  2. Yep when I got my catch blinged by Mark he did mention i may need to adjust if i fitted a slam panel - luckily was OK
  3. Must admit I was conscious of putting miles on my Zed at first but I bought it to drive it not look at it or keep the mileage low so the next person gets the benefit. I do have a company car for work but weekends/holidays is all Zed
  4. I'm over again end of Dec. grabbed a few Zed bits last trip as well but seems to be all about food. I normally end up down Arab Street smoking Shisha !
  5. Your biased !! Did you know it costs the equivalent of about £30,000 to even own a car in SG ? thats the permit - cars extra!
  6. Saw this little beauty last trip
  7. There's nowt so queer as folk !
  8. If its stupid and it works - it ain't stupid

  9. Working on this with Squee (Sarah) as she's in the Rag Trade so all good feedback and intend to follows same protocols as regards traders so conscious not to push to hard but the Tarmac style was in my thoughts as a poss template As to the charity - have proposed CRY - Cardiac Risk in the Young http://www.c-r-y.org.uk but will do a separate post on that in the coming weeks once all confirmed and Mad November is over !
  10. Have mooted on the idea getting some T shirts made up for Wales 2015 So question is would attendees be interested and would you want to go for a bog standard T or something a little better like a polo shirt. Something simple like event logo, club logo or more elaborate with forum handle and a few traders graphics etc Grateful for any feedback from either end of spectrum ayes or noes before I progress or can it
  11. Depends on your budget really but never lose focus that the basics must come first so servicing/fluids/decent tyres etc Certainly +1 for a decent service as you dont want to be unleashing stuff if your base is not sound. My Zed was pretty much stock but first things were P3 service/once over check and uprev at Abbey, then gone for looks overs performance. So full interior retrim/carbon dipping as I spend most of the time in the car so stands to reason that my priority, then a set of Rays/spacers ,few body work bits and finally engine bay tart up. Waiting for the bank balance to recover before next mods which will be more performance related so likely HFC's then Dyno Simple cheap mod ? - change your bulbs for LED's - instant improvement and very cheap especially interior ones
  12. Got pulled for running US style plates/smaller letters - had originals in car so was made to change at roadside then let go. Also know of members that got £100/3 points for same - So you play --- you pay Be warned!
  13. Not at all. Son went to Oxford and it may get you on the list but he's also commented that experience seems to be more valuable. It also depends heavily on what vocation the degree is in as in some cases it just a stamp in the book of life you partied for 3 years. I opted not to go to Uni and joined up in a post Falklands War moment of patriotic calling and did full career. I did go to Uni when demobbed but again it was the experience future employers craved not the qualification. My daughter did actually work at Uni as she was on NHS bursary for midwifery so when not in classroom was out on the wards - gaining experience. I have conducted many interviews with graduates and to be honest I don't really give a monkeys about qualifications, whats important to me is can the do the job and will they fit in.
  14. Outdoor wear shop Blacks is doing 15% off your first online order
  15. Seen Metallica and AC/DC at Wembley. No probs at all with the sound.
  16. Heres the forum post http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/1648-the-differences-spec/
  17. Scratch the Brembos only myth - mine is JDM and were fitted pre import as optional extra along with a few other bits. A foglight must be fitted by UK Law so its going to have one of those as well !
  18. There's a good post in the differences of JDM v UK Spec - As a quickie Have a look at the sunglasses bin as there are 2 buttons on there in Japanese also to the lower right side of the steering column theres a small button that controls the dip on the mirrors when you reverse thats import only finally the triple gauge does not have a clock function when scrolling through ie HH:MM
  19. ELM 327 is the one I got - I got both the BT and WIFI versions - My Zed is a JDM so can only get the BT one working on an Android app. The other one works fine on my Work Civic and I use the Dashboard App through my iPhone
