a solicitor if it starts to get too serious, ...you'd be looking at around £150 per hour I'd guess but you might only need a one hour session to get your head around the legalities. 7. Welcome aboard. Did somebody tell you that dyno reading or have you got the dyno sheet? Just sounds a little on the high side for a DE Zed with just an exhaust system. Either way enjoy your car.
  8. Great picture Trig and you've got some serious lock on there.
  9. Did you try the Dremel fibreglass reinforced cutting wheels? I've cut all sorts with those including carbon fibre, stainless steel, heat treated steel & more. 10. Not as far as I know. Apparently it was his friends car and he mentioned it on here in case anyone wanted to buy it. Soon as I saw the pics coupled with you mentioning it was from the Malaysian Touring Cars I remembered it. Thanks GM. Ye think Blaze had a problem shifting it to start with, we got a proper engine for it as it only had a fairly standard 2 liter lump in it which was a waste of all the other good bits and with only 210 BHP wasn't all that quick. I'm amazed you remembered the car, must have made an impression on you. It was a great looking track ready weapon, ...I've got a pretty good memory nowadays though so I just tend to remember random stuff.

Well it doesn't look out of place so as long as you're happy with it then that's all that matters.
  12. Fyi longsh7 AFAIK my Zed never had switchable maps after it's UpRevs were done (once before FI & once again when I was FI) and yes I had cruise control so that feature maybe at the mappers discretion to add or only if the customer specifies they want it. @CarlW ~ I assumed as you mentioned your EML has come on in-conjunction with you mentioning the HFC's that you had done a code check which showed the secondary O2 sensors at fault which is common on cars with HFC's or De-Cats if they haven't had the secondary O2 sensors switched off after an UpRev. If you don't know why the EML has come on then you're really best off getting the code read before doing anything else.

Looks pretty nice. Is the black bit leather, carbon or something else?
  14. From your location it's a bit of a drive but I'd use Horsham Developments and get an UpRev done if it was me. Link: http://h-dev.co.uk/our-services/mapping-and-dyno-hire/?v=79cba1185463 Used them myself and it was worth the drive from where I live.

  16. Did you buy that from a guy called John? An ex-member on here (Will) had a friend of his selling that exact car I'm sure. No pics left in the advert but I'm certain it's the same car. eBay advert: http://www.ebay.co.u...cvip=true&rt=nc Small world yes the car came from Blaze Motorsport in Maidstone John Hewitt. That's not the car in the advert in the link you posted though. Think we paid about £10,5k for it. Sold it on at a track day to a rich kid who fell in love with it and made an offer we couldn't refuse, didn't replace it yet so not been out tracking for a while. The car pictured isn't the car I know as that's just something similar that eBay links you too as the original listing has ended. It's the original advert for the car if you scroll down and read it though, ...although all the pictures are missing now. Great car though I bet.
  17. I think that's very cool. Great bit of design & engineering gone into that to make it work.
