  1. Hi Simon. I know where that is. Will have to arrange a meet up sometime if you're up for it.
  2. Yes, but I'd have to park away from you all as I don't own one yet Where is the local meet near here?
  3. Thanks for the replies. I guess like most cars recently, the servicing and history is the most important.
  4. When looking to buy, what do you guys class as high mileage and wouldn't entertain looking at? There seems to be plenty out there but would you steer clear of one with 120,000 on it?
  5. Thank you. PM me time and place please
  6. Having never had a close up look of a Zed, I was wondering if anybody lives local....ish to Huntingdon, that would let me have a look over their pride and joy( a guided tour).
  7. I have exactly the same job to do this weekend on my car. Not a zed yet though. I bought some nice stainless mesh that jaguar use
  8. Try using a hot glue gun. Works a treat
  9. I'll look at the Pioneers £300 You get what you pay for fella, hopefully it will do everything you want it to You can pick up a new Pioneer 940BT on Amazon for £475 Thanks I'll have a look at that
  10. £300 You get what you pay for fella, hopefully it will do everything you want it to I haven't bought one. I have a different version in my current car, and have been really pleased with it. Bluetooth works perfectly with my iPhone, sound quality is good, and satnav is exceptional with free upgrades. I asked the supplier of my unit if he does anything for the zeds, and the above is what he does. The difference between the one I have and other Chinese eBay ones, is that I have full customer service and repair factory based in UK. The seller has sold over 600 units to members of another car forum I'm involved with

  12. Sorry, I'm pretty sure it's a Dynavin unit. Runs win ce 6.0, which means a choice of windows compatible satnav software can be loaded. Igo primo is a good sat Nav program which I run on my unit in my present car.
  13. Ain't that usually the way Those bumpers look nice
  14. Just wondering if anybody has fitted one of these units. Has satnav, tv, rear camera, DVD, Bluetooth etc
  15. I have fitted loads of these sensors http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CAR-REVERSING-REVERSE-PARKING-4-SENSOR-KIT-BUZZER-ALARM-/190322960277?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item2c5021e795 They are easy to fit, come with holesaw, and colour coded, or spray them yourself What's the reason for not wanting to drill? Just don't want to drill bumper, or think it would be difficult? I have these sensors and a nice dd unit with reverse camera, sat Nav etc in my present car
  16. You're right. I noticed just after I posted, sorry. Thanks

    Services

Hi, Am just doing research really until I'm in a position to buy a Zed, which hopefully will be within a few months. Can someone please explain the different services and what they consist of, P1,P2 etc, and a rough cost of these?
  18. Hi. Unfortunately it's no reference to a Ducati. I get asked all the time on various forums but its just a randomly generated eBay username.
  19. First time I've read this thread as I've only just joined, but wanted to say what a fantastic job you have done there. I did my first bit of wrapping last weekend, so appreciate how hard it is, and mine was only chrome wrapping a rocker cover, let alone a whole car. Well done
  20. First post to introduce myself :-) I'm Steve. I live in Huntingdon and I've fallen in love with zeds :-) I don't own one at the moment, but I have joined here to learn more about them. If anybody lives around this way and would let me have a look round theirs, I would be very grateful. Off to do some more research now :-)
