  1. Looking forward to seeing the results next weekend, You must be so looking forward to a decent run out, bet it will feel strange at first. I hope you manage to get a few events in this year, even if just in prep for next season.
  2. Nick, You just know it has to be done! Good luck with the mods, at least you can learn from previous. I'm certain you will fall back in love once it becomes truely yours, and particularly after finding the limits again on your Europe drive.
  3. Adrian, That's not a write off, just give it to Andy for a few weeks/ months he's now fully versed in rebuilding bent Z's
  4. I told you im not doing anything to this one! Except slotted dics, ceramic pads, new brake lines, vinyl wrap roof, tint rear screen, lowering springs ......
  5. If the silicone hoses are still available i will have them. Can you pm me payment details.
  6. James, i'm certain Mark didn't mean anything by his comment, he is more than capable of doing this job himself if you see some of his work. Can i just confirm the £250 or £200 for four plus is to fit supplied halos and paint i.e. it doesnt include the cost of the actual halos, also is this price including them dismantling and rebuilding i.e. taking off bumper etc. I'm very interested in having this done but would really like to know the total fitted price including all necessary parts because i'm to lazy/scared to do any of this work myself Great group buy and great looking car!
  7. Nic, sorry to be off topic but did i miss you getting another 370? Good call, now all your modding can begin again but this time you will know what you want from the start!
  8. Chris, Thanks for the tein lowering springs, had them about three weeks but only just got car back on the road, had the geo redone today, looks great and initial impression is better handling but now really in need of spacers!
  9. Chris, Is this a sign of true love or what !?!?! Most of us would have taken that as the perfect excuse not to let the other half behind the wheel!!!8
  10. Nic, Just caught up with this thread, never a good story to read but really glad you were able to walk away resonably unscathed. Whatever you go for next i hope it brings you as much pleasure as modifying this has done. Dont rush to buy a replacement, you could always hire something for June. Keep us updated on whatever you do
  11. I love your perseverance, most would have given up at the first hurdle. But then most of us don't have the skills to fabricate something from scratch without some form of template. Keep up the good work and the posts. Ifor you post up when you are taking this on the track, I for one would come along.
  12. Congrats on selling this, when do we get to see what you are doing with your recent purchase? By the way still not had chance to try out new springs, still waiting for brake pad retaining pins so I can get back on the road!
  13. Looks good, sorry I missed you last weekend at the photo shoot, I should have got the Z shed to do my discs and pads !!! Still off the road awaiting pins. P.s. plus one for the bruiser cruiser!
  14. This build is looking really amazing, i bet you are itching to get back on the road! Make sure it's properly run in before your trip to Scotland so you can have maximum fun without having to worry.
  15. That blue suits the car, really impressive project, wish I had the skills to do something like this, can't wait to see it back from painting in whatever colour you decide!!
  16. After such a big excursion there were bound to be a few little issues arise, you are on the home straight now and as with the six million doller man you are rebuilding her bigger, better, stronger, faster !! well hopefully faster at least!
  17. Thanks Adrian, I was hoping to get back on the road this weekend, I guess that won't happen! Any thoughts who might have them on the shelf?
  18. Can you pm me,I am desperate for brake hardware kits for my 370, you have them listed, do you actually have them and if so can I collect in the morning
  19. Anyone know how to contact Adrian? Just been on his site and it looks like he has these listed, just pm'd him but not sure when he will read his pm, I will happily drive down in the morning if I can arrange things with him! (Only 2.5 hrs each way!!)
  20. Nissan want £120 per axle ! I think they have Dick Turpin working for them! Chris @Tarmac suggested Ewan at Clark motorsport so pm'd him and waiting a reply. Any other suggestions would be helpful, was going to Exeter for japfest photo shoot on Sunday, this looks very much in doubt now!
  21. I'm having discs, pads and lowering springs fitted and the pins holding pads are all seized and damaged, anyone know where I might be able to get some? Pref Midlands, waiting on Tarmac to get back to me. Any suggestions appreciated.
  22. Hi Chris, yes please, can I pick up as I want them for first thing Friday , I live in Hilton so only up the road.
  23. I've seen shorter queues on the M25 !!! Your neighbours must absolutely love you, six months of building work followed by all those "quiet" cars turning up at the same time !
  24. Bob, that really pulls everything together so well, as others have said, less is more on the interior, but it's not going to be so easy to keep changing your mind about some of the "extras" you are so fond of trying out. This really puts the ginger ninja to bed.
  25. Nic, "Without video it never happened" ha ha!! (Someone had to say it!) Nothing for it, you will have to book another track day. Glad you enjoyed yourself
