Sempiternal, I have checked in on this thread regularly, not being familiar with wolfrace wheels I wanted to seek out thoughts, and all opinions are valid, even if others dont agree with them. Having only owned this car for a couple of months and having booked it to be wrapped I want to upgrade the wheels and am exploring various options, I'm not a bottomless pit of money otherwise I would have bought a 370z but not into buying cheap, as I initially said I have option to paint and take my time changing wheels. Thanks everyone for their posts, i will start a new thread once wrapped and wheels etc sorted.

Thanks one and all for opinions, got car booked in with CS to replace clutch and he has some rims I will look at. Agree i dont want to spoil the look which is why i wont do anything until its been wrapped, then i can offer up different rims and see what suits. Once all done I will post results.

Ok so my choice of wheel style is far from universally liked and I am taking them all in, but what about wolfrace as a company, if they are equally badly thought of I may have to put off until new year. Budget is tight cos i have already booked for wrap and a few other bits at £1500 and now need clutch at £1k from CS but keen to improve on oem wheels asap.

I've seen wolfrace assasin wheels in gun metal which I think will look good against my zed once its wrapped in Hexis bronze grey next month. Are wolfrace wheels any good and has anyone any views on speedy wheels? Again, i know it's my choice and budget affects the options i.e. i get what i pay for but i don't want inferior wheels, if i don't change my oem wheels i will get them painted but been quoted £250 for that and wheels are less than £600 Appreciate some views.

Thanks guys, having attended the Cosford meet and seen so many zeds with spacers its clear the car looks better, but also now thinking my rims look pants anyway so may change them first.

Cougar, do you ever sleep? ( really need to know your name!) Many thanks for the pics, are these stock items and are they as easy as they appear to fit? For someone with limited tools and no good place to work.

Are there any handling improvements ( or disadvantages) with fitting spacers or are they fitted purely for the cosmetic benefit and from what I've read would I be right in limiting them to 20mm to avoid rubbing the arches. This pesky zeditis is going to drain my bank account over the coming few months i just know it, it starts small and creeps up all innocent like.

4re, ref your 13:45 I thought it was a prerequisite that all on here were sectioned for zeditis therefore your claim for immunity would require all slates to be wiped clean.

Hornzee, surely thats proof you shouldn't take the missus out in the zed unless she is also suffering from zeditis. I also only seem to see other zeds when i'm working, and not in the zed, hopefully that will change this Sat at Cosford.

G.i.ginge, how did you get that low, i have 72% protected ncb with esure and am paying nearly £400 no points and £250 xs. Still thought that was good til I read your post.

I have three seperate cars insured and two years ago was daft enough to claim for a minor bump. If you are honest you need to advise insurers about all claims and yes it will affect your ncb across all policies. All my policies have 70%+ protected ncb and all policies withheld any additional ncb for that year. You dont actually lose any ncb in this example but if you dont have protected ncb you will lose some or all of it your policy should tell you how much ncb you lose for each claim if not protected.

Thanks for the opinions, been over to "pwpro" in Mansfield today they appear to have a good set up, his advice was they will flatten and primer affected areas then wrap. Quite like bronze grey from hexis they offer ten year guarantee and have quoted £1250 +vat and £250 to paint wheels black. Seen a Canadian 370Z online already done in this colour and am leaning heavily to this.

Thanks guys, I was thinking of changing colour to brownish orange, the nissan burnt orange is a bit to orange for my taste but I saw a nice Aston Martin Vanquish the other day that looked quite stunning. Coldel, Interesting you say it wont match up to existing paint, do you mean not as shiny or not as hard wearing?

Hi all, I know ultimately it's my choice but any thoughts welcome... I have a2006 silver 350z with more stone chips than i've had hot dinners, knowing silver is hard to match and having been seriously impressed by the posts on wrapping i'm torn between paint and wrap. How well does wrap stand up to stone chips etc? Do i still need to have stone chips addressed to stop dips showing through Should i just leave alone and have bonnet and bumper resprayed Neither option will be d.i.y. so any recommendations for firms to do the work in the Derby area would also be appreciated.
