Silver 350Z turning off the A386 towards Bickleigh.

Get your eyes out the lens.... be a kid again..a proper one.
grumpyoldjanner replied to AMT's topic in Other Cars
Never understood it either. I don't get why people spend a fortune on tickets to live events (specially ones being covered on TV) to then spend the whole time watching it from behind a lens! Why not enjoy the moment live and record the highlights on TV for when you get home? -
Performance Driver Track Day - Saturday 22nd July 2017

Looking forward to it -
Looking good Think you made the right choice sticking with the silver wheels as well.

Hello from another Plymouth owner There are a few Zeds in Plymouth but not many soft tops though so will keep an eye out for yours. Give a wave if you see a silver coupe with a reg plate starting F1

Haynes International Motor Museum Meet 2/4/17
grumpyoldjanner replied to W8BGS's topic in Local Meets Across The UK
Have had one South West get together there back in Feb 2015. Think this was just after they started doing their breakfast meets. -
Walked past a blue 350z convertible in the Plymouth Life Centre carpark on the way to my zed Seeing more 350s in Plymouth then when I got mine 4 years ago but not seen this one before.

New member from Plymouth
grumpyoldjanner replied to Tuggles's topic in Introductions & Welcome Messages
Welcome from another Plymouth Z owner! Will keep an eye out for yours. Mine's a blade silver 04 model with a distinctive cherished number plate. Between it and the how few Zs there are around I can't go anywhere without being spotted! -
Thick as thieves ...... Or just Thick Thieves
grumpyoldjanner replied to d95gas's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Sounds like what my parents do, when ever they have something old/broken they want rid off they leave it in the front garden and its usually gone within 24 hours. Bizarrely, when they leave a note on it along the lines of 'free to a good home' it lasts longer! Guess stuff must be more fun if you've dishonestly appropriated it. -
If it was a Nismo it could be Shenley who lives the wrong side of the bridge! Not aware of any native red 370zeds in Plymouth.

As someone that works in one of the public sector areas she has ran into the ground as Home Secretary I can't say I am too excited about the prospect, although as mentioned, she is sadly the most credible candidate. Hopefully take at least a couple of years for her to sort out selling my job to G4S with the Brexit mess she has to sort out first

Spotted a couple of Zeds on the Saturday in the Launceston area. 1- White 370Z looked like a NISMO but only caught a glimpse of it as it drove past! A395 just outside Hallworthy. Didn't wave as wan't in the Zed at the time, was stuck in a Vauxhall Astra 2- Blue 350Z parked at the Kindred Spirits festival at North Petherwin.

Anyone else training for the London Marathon
grumpyoldjanner replied to TimC's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Entered the ballot but didn't get a spot. Ran the Bristol to Bath marathon last year and signed up for the Milton Keynes Marathon this year (supposed to be very flat ), which is the May Day bank holiday. Will probably do a second one later in the year as well, either Bristol to Bath again or Snowdonia! -
As a twin I'd say you've been blessed, my parents would probably disagree Not got any plans for this year really. Itched my zeditus a small amount last year with the standard mods: fitting of a plenum spacer, air intake and exhaust as well as having to replace the clutch. I now find myself trying to be a 'grown-up' and save for a mortgage deposit

Interested in the wheels as well if Roland Rat changes his mind

OEM 18" Wheels & Tyres Excellent Condition!
grumpyoldjanner replied to Sam Mcgoo's topic in 350z Parts For Sale
Interested, have sent you a message -
Did one in South Wales a couple of years ago, enjoyed it but it is pricey! Lots of similar and cheaper options about (that don't go for the brand name like tough mudder!). Supposed to be running the Bristol to Bath marathon at the end of October but been working to much O/T and not enough training recently. Then time to start planning next years challenges.

Conor's Night Blue 350z 'Build Thread'
grumpyoldjanner replied to CPhillips93's topic in Member Build Projects
There's a lot of chavs in their not very hot hatches in Plymouth who spend good money making their cars sound like that! Don't know why you complaining! -
Another disappointed public sector worker here. Although by the time the next general election rolls round I will probably be working for G4S once the wicked witch Theresa May has had her way. The Tories managed to get all three seats in the Plymouth area which is a little surprising given Plymouth's military history and the Tories determination to wreck the armed forces. Was close but the Conservatives beat Labour by about 600 votes in my constituency.

That would be me Did wave but didn't see you to the last minute so had almost driven past you by this point

After two years of Zed ownership finally getting round to a little bit of modding! Motordyne plenum spacer arrived yesterday and Weapon R Dragon air intake on order from the States. Communication from Adrian has been great keeping me up to date on the order, couldn't have asked for better service. As excited as a child in the build up to Christmas waiting for the air intake to make its way over here! Hopefully be a link to a build thread coming soon!!!!
-
Obviously the time of year to get Zeds MOT'd. Mine passed with no faults at the start of the month celebrated by buying a plenum spacer and air filter so really didn't save much £££££££!!!!

Swapped the battery over in my key and didn't have any problems :-)
