  1. No you will need to buy a separate connector as I listed in my post above to make the steering wheel controls work with the new head unit. Edit: Beaten to it. What Jonathan said. Follow his guide and you should be ok.
  2. Ye it's after , to be fair wasn't to bad just replaced the wing, resprayed front and back bumpers and sorted diffuser, splitter out , and reprinted back wing. I thought I might aswell have bonnet painted at the same time í ½í± Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Glad to see it looking good as new again. Enjoy it.
  3. ^^ What he said. Sometimes the headlamp washers though don't work in cold weather. Mine where sticking during the winter but working fine now so maybe when the MOT was carried out it was something similar?! would be great if that was the case. The brake lines are DIYable if you can bleed the system correctly afterwards and shouldn't cost too much to do. Lot's of options for braided brake lines available from the traders on here like Clark Motorsports above. Not sure what the problem is with the engine covers? would need to see it really to know what they are on about. Good luck.
  4. Nightmare crb. Can't help sorry but good luck getting it sorted.
  5. If I could dip things at home in a bath then my whole interior would pretty much be done by now. Look's great Rocky.
  6. Welcome aboard dwallis. Can't go wrong with Clark Motorsports or any of the other traders on here tbh. They treat us very well. If you're going for big power though like with FI in the future then definitely consider getting the best clutch/flywheel combo now that can handle the power you'd hope to be getting. Would be a real pita and expense doing it twice.
  7. Keeping the steering wheel controls is all about the wiring connector unit/loom you get I believe. Have a read here; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/15611-what-you-need-to-upgrade-your-350z-audio-system/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/55445-wiring-in-a-new-hu-this-guide-may-help/ I'd recommend a Pioneer DVD/CD double din head unit. Plenty available for that budget depending on what other features you'd like. I have the AVH-1400DVD which is great but an older model now. Believe the more recent version is the AVH-X2600BT.
  8. No need to apologize bam. Makes your guess even more impressive.
  9. Great work really coming along nicely. Did you lacquer the rear strut brace cover after dipping or just leave it as it was? Looks good either way.
  10. All I'll say is better the devil you know. It will cost you money to get those things fixed but not as much as a new car might cost. The clutch I wouldn't worry about unless you've been abusing it heavily. Mines still on it's OEM clutch as far as I can tell (no receipts for change in service history) and I'm on 90K odd. No idea if a remap would cure the pinking but yes they aren't cheap at around £400 first time around. Best off sorting the more immediate problems imo first.
  11. There are a lot of things Nissan could have done to the Zed to make it better but if they did we'd have nothing to mod and make them more unique to ourselves.
  12. Good to know. Definitely a mod I'd like to do one day.
  13. I have that exact aerial too, much prefer it. Like you say would be better for it not to be visible at all! +2. My Zed has the same one and like you say Andy the reception is fine.
  14. From the Cougar Store, Yellow coolant hose set made by Venair; http://cougarstore.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_11&products_id=46&zenid=bcaa60565806895c2c0f2d2ff1b32aee
  15. From what it says in his signature I'd say he has all of those bar the decats.
