  1. Well I'm screwed only got a 1'' You're still talking about aerials right?! ....or has the topic moved on to something completely different.
  2. Nice. Link: http://www.glasspolishshop.com/compounds/Glass_sealant
  3. Looks great MCook. Much better without the dealer/Mitsi branded plate surrounds. Personally I'm with jollyranchers and prefer the front number plates mounted on the plinths but I know we are generally in the minority with that thinking.
  4. Ooohh, ..coming soon by parello possibly sporting BMW alloys...
  5. Agree with that ~ had both and currently have the 453's on my Zed. Used in all conditions bar snow so far and I'm very pleased with the way they perform. Grip level is good and consistent plus they don't feel dangerous in the wet which inspires confidence.
  6. Jealous wa**ers or just f**king idiots. Years ago when I had a 1992 Rover 214si I had parked it outside my mates new flat which just happened to be on a main high street just 100 yards down from the local pub. Came out after a nice evening chilling out with him to find some f**king idiot had kicked my d/s wing mirror the wrong way. Luckily I was able to fix it but just what was the point? Not exactly a nice car to be jealous of or anything so no idea what goes through the mind of some of these planks. Either way try not to let it bring you down.
  7. That's good news though. Could be a fair few of us DE owners interested if the price is right.
  8. Great pictures sexycrayola ~ gutted I couldn't go to this.
  9. That's cool. Definitely use a sealant so that the restoration lasts. I might have to get some of that stuff myself so good head's up thanks.
  10. Great pictures and some lovely Zeds there from some varying years.
  11. Does it not list the fuses on the lid? Something like this?... I have never looked at mine so not sure whether it has a diagram layout of the fuses or not but most vehicles usually do.
  12. Brilliant, thank you for the quick reply! I was worried it was on the inside but in that case I will get it sorted asap. When you do it get some masking tape to go all the way around your headlights to protect the surrounding paint work from the sanding pads and mop with PlastX. Also make sure you follow the instructions about using the sanding pads to the letter and use them in the correct order. e.g. Roughest grade>smoothest grade. If you can as well buy some UV protection to go on top of the headlights afterwards to keep it from getting UV damaged again for as long as possible.
  13. Yep that's exactly how my headlights used to look before I did my restoration on them. See below quote on how I fixed mine.
  14. Stop it Dave. God this makes me want to go on a track day right now so bad. Must resist till my Zeds all ready though.
  15. I would mate but honestly I think I should wait till I at least get it all fitted.
  16. Have a look on Youtube ~ there might be a four seater bike engined version.
  17. No probs and it's always good to spread the knowledge. Much cheaper from eBay than Nissan Dealer prices for sure.
  18. Seen that you had that for sale but £40's a bit steep for me at the mo plus I haven't even got mine fitted yet. You wanna straight swap for a standard Vortech K&N air filter?!.
  19. Surprised at the price tbh. I'd rather one of those bike engined versions though if I was going to buy one of them. Link:
  20. Got the right belt though at home (6PK2005) and I can get the same belt locally or from eBay easily enough now I know what it is. Might buy a spare with any money I make just in case.
  21. That Jaguar Cougar looks very cool Andy but also very dangerous if it was to roll over. Bet it was a thrill to drive & looks well made.
  22. Just put two items up for grabs on eBay if anyone's interested on here.
