  2. Sounds like a good day (or two) out. The only problem is at least two of my children would want to go! Where is it?
  3. Welcome, It wont stop there, Zeditis will take over! first it's wheels then the mods start!! Enjoy the zed!
  4. I think it's also a height thing, I'm 6'2" and find my head brushes the roof no matter how I sit, I'm not fortunate enough to have leather seats but mine are perfectly comfortable even for my "slim"!?!? Build, but have to agree about Volvo and Alfa seats. Current work car is a volvo and I do 1, 000+ miles a week in that with no probs.
  5. The trip from Leeds to Leicester will be well worth it, fair prices and always helpful.
  6. V lounge in Derby centre, thai fish cakes are sublime quiet romantic setting and live music/singer/ comedy. Staff very friendly and food definitely under priced, meal for two around £50
  7. Lrf4n Like that, simple but stunning. Ideal back drop for any and all sponsorship. 350z .com included
  8. Hi Jehuty, I like the GT R's but they are very much the same as most other Zeds and I was hoping to find something a little different but not looking for anything outrageous or to bling if that makes any sense.
  9. Agree with others, price seems on high side, also for someone's dream car you would have thought they could get the engine size right, looks good though and def lots of life left in it at that mileage. Bottom line, if you like it and think it's worth the money why not go for it?
  10. Go with your heart, you know both cars so which will make you grin most. If you don't need it to commute then the only thing that matters is which will give most pleasure. It's taken me many years and approx 40 cars and bikes to find a "toy" I can afford that makes me grin every time I go out but when the magic wears off it will be gone! Until then zeditis rules!
  11. Excellent drift and love those eyes, made my family laugh!!
  12. If you do online / mobile banking you can transfer funds almost instantly, it says up to 2 hrs but has always appeared in recipients account within minutes. Some banks need a varification call (i.e. Lloyds) so make sure you have mobile signal. Hope you like the car when you get there and all goes smoothly.
  13. Ian, Sorry i cant make this date -got to work, hope one and all have a good time. Wouldnt it be a good idea to move this to upcoming events to make it more visible?
  14. Sempiternal, I have checked in on this thread regularly, not being familiar with wolfrace wheels I wanted to seek out thoughts, and all opinions are valid, even if others dont agree with them. Having only owned this car for a couple of months and having booked it to be wrapped I want to upgrade the wheels and am exploring various options, I'm not a bottomless pit of money otherwise I would have bought a 370z but not into buying cheap, as I initially said I have option to paint and take my time changing wheels. Thanks everyone for their posts, i will start a new thread once wrapped and wheels etc sorted.
  15. Thanks one and all for opinions, got car booked in with CS to replace clutch and he has some rims I will look at. Agree i dont want to spoil the look which is why i wont do anything until its been wrapped, then i can offer up different rims and see what suits. Once all done I will post results.
  16. Ok so my choice of wheel style is far from universally liked and I am taking them all in, but what about wolfrace as a company, if they are equally badly thought of I may have to put off until new year. Budget is tight cos i have already booked for wrap and a few other bits at £1500 and now need clutch at £1k from CS but keen to improve on oem wheels asap.
  17. I've seen wolfrace assasin wheels in gun metal which I think will look good against my zed once its wrapped in Hexis bronze grey next month. Are wolfrace wheels any good and has anyone any views on speedy wheels? Again, i know it's my choice and budget affects the options i.e. i get what i pay for but i don't want inferior wheels, if i don't change my oem wheels i will get them painted but been quoted £250 for that and wheels are less than £600 Appreciate some views.
  18. Welcome, once you take the plung you wont regret it. Cosford was a good day, looking forward to seeing you with your own zed at next meet.
  19. Thanks guys, having attended the Cosford meet and seen so many zeds with spacers its clear the car looks better, but also now thinking my rims look pants anyway so may change them first.
  20. Cheers guys, It's been too many years since I worked on my own car, I thought it looked simple but just thought it worth a check.
  21. Cougar, do you ever sleep? ( really need to know your name!) Many thanks for the pics, are these stock items and are they as easy as they appear to fit? For someone with limited tools and no good place to work.
  22. Are there any handling improvements ( or disadvantages) with fitting spacers or are they fitted purely for the cosmetic benefit and from what I've read would I be right in limiting them to 20mm to avoid rubbing the arches. This pesky zeditis is going to drain my bank account over the coming few months i just know it, it starts small and creeps up all innocent like.
  23. 4re, ref your 13:45 I thought it was a prerequisite that all on here were sectioned for zeditis therefore your claim for immunity would require all slates to be wiped clean.
  24. Hornzee, surely thats proof you shouldn't take the missus out in the zed unless she is also suffering from zeditis. I also only seem to see other zeds when i'm working, and not in the zed, hopefully that will change this Sat at Cosford.
