Like that Think that might be my younger me talking there, but that's what a zed does to me Oh, and the steering wheel is in the wrong place
  2. I like these but I'm wondering what they would look like on a midnight blue car. Have you seen it? personally I like the look of these emblems on a dark car they look good on black and midnight blue but it's a subjective opinion. I thought it looked good but unfortunately I haven't got any pics on a midnight blue. If black emblems are not to your taste on midnight blue then you also have a option of getting satin or chrome 'Z' emblems and keeping the original '350z' lettering emblem. This is more of a subtle look. I have some satin ones already sat here waiting to go on. I just saw the nice black ones and wondered if i should get those instead. Im still undecided but I know where to come if I do want black ones
  3. Good news. Just goes to show that there are still some decent people about
  4. I know how you feel mate. Just had mine repaired today by chips away and they did a fantastic job. The problem is that the bit of the arch below the line is double skinned so mine had to be drilled, pulled, filled and painted, but you would never know that looking at it now.

  6. Thanks. Yeah I'm happy with it. Definitely glad I didn't take the first quote. I have read varying stories about chips away, but at the end of the day it comes down to the individual doing the job, not the company. Guess we have a good guy in our area
  7. Do they have these so called Homebase shops OFFshore as well?
  8. Fair play to you Craig. I read your other thread about this, and I am truly gutted for you. I will be watching your progress with interest and I wish you all the best, and your zed a speedy recovery
  9. I took a gamble and opted to have our local Chips Away bodyshop do the work, and Ive just picked it up. I must say Im very impressed with the service and result. It cost £160 including the vat and the whole job was completed in 3 hours
  10. Agree with that one. It might have saved me £160 this morning.
  11. Why not go the whole 9 yards, and remove the drivers brain to let the car do the test? Oh, some drivers have already had their brains removed. Can't believe they would not teach road signs in favour of a sat nav. Granted, people have become reliant on sat navs these days, but you still need to know basic road safety first. They should teach map reading and Highway Code at school.
  12. 2nd one looks better imo. It has the GT pack with Bose stereo and Rays engineering alloys. The mileage isn't really an issue as it has full dealer history. It's only had 1 owner and it's still got original aerial. Change that for a stubby and you're well away Yea that was the one I was leaning more towards, I'll hopefully get to test drive it next week and will go from there! Sounds good. Let us know how you get on. Do all the usual checks that have been mentioned. Fan, oil on dipstick, eml warning light, clicky axles etc etc Oh.....and of course the drivers door handle
  13. Well, we've had some colder mornings this week, and I've noticed that my HR has been cold starting at about 90-100 and then dropping to about 60 before I drive off. Once everything is warmed up on a drive im getting 45-50 at 2000 rpm in 6th, then about 15 at idle.

  15. Totally agree. A local Tesco Extra near me was closed for over an hour after fights had broken out. Honestly can't believe the way some people act at these sales. Personally I think we should stop all this "American Black Friday" cr*p before it get's too far out of hand & someone get's seriously hurt or worse killed. If they don't stop it then it needs to be properly organized with ticket allocations of products or similar as Dan mentioned. It wouldn't surprise me if the HSE get involved and it doesn't happen again. The shops can still have their sales, but keep them online only.
  16. Nah! What's the drivers door handle like? Oh, and welcome to the forum Jon. Lots of good advice on here. Take your time and do the research first
  17. Anyone know where I can get a load of empty xbox one boxes? I want to fill them with bricks and stand outside the shop selling them, and have people fighting over them On a serious note, I did buy 3 iPad minis from tesco online for £149 each
  18. Well I got a £50 off voucher at Blackcircles so I've just ordered my new tyres
  19. Nice. Wasn't too sure about the colour at first, but the more I look, the more I like
  20. Just out of interest, pm me the supplier of your struts. It could be a bad batch issue, if we got from the same place. Perhaps best not divulge on here where they are from, as it's not the traders fault.
  21. I'll have a go at that when I can, but I can remember lifting the bonnet up and down freely before I fitted the dampers.
  22. Well, in 6 hours of driving in total today, I didn't see 1 other zed. I did enjoy my drive though, although a bit cautious as it was a cold morning. Temps dropped again for my journey home too, and with the roads starting to glisten, I only had 1 small rear end twitch
