  1. Got my tax to buy this month as well. £156.75 for 6 months. Can't wait for the new system to start though as my eBay special tax disc holder keeps falling off the window.
  2. Nice drive grundy. Shame about the GoPro swinging about like that though. Definitely need to invest in a proper camera mount for next time.
  3. Jeez, that's not good. I heard there were a few crashes on the way to Japfest also. Saw some piccies of some Civic's smashed up That NSX crash was years ago btw Linus27 just in case you didn't spot that bit.
  4. Great job JoKeR. Look's great.
  5. Don't worry about it. If all you can use is super market fuel stations then just make sure it's always the Super unleaded fuel you use. Shell also do a map showing the locations of their fuel stations that sell Super unleaded V-power/nitro; http://www.shell.co.uk/gbr/products-services/on-the-road/online-station-locator.html
  6. Well if you use the standard 95 unleaded that could still happen plus a lot worse as it's the incorrect fuel to use in a Zed. I use Texaco Super Unleaded and Shell V-Power Nitro in mine and I have never had a problem using either fuel. I tend to stay clear of supermarket fuel stations tbh. Wrong section btw.

It is possible but if I was you I'd just do the exhaust system as well at the same time to save hassle. If your standard exhaust is still in good condition then you can always sell it afterwards to recoup some cash or keep it for if you ever want to sell the car & go back to standard. It does imo. It's exactly what I have on my 350 and I absolutely love the noise it makes. Definitely worthwhile investment imo. I've heard of lot's of people passing the MOT with HFC's and not many failing tbh. In fact I just passed my MOT about a week or so ago with an Invidia Gemini system and Berks HFC's. Wasn't even close to failing the emissions tests.
  8. Come and get your self booked on track I still need a lot of mods to be track ready lol I need oil cooler and I've done no suspension mods yet.... Is there club stands on this too?? That's what she 'Zed' :-/ In terms of track ready, nor was mine yesterday, just performance mods. Brakes and Suspension = Standard. There's a thread in Major Meet/event section. Kl yh I'll have a butchers coz I really do want to do it at some point! That's what she 'Zed' :-/ JokeR I started doing track days back in the mid 90's. The first car I took on a track day was a standard 1992 Rover 214si. No mods on it whatsoever and it was only a 1.4litre but I had the time of my life that day I can tell you. None of my mates at the time would come with me either so I thought f**k it and drove to Castle Combe on my own. Back in those days there where less restrictions (didn't even have to wear a helmet in a tintop car ) and track days weren't as popular or well known as they are now. It was really great fun and it will be one of those experiences you will never forget. All you really need to do is make sure your car is road worthy. Eg: all fluids good (brake fluid/coolant etc), all brakes are good and tyres too. When you get on track just take your time and build up the speed progressively lap by lap ~ try not to get too excited and always remember it's not a race so it doesn't matter if you get over taken by every car on the track just as long as you're having fun.
  9. Made the same mistake myself before on a previous track day.
  10. For £300 you won't get anything other than some cheap cr*p chinese exhaust off eBay. An extra £100 though and your in the Cobra exhaust system price range which a lot of people have & like. You could always check out the for sale section on here though to see if you can find a nice second hand exhaust. Some examples; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/85346-350z-hks-style-true-dual-exhaust-system/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/85045-scorpion-exhaust/ Good luck again.
  11. Forget electric chainsaws imo for anything thicker than an inch btw.
  12. Hey Tom, have a good read through here; http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/56-exhaust/ So many options and it's all personal taste imo plus what might break your bank might not even bother others so you really need to let people know your budget. Also there are loads of videos of exhausts on Youtube and on here but then again they all sound different depending on what camera they've been recorded on, what speakers they're played through and what your hearings like. Tarmac Sports customer exhaust videos; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/60920-tarmac-sportz-customer-exhaust-videos-thread/ Good luck.
  13. I know you need long sleeves on when your on the track but weren't you sweating in that jacket? Shades look cool though.
  14. I know that but then it's much better imo when the pictures are on here for all to see easily. Put a link in a few of the posts anyway if people want to follow them.
  15. Very nice Chris. You must be pleased with the way that looks and I bet it's awesome to drive with the Vortech charger.
  16. Welcome aboard. Plenty of info on here to help with any problems or questions. Best place to start looking; http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/18-350z-faq/ ...and here; http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/12-350z-technical/
  17. Cheers glrnet. It's what happens when your up at 2am odd full of caffeine ~ just couldn't stop myself searching google for awesome Zeds to drool over.
  18. Great pictures all. Really enjoying seeing what fun I missed.
