  1. That's interesting to know. My mother is the only one in our family who can speak welsh ~ I never picked it up in the schools and dropped learning it once I reached comprehensive as it was effecting my french lessons. it obviously affected your english as well Don't know what you mean? Lol.

  3. Love Ferrari's but that "white wall" old Porsche is very cool.
  4. Was going to ask about that Graham ~ not his title but more the spelling of it. "Tyre" is the British English way of spelling it, ...."Tire" is the American English way of spelling it. Edit: or was it a take on him being the "fatigue guru" How do you spell it in welsh though? How should I know I was born in Yorkshire and don't speak that "gobble de gook" welsh language.
  5. ^^ Look's good in green. Hope you get it sorted though.
  6. Happy Birthday and hope all goes well at Trax.
  7. That's no way to treat any car, let alone a Zed.
  8. Yep I know exactly the kind of idiot he is ~ same as my old boss. My old boss who had a 2001 Audi S3 reckoned he knew a lot about cars & modding them. Takes me out one day in his S3 when we had to pick up some paint supplies and what does he do? Redlines his car in 1st, 2nd & 3rd from the first set of traffic lights we came to even though I could see that not even his coolant temperature gauge had started to move yet let alone the oil temp. Literally started 30 seconds earlier from cold (and it's a turbo car!). Think he was hoping I'd be impressed or something by this but I wasn't as.... The car was not warmed up correctly. We where on a public road & not a drag strip. My Zeds definitely quicker.
  9. Pmsl ~ thanks for that BBK. GT4 Zed was selling an excellent set of Teins with EDFC ~ if you're interested best give him a PM to see if he still has them. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/87561-kw-v3-coilovers/
  10. Another forum!!!!!! How long has this being going on! Link:
  11. I was just going to say what Kyle said ~ check by the flexi joints if you have them on the Y pipe. Also if it's been blowing for a while you may even notice black sooty deposits around the area making it easier to spot.
  12. Tigerseal should do it ~ never used it myself but have heard it's good for bonding panels & trim. Epoxy resin is my usual go to for bonding things together. Whatever you do I'd scuff up the surfaces that are going to be bonded together to help them adhere properly. Can't see any harm in scuffing up the bumper paint when the diffuser will hide it especially if you're happy it's going to be a permanent fixture. I'd maybe use some self tapping screws or bolts as well in areas where they won't be seen especially if you're worried about the diffuser coming off.
  13. Cool and hopefully it will all be sorted after the remap. Fingers crossed for you.
  14. It's a Nissan, not a Datsun. Still looks great and hope it's running better for you now, ...can't be long left till your remap.

  16. Welcome aboard Steve. The 350Z was designed with a staggered tyre set up ~ meaning the rear tyres are wider than the fronts. The width of the alloy makes no difference to this and the only difference it does make is with the overall weight of the alloy and what tyre width you can fit on it. Personally I'd go with the 19x8.5" fronts and 19x9.5" rears just because I prefer to use a wider alloy on the rear. The alloys/tyres I currently run are 19x9.5" (245/35/19) front and 19x10.5" (275/35/19) rear both with ET20. Michelin Pilot Super Sports (MPSS) are regarded as the best tyre for the Zed by the majority so that's what I'd put on them if you can afford to. Mitz from the Cougar Store helped me when choosing my alloys which I purchased from him ~ worth asking him via PM (private message) what he thinks imo and even worth asking him if he can get those alloys for you possibly cheaper. Cargo Net

..Or if you're not fussed on a genuine Nissan one then I believe some others have used cargo nets from various other vehicles like Peugeot etc. A lot cheaper than the OEM versions although not as good a fit at times depending on what you're using it to stop sliding around in the boot. Can be found easily on eBay and all you need to make a note of is the size (length/width) so that the hooks will connect up with the loops in the 350's boot.
  18. I have moaned about cyclists on here too, but if the thought of me 20 years ago getting off my bike and pushing it along a pacement then getting back on it winds you up that much then you seriously have an issue There is a big difference between getting wound up with cyclists who ride through red lights or cycle on the pavement and someone that dismounts and walks their bike along slowly isn't there? What law is a cyclist breaking by dismounting and walking their bike along a pavement You need to read what I wrote again. Did say; not you Dave, never mentioned a law being broken whilst pushing your bike on the pavement and never mentioned it winding me up. The cyclist this morning was frustrating myself and other drivers definitely. Plus I'm sure the woman he nearly hit on the pavement was less than impressed. Just selfish behaviour imo. Been held up before on the way to work by cyclists on the road but as they stopped at red lights I can hardly complain about them as they have the right to be on the road.
  19. I used to jump off and walk my bike past lights when I cycled to Uni, can't see an issue with that really, but I never cycled on the pavement Might as well ride on the pavement all the time in that case and do all the drivers a favour by keeping the roads clearer. Just saying. That doesn't make any sense It makes sense ~ all these cyclists that do that are breaking the law. Maybe not you Dave "technically" when you pushed your bike past the red lights but still it's the same rubbish. Cyclists choosing what laws they're going to follow. Might as well just ride on the pavements all the time, thus freeing up the roads for the drivers and pi**ing off the pedestrians instead.
