  1. Hi , my zed has fabric seat covers, the passenger seat has a small burn in it and both are looking a bit tired. Can anyone suggest somewhere to get: A. decent and well fitting covers B.decent repair and renovation of existing seat covers Or C. Replacement seats -Not new but both in decent condition, all the ones I've seen are well worn to say the least. I'm South of Derby, any thoughts appreciated.
  2. Perhaps bizz could try this in his drift car when it's built, now that would be worth seeing!
  3. When I first got mine the back end would step out at the first hint of rain/damp, the tyres were fine for tread but a c**p brand, changed them for Continentals specifically to improve wet grip and now unless I do something daft the car is a joy even in heavy rain. Don't just look at tread depth make sure the tyres are good quality and get a geo at the same time. Enjoy the zed.
  4. Lexx, Fair point re post title but just how much info can one put in a title.
  5. You can still have it centred, just full size, I don't see it ruining the look and £100 every time you get stopped soon stops being funny! Just found out the hard way that fixed penalty also gone up to £100 the fine is worse than the points
  6. Distance not too important, I will just tell the boss she can't drink!!
  7. Would love to come up for this, the boss is reluctant to leave the kids to their own devices for two nights, is it ok to just come up just for sat/sun? If so (and being well over 30 & also liking luxuries a little to much) can you suggest a b&b or travel lodge/ premier inn type place nearby?
  8. Bounty bar, Looks good, any probs fitting? What extras did you need and what android phone are you using?
  9. Like the "Z" logo, I was thinking of a black Z rather than silver so I don't need any background. I do know this is illegal but it's not like mis placing actual letters and numbers so happy to take a risk.
  10. Hi, looking to swop original head unit, must have android connectivity, blue tooth, run sat nav from phone or internal (prefer phone) usb input to charge phone, I like touch screen but its not essential. Looking to preferably spend no more than £400 and easy to install, also advice on necessary wiring kit or mods would be appreciated. Finally, is it worth selling original on ebay and if so any ideas what its worth, everthing works.
  11. Mitz at CS fitted a new clutch last week and in the process had to remove a heat shield because it was hanging off, the clutch is great now but the biggest improvement is to the sound the exhaust makes from within the car, an unintentional "mod" but the sound is well worth it. Thanks again Mitz, great job and fair prices, see you soon.
  12. Hi, I'm looking to replace my number plates and want to put "Z" logo on the edge where people put the flags etc. Also wondered about the 350z uk logo along the lower edge. Does anyone know where I can get useable versions of these and any suggestions of places around Derby who would be able to make them up? Thanks
  13. Until I got my zed I probably spent six hours in total washing all my cars I have ever owned, ( work car goes to car wash once a month or so) now my neighbours laugh at me every time the wash kit comes out but I agree with gsexr - its therapy and you cant go driving a dirty zed!

  15. Sounds like a good day (or two) out. The only problem is at least two of my children would want to go! Where is it?
  16. Welcome, It wont stop there, Zeditis will take over! first it's wheels then the mods start!! Enjoy the zed!
  17. I think it's also a height thing, I'm 6'2" and find my head brushes the roof no matter how I sit, I'm not fortunate enough to have leather seats but mine are perfectly comfortable even for my "slim"!?!? Build, but have to agree about Volvo and Alfa seats. Current work car is a volvo and I do 1, 000+ miles a week in that with no probs.
  18. The trip from Leeds to Leicester will be well worth it, fair prices and always helpful.
  19. V lounge in Derby centre, thai fish cakes are sublime quiet romantic setting and live music/singer/ comedy. Staff very friendly and food definitely under priced, meal for two around £50
  20. Lrf4n Like that, simple but stunning. Ideal back drop for any and all sponsorship. 350z .com included
  21. Hi Jehuty, I like the GT R's but they are very much the same as most other Zeds and I was hoping to find something a little different but not looking for anything outrageous or to bling if that makes any sense.
  22. Agree with others, price seems on high side, also for someone's dream car you would have thought they could get the engine size right, looks good though and def lots of life left in it at that mileage. Bottom line, if you like it and think it's worth the money why not go for it?
  23. Go with your heart, you know both cars so which will make you grin most. If you don't need it to commute then the only thing that matters is which will give most pleasure. It's taken me many years and approx 40 cars and bikes to find a "toy" I can afford that makes me grin every time I go out but when the magic wears off it will be gone! Until then zeditis rules!
  24. Excellent drift and love those eyes, made my family laugh!!
  25. If you do online / mobile banking you can transfer funds almost instantly, it says up to 2 hrs but has always appeared in recipients account within minutes. Some banks need a varification call (i.e. Lloyds) so make sure you have mobile signal. Hope you like the car when you get there and all goes smoothly.
