  1. I'm off to Knighton in Staffordshire in the morning. It will be my first decent run out. About 2 1/2 hour drive so I'll keep my eyes peeled for any of you guys along the way
  2. I was looking at Thruxton ones earlier. Looks pretty good.
  3. That's a good call Gareth, especially as I have family that live in Chippenham just down the road from CC
  4. My mrs has decided that she would like to get me one of the Ferrari (or similar) driving experiences as a Christmas present. Would be interested to hear who's done what on here, and which would be recommended?
  5. That's good. I'm in Rushden tomorrow visiting my brother
  6. Looks a neat install that Gareth. You were lucky to have fine weather. Been raining here most of the day.
  7. I know mate. It's fine
  8. That's what I thought. Are you anywhere near Corby? Is Northants near Corby? I see you've fully read the OP with the questions you've asked! Corby is in Northants. Northants is a county that's why I'm asking if he's nearby to there, as I could pick them up after work. I also saw that they are for 06-08 but wanted to make sure before buying something that for some strange reason doesn't fit. I see a lot of people buying stuff on here only to then find it doesn't fit. Anyway, cheeky so and so, move along, nothing to see here.
  9. That's what I thought. Are you anywhere near Corby?
  10. Who could have the problem, me or Joe?
  11. Will these fit a 2007 HR model then?
  12. Those wheels suit that colour perfectly
  13. And also, just for the thread, I'm also using 5W30 but The car was fitted with a new sensor in the last year.
  14. It's more than likely that both of our readings are absolutely fine, but we each have different oil in our engines, therefore affecting our pressures. I'm not worrying about mine. I have a P3 service due just after Christmas so when the oil has been changed, I'll see if there is any difference then.
  15. That's a lot different to mine. From a cold start it's up around 120, and once fully warm it's 60 at 2000 rpm. Mine's done 43k. Something doesn't seem right there then does it. With which one? Pressures from the workshop manual: Idle - More than 14 psi 2000 rpm - More than 43 psi So 20-30 normal driving doesn't sound right. Maybe both of ours. Your 120psi sounds high, and my just above minimum in stationary traffic seems low, according to the manual.
  16. Pete mentioned that above
  17. Hello Nick Welcome to the forum. I'm still new to ownership (4weeks) but it's great fun. Do you have a zed yet, or are you looking for one?

  19. You're welcome mate. Now I know where you are, you won't be able to keep me away
  20. Had mine 4 weeks now and can't leave it alone Enjoy! The fun starts now.
  21. I went to see Mitz and Andy at Cougar Store this morning, to give my car an all important once over check. I didn't have any issues to begin with as I had previously read what to check for before I purchased my zed, but I just wanted somebody who knows these cars to have a good look. I was very pleased with the verdict. They told me that it is a very clean and tidy example. One of the best they had seen I had a new set of HKS panel filters fitted whilst there, as the stickers that said ITG filters installed were now wrong, as it appears that when the last service was done by previous owner, the numpty mechanic had replaced the ITG filters with OEM Nissan ones One other thing. I couldn't leave there without ordering a nice Cobra resonated exhaust and Y pipe Looking forward to having that fitted. And then I'll book in for a P3 after Christmas. Cheers Mitz and Andy.
  22. I remember those days well mate. Hella spots on the front and all that. Me and 3 mates swapping an engine in my Ford Capri, using a scaffold pole and some rope as an engine hoist
  23. Extra guages mean extra things to worry about. Very true..... but for me gauges have saved me more than one engine in the past. Agree. They have for me too. You just have to find the right balance between having a nice drive whilst concentrating on the road, occasionally glancing at the guages, or constantly watching the guages expecting something to happen, therefore spoiling your drive. I often get asked, "Why have you got a voltmeter?". "To see if the alternators working", I tell em. "Don't need one of them in my car, and my cars got an alternator", they say.
  24. Welcome. Nice looking zed you have there.
