I know that but as Zedd mentioned "fiber" is the American English version but if that's what you want to use as an excuse then fair enough. Anyway I'm off out now to check under the hood of my Zee. Going to clean my headers, check the rotors and also remove something from my trunk. Yee ha. -
Well smart a** Hugh it is constantly changing as both Saturn & our planet Earth are moving through space. But google states it is approximately 746 million miles away.

It is pretty cold here still. Checked today late in the afternoon when I popped over to Newport Road & it was 5 degrees. Been zero and 1 degree for most of last week when I left for work in the mornings. -
Welcome aboard Richard. It's all personal taste regarding air filters/intakes and exhausts etc. You won't see major gains and will need an UpRev (remap) to see any power improvements. Basically to perk up the performance a little you're looking at: Good service. E.g: Replace oil/plugs etc if not already in good shape. Performance panel filter/air induction kit*. Plenum spacer (lot's of choice from: Horsham Developments spacer/Motordyne spacer/Wasso spacer etc) Example: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/71728-fsbatch-4-custom-anodised-plenum-spacers-170/ HFC (High Flow Cats) or De-Cats. Full Cat to back exhaust system. UpRev. *Most people regard the standard air box with an uprated performance panel filter as the better performance upgrade in comparison to an air induction kit although the latter obviously adds a nice bit of engine bling as well as increased noise in most cases. Also if you stick with the standard air box have a look at the 2006 conversion kit: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/86240-new-batch-2006-airbox-conversion-kit-interest-list/ UpRev tuner (although there are others): http://www.h-dev.co.uk/index2.php?page=350z_mapping Two very good registered traders on here that can sort you out with basically anything you need for the Zed are Tarmac Sportz & the Cougar Store. The Cougar Store: http://cougarstore.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1&zenid=bcaa60565806895c2c0f2d2ff1b32aee Tarmac Sportz: http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/nissan-350z.aspx Both are in the traders section on here ( http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/93-professional-traders/ ) as well as a whole host of other excellent traders. Anymore questions just ask.

If you have some interior trim removal tools it might make it a bit easier so you can lift the back up enough to get some fingers under for a good grip. Here's a good guide in case you're following a different one: http://liljerk.morpheus.net/350Z/dash_removal/ Maybe double check you've undone all the screws as Zedd mentioned.

Fibre* It's in your signature btw ("Tarmac Sportz carbon fiber diffusers"). Everybody makes mistakes. -
Good progress then Andy, ...you'll be finished by, what, next weekend?!

^^ Look's good. ...And yes, washed mine today. Under the arches, behind the fuel filler flap, rear exhaust box and jammed my hands between the spokes of my alloys to get all the way around the alloys inside edge. So clean as a whistle for at least one day. -
Yea I'll solve one at a time first í ½í¸„í ½í± My guess is the white part is the non return valve ? Yes you're right that's it. Let us know how you get on.

Obviously without hearing it the noise could be anything but, ...it could be the "clicking axle fault" that quite a few 350's have suffered with. It is a fairly easy fix though from what I've read. Never had that issue myself but here are some threads related to what I'm talking about. Have a read & see what you think. Very cool Ian. Hope he gets it fitted in something better than a boat. Just want to see what it could do on a road vehicle. -
Sorry about ruining your iPhone experience then. Whoops. Lol it's just a work mobile mate, battered cracked work tool no wonder there is a spider in there :-) That's cool then. I know some people nowadays go mental over phones, ...especially Apple phones so I'm glad you're not freaking out over it. Still takes a good photo even with the dead spider making a photobomb appearance each time.

Lovely Zed. -
Great bit of progress Ian. I actually quite like that gold leaf especially as it is functional considering the temperatures that turbo's can reach. Oh and great job on modifying that subframe.
-
Is there a dead spider or something stuck to the lens of your camera jimmy? It's on every picture although has moved around on the last one but does look like a dead curled up little spider. Plate looks ok and not bad for £200.
-
Great stuff Pete and glad it's been so good to you.

I'm sensing a theme with your pet naming Will.

Good man, ...the hardtop is the only way to go I think. Look's so much better. Lucky sob. Made for life then now definitely.

Also just noticed you said the back isn't working either but you can hear the motor going. I know there is a non return valve for that one as well but not sure where that is sorry. The non return valve for the rear may have failed too or could even be a pipe come off or could just be blocked so I'd try to get the fronts fixed first then investigate the rear one further. One problem at a time as they say.
