Fixed that for you Flex, ....not sure Grundy goes the other way.

I'm starting to think......

Difficult to say really. Obviously having your own place is the best way to go but it depends on what you can afford (one room sh*tty bed sit would be no fun), what benefits there are to staying at home (like keeping the Zed) and whether ultimately you think it is the right time for you to do it. If it was me I'd grin & bear it if you can ultimately saving as much as you can for your own place one day and of course spending on getting the Zed running. If you do decide to move out then I'd try if possible to rent with someone else, ..preferably a young blonde or brunette girl who likes being friends with benefits if you get what I mean. ;)

What can I add that hasn't already been said, ...sweet. Anyone mention that dodgem aerial yet?

Would say welcome but you've been here longer than me. Maybe I'll just say welcome back to Zed motoring.

Welcome aboard. -
Has to be the Nismo one for me out of those Hooch. The other ones just look too plain, ...even the first one. Have you tried Clark Motorsport as I seem to remember a thread from them about getting accessory parts so maybe they could get the Nismo gear knob?!.

Did any of you hear about that guy in Lincolnshire that got caught speeding at 113mph past a group of learner motorbikers? He was found guilty of careless driving, got a 6 month ban and had to pay costs of £815. Quite lenient really. ^^ Fair enough ~ don't know why but I love cars with them on. Makes me think of American muscle cars I think.

Just had a look and couldn't see any brushed silver but I noticed this one which caught my eye. Link: http://www.epracing.co.uk/product.asp?strParents=&CAT_ID=0&P_ID=399&strPageHistory=search&numSearchStartRecord=6 Any good?

They look great, ..especially like the duck tail spoiler. Are you going to put the black rear window louvers on again? Not to everyone's tastes but I do like the look of those rear window louvers.

You lucky sob Dan, ...very jealous. Sounds incredible.

Regarding the finisher at the bottom of the gear knob I got one years ago from Demon Tweeks to fit a Momo gear knob. Link: http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performance/gear-shaft-sleeves/richbrook-aluminium-gear-shaft-sleeves Lot's of knobs on there too : http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performance/gear-knobs Used to have a Skunk2 billet gear knob in my Type R which was great. Lovely weight to it. Blox gear knobs look pretty good too if you're after some colour. Currently Hooch in my Zed I have a 6 speed gear knob that is from a Nissan Primera (I've been informed). Looks great imo though.

Gayest sounding post I have ever heard on any forum ever. ROFL.

Any of those that are lit up in that picture?
-
Firstly where was the light? If it was at the bottom of the Rev counter then it's the shift light ~ like below. Lights up at the optimum moment to indicate you should change gear. Also can be set for different rpm levels to indicate when you want to shift gear.

This fits on the outside of the helmet and is a communication device longsh07. This what it could have been?
-
^^ Looking forward to that then. Great camera position too btw.

Just coincidence I'd wager.

Loved the videos Stu.

Ok I'll try to enlighten you. The exhaust system ~ this is such a personal taste item as you will want it to look good but more importantly sound the way you like it. Also it all depends on your budget. At the lesser budget end of the scale there are exhaust systems like the Cobra system which start from around £390/400 and at the higher end there are systems like the Motordyne which will set you back around £1500 odd. Link to the Cougar Store: http://cougarstore.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_10&sort=20a&page=1&zenid=bcaa60565806895c2c0f2d2ff1b32aee Link to Tarmac Sportz: http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/products.aspx?CategoryId=32850911-9f8a-43e4-a5fc-24678e254d1d Both of the above linked shops are member traders on here so look out for forum discounts from them or group buys. Personally I have an Invidia Gemini full exhaust system which I bought from Tarmac Sportz ~ this is a true dual exhaust system. Also if changing your exhaust system you may want to think about changing from the OEM catalytic converters to aftermarket HFC's (High Flow CAT's) or DE-CAT's. Both of these will flow more gases than the OEM CAT's for more performance, be louder and also lighter in weight. Both available from CS or Tarmac. The spacer (for the inlet plenum) ~ it increases power & torque by increasing the volume of the inlet plenum over standard. The plenum fyi is the large grey part on top of the engine which divides the air into the cylinders from the air filter intake. I have a Horsham Developments plenum spacer which works great and doesn't cost a lot either. Link: http://www.h-dev.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=78_169_293_472_479&products_id=25052 But if you like pretty things then Wasso a member trader on here can usually sort you out with a plenum spacer in a pretty colour if that's your thing (they do look fantastic tbh ). Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/71728-fsbatch-3-custom-anodised-plenum-spacers-170/ Filter ~ the general consensus is that the standard airbox with a performance panel filter is best for performance, ...especially when used with the 2006 airbox conversion kit. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/86240-new-batch-2006-airbox-conversion-kit-interest-list/ Panel filter wise it's up to you (basically all do the same thing after all). K&N, Cosworth, Piper & more available. But there is no reason why you can't have an air induction kit just for a bit more show under the bonnet or more noise. Lot's go for just a Pop charger (cone filter) as they are fairly cheap but you can also get much better induction kits depending on how much you want to spend. I have a Stillen air induction kit which is around £248 from Tarmac Sportz as I wanted an induction kit that offered similar heat protection to the cone filter as the OEM rather than it being more exposed to engine temperatures as an open cone filter is even with the heat shields. Link: http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/products.aspx?CategoryId=dd876c45-6d4a-41df-bc25-7c19903fe703 When you do start looking at getting the UpRev done as I said it's best to make sure you're done with all those type of mods as any change afterwards and you will need it remapped to get the most from your mods. Horsham Developments, Abbey Motorsports, TDi North and Rs Tuning are all popular respected venues for an UpRev. Hope that helps. -
