  1. ^^ Not a good daily driver I'll bet but looks cool.
  2. What Alex and Pete said imo. Think your very lucky jonny as that could have easily been a serious accident just waiting to happen. Get some new rubber and you should be good to go.
  3. All I can say is good luck as you've definitely got your work cut out for the next few days.
  4. I thought it was a picnic table though for when on long journeys so he can stop and eat on it?!
  5. I was worried about mine falling off but it held on at 80mph plus so it's pretty strong. We really should get a GoPro one day though if they ever stop selling them for like a million quid or whatever the price is now. Might start looking at second hand if I can find any but I'd still rather spend the cash on the Zed then on filming it.
  6. You should be happy mate ~ they look awesome. ..And regarding lowering/rolled arches etc all in good time I'm sure.
  7. I'd definitely do pads all round (if changing type) but do you need disc's all round as well? Maybe just do the fronts first with something decent and then do the backs when you have a bit more cash. Or is money not the issue and you really just don't want to spend a lot on the brakes?
  8. 265/40/18's I'll be able to go to a 275 if I lower it. and 285 With more camber. That's surprising. Has it just got a big offset then as it sticks out a fair bit from the arch? Loving the stretched tyre look btw.
  9. wanted to but could never justify buying a gopro Does it have to be a GoPro though?! I got some reasonable footage from my 5 year old crappy (probably 1kg ) Sony camera when I stuck it on my back window using a suction mounted holder from eBay. The sound was cr*p though as it just sounded windy but still not bad.
  10. So what width are the rear tyres then? 285?
  11. Great little videos StevoD. Have you ever put a camera on the car though? Something like a suction mounted camera facing backwards might make for some really cool footage.
  12. Yeah that RX driver would have pi**ed me right off if I'd have been on track with him. Never mind it being his first time out on track was it his first day driving because he sure as hell didn't use his mirrors!! Nearly took that other guy out on the straight ffs. Anyway came across this video ~ Top Gear on a track session ~ filmed by a rather excited RX8 driver and his mate. Link: Funny at one point when the RX8 driver comments something like; "come on bl**dy Subaru get out of my way with your silly turbo" ...only to be then left in the dust as the Subaru pegs it off into the distance at one hell of a pace.
  13. +1. I'm currently using EBC grooved/dimpled discs with Ferodo DS2500 pads. Probably cost you around £600+ odd though to do that set up all round but worth it imo. Some good offers here on brakes from Horsham Developments where I got mine from; http://www.h-dev.co.uk/index.php?cPath=78_169_293_463_465_1414
  14. Welcome aboard. Like the M3 although not the colour but the Zed looks gorgeous, as they all do.
  15. Happy Birthday ~ great weather for it.
  16. Looks absolutely mint does that Sir. thanks! it has been a labour of love for the last 7 years and is pretty much mint like you said. No rust, Complete engine rebuild with some tasty upgrades all round. At the moment i'm refurbing the wheels which is not easy Future classic?! ..some might even say it's classic now though. Any engine bay pictures? Either way keep it up.
  17. No probs thought I'd show yours off as it looks so great mate. Got my hydro dipped interior bits back this week which I'm really pleased with ~ not fitting them till the end of this month though. (pictures will be then) They look so good in fact that I now have plans to eventually have dipped the B pillars and my engine cover. Carrie not sure if you've got stuff dipped yet but once you do its an eye opener. Can dip so many bits and since it bonds to the paint it's not like stickers or anything like that. GM gonna need pics mate can't wait. B pillers look excellent dipped. Going to put pictures up once I've fitted the interior bits ~ just waiting for after my Zeds back from the sprayers towards the end of the month (taking it in on the 27th). B-Pillars and things will be done a lot later in the year though as I have other plans first.
  18. Oooh like that one mate. Very nice.

  20. Few from google; Last one for grundy. ;)
  21. Well tell him he has some skills either way because it look's great. I'd say Hydro dipping may be the answer. Take a look at Wizurds Hydro dipped engine cover and see what you think ~ Post n#64; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/84682-wizurds-build-confirmed-zeditus/page__st__60
  22. Was it Hydro dipped? or just painted? Engine bay looks great btw.
