  1. Hypothetically it would only make a difference if when we leave then all trade deals and current and future already sealed deals in trade were cancelled. Even they are not stupid enough to do that, it would threaten their own economies. I happen to firmly believe that those who have the power to negotiate these things on both our and Europe's side are a bunch of lazy self-serving corrupt gits. I would have thought as I have already said, that those inter UK/Europe deals that are already in place that actually work will stay the same, they work, why bother changing them? This work for both sides of trade, we buy stuff from there as well as sell it and they need this trade as much as we do for their own economies, why would they risk us putting up barriers, or put barriers up to stop us selling stuff to their traders who resell within their markets driving their economies? It's pure scare tactics to claim any economic demise on the part of the UK.
  2. Sorry - The story's in a few that's just the first link that popped up
  3. That is the biggest load of codswallop ever. It's full of assumptions based on statistics designed to come to those conclusions. It's designed to scare those who are unsure about getting out into voting to remain the same. Honestly, if we leave nothing will change for the worse. They will look at the things that work and keep them. Why would any sane, intelligent person do anything else? The things that don't work will finally get addressed, something that will never happen if we don't get out. For F's sake yesterday they had Gordon Brown that renowned 'expert' telling us the same rubbish, come on, his record isn't exactly very good is it? The guy's an economic moron! 4. I to am of the opinion that migration is pretty much unimportant in the issue at hand. With my cynical head on I'd have said that it's being shouted about as being one of the main issues because of Mr Farage who is part of the Out camp. If the 'In' lot can persuade people that voting out is a vote for agreeing with someone they have already completely vilified in the media as being a racist then they get those votes. This despite Farage having more knowledge and experience of the EU at the sharp end than either of the top members of either of the official campaigns. Luckily so far they have failed to isolate by association, Farage has avoided any racist gaffes and as far as I have seen made some extremely good points in his own out campaign. I studied Business In The EEC at Uni in the 80's and was very pro Europe until we were taken deep into something we never signed up for. We did well with the EEC, not so well with the European Superstate. There's a lot, a real lot of ridiculous scare stories being spread, I can't believe it but I guess that's the way those in that kind of power look at the rest of us, as dim. I hope the majority are not and see through the bull and we get out of this terrible, corrupt waste of our money.
  5. Coming off the Chester road down towards Plumley, I'm at The Bee Farm - the Old Smithy on the corner every day 3 'til 6. Stop for a brew and a mini meet next time LoL
  6. Well to answer a couple of questions. The power weight ect is the same as the Toyota/Subaru GT86 thingy (20 years before this was made) but the FTO was FWD, not that you would notice, you could still encourage the back end out or a 4 wheel drift through the twists. It won some Japanese award for best handling car in its day. There were 3 engines, an 1800 4 pot and 2 V6's one with Mivec (Mitsubishi's answer to VTEC). There wasn't a lot you could actually do to free up more power. A decent full exhaust and popcharger and aircon delete added maybe 10/15% more but it was fast enough for its age. I was probably saved from being banned by the fact you could actually enjoy the screaming V6 without getting too far into license losing territory. Mine did amazing MPG, one trip up through Germany saw 41mpg @ a steady 108mph !! That's just on cam in fifth, amazing, it was a bit of a shock to come to my Zed where I get 12 - Amy with the light blue roadster had a famous (in FTO circles) green modded one called Kermit if I remember
  7. They are beautiful looking and sounding and go pretty well. There's a few around here I see regularly. Would I have one? No, I like my Zed, It's probably rarer (and less likely to break down or cost me a fortune if it did!!).
  8. Following on from the 'Best previous car' thread, I've not read through it all yet but seems a lot of us have come from FTO's. Just wondering how many Mine was a red '95 GPX Manual. Had it for 14 years of wonderful, trouble free, screaming V6 motoring until the subframe rusted away. Shame as the body and interior were pretty much perfect and the engine had only done 65000 Km mostly at 8500 RPM - So how many of us on here came from FTO's?
  9. The middle autobahn on the way down has a lot of derestricted parts (As in if you look on the map - going south ).
  10. Passed that place a few times on our way to RS Tuning in Kirchhaslach. It looks amazing and with a load of Zeds woooooo
  11. Ah Guess I have a little lisdexia going on there
  12. Isn't the quote - red and green should never be seen, except upon a fool? And that graphic Sebon. Isn't the company that makes carbon fibre panels called SEBION? Edit: Just seen that keying someone needs removing from society or the planet what kind of moron does that so someone else's property?

Not just a bit more if you remap, mine gave more, I'm guessing they freed the breathing up a little and the ECU compensated. As it's probably down on what it left the factory with over the years it's likely to have added a few BHP's. Obviously not as much as a proper dyno tune would, but still in my book every little helps What people mean when they tell you that breathing mods will not add HP and the ECU 'dials back', actually only counts if your engine is producing more than it's supposed to. Most have lost a few over their lives so they will perform better.
  14. I do my own and I'd trust myself to do a proper job - That guy sounds like he's OTT, every few thousand miles is a bit overkill, but that might give you an idea of the kind of owner he is
  15. Brilliant Edit: Bought mine too - couldn't resist that Edit: Arrived today great service from the seller.
  16. You'd have thought that someone who put that much time, effort and money into a project would know the difference between an ST and a GT (It's clearly more than either but that's deffo an ST base model - I had a few of those, both ).
  17. Yup, me too, any real fan of the game will be extremely pleased that they are champions ............. I would never, ever feel that way about the rugby Union side the Tigers though
  18. I used physics to do mine too, lowering the car on the jack with the breaker bar braced, just a couple of millimeters is enough to 'crack' the bolt. The brake bolts aren't rusted on as they are alloy, but they are freakin' tight. Once you have done it you will wonder what all the fuss was about I used the 'lowering on the jack' method to make sure they're tight on replacement too
  19. A white 370 by The Smoker at Plumley at 4.30 ish and a Gumetal 350 on top Street Knutsford at 5.15
  20. Same with the Note's, I think it's a general Samsung problem. However, problem solved, QI charging, the future is already here, now. Iv'e have my QI in my Note 3 since I got it and only use the charger port for transferring through my laptop. I can't believe how QI isn't the industry standard already, it's so simple, easy and just a game-changer.
  21. I've always had Android - Samsung Note for me (Currently Note 3 - IMHO not as good as the Note 2, but hanging on for the Note 6 ). - Use = Rare calls, some light texting, mostly internet, lots of photographs, music and other downloads,, so suits me fine.
  22. lorry driver wants to settle outside of insurance; I gave him the quote for repair and he refused to pay; went through insurance at which point he says he was never there, then he stopped answer calls There's your problem right there, you see, that's illegal, why the f*ck do you think you pay for your insurance as we all do.
  23. Right indicator on is a great German technique that is completely ignored in the UK. right indicator on means you're an arse - I know you're there and I will get out of the way as soon as i can anyway ..... now you're just pissing me off You only use it if you know they can get out your way and haven't done it for some reason (not paying attention etc.). I wouldn't sit behind you with it on for no reason. The indicator on while in the outside lane, on the continent, is also used to let drivers that might come up behind you on long empty highways, know that you are aware you are in the overtaking lane and are in fact overtaking (usually at around the speed limit -as opposed to anyone who comes up behind you going faster but also faster than legal).
  24. I had mine done after they replaced the lower front lower wishbone, at my local tyre/exhaust place, apparently their guy is very good, he used a laser thingy on it, it seemed OK afterwards, I didn't really notice a massive difference, but then although I thrash it around I don't do track days. Bob Farnon's in Knutsford. The Zed specialist round here is TDI North in Warrington. http://www.tdi-north.com/
