  1. Darren, they are dent and corrosion free fella They are on ebay at the moment.
  2. Darren are you sure that's the highest the crane goes? Looks remarkably similar to mine Also selling my chrome bumpers and overriders, wondering if you want first dibs on the overriders?
  3. I'm going to run without for now and see how I like it. Then put it back on and make a decision
  4. Well the Carbon parts arrived from California. Purchased on Monday arrived by Friday, fantastic service! Super happy with the parts and the look of the car. Now for low and wide Parts Fitted Carbon Duck Tail Spoiler Carbon Front Bumper Carbon Rear Bumper Poly Front Air Dam Parts Still To Be Fitted Carbon Bolt On Arches
  5. Yeah it's in great nick, I'll get you a photo. As for price I've no idea what it's worth. (Got the rear bumper as well)
  6. I've got carbon bumpers coming to replace the chrome ones
  7. Well the Datsun got a full wet sand detail and came out STUNNING! Dodgy US respray came out really well! It's no where near flawless but moves the respray down the list of jobs to do.
  8. Not guilty, the only modification the supra had when I got it!
  9. Yeah Aberdeen fella and wheel choice at the moment will be wide ass Watanabes
  10. And as you've guessed my supra is my other toy! Stock 6speed manual 2jz running bpu so around 400bhp. Owned it for the last 6 years and give it absolute death.
  11. Hey all, I signed up for hints and tips with the other 240z project but a few asked about mine so thought I'd put a thread together. It's a 1970 Datsun 240z, 4 speed manual, US import from California. The paintwork is horrendous and it needs the carb re-jetted and set up properly as ran like a dog but it still got me 600 miles from Guildford to Aberdeen with only a few roadside bodges Plans are not to everyones liking in terms of low and wide but it's what i've bought the car for so it'll be happening! Immediate Plans Re-jet carbs and get running perfect Seats/Harnesses/Cage Lowered Wide Ass Wheels Carbon bolt on arches Carbon duck tail spoiler Front AirDam lip Future Plans Engine swap - LS1 or 2JZ Full Respray - Dark gunmetal of some sort Re-trimmed Interior Anyway time for photos A few jobs completed over the last few weeks. De-bumpered the rear Bought a new set of wheels ready for when the cars a little lower. You'll see from the photos that it doesn't sit quite right being higher. Removed all the AC as it wasn't working or even connected! More room now for a new rad and electric fan kit. Next - Fit the seats and harnesses, get some coilovers made and get the fuel tank welded up
  12. Welcome along are you a member on the Zclub? How do you know Pete? Would be nice to see your car. Do you have it UK registered yet? I'm an Aberdeen car friend, i'll start a new thread in here so I dont clog your thread up
  13. Clarkie (White Zed) sent me to this very thread to sign up. I've just bought a 240z and undertaking a very similar project! I'll be watching with interest! Mines a stock 1970 240z 4 speed manual cali import.
