  1. No reason why not, I wouldn't think. It might foam a bit more than usual. At some point you have to go over it with a bucket and sponge though
  2. Get some pictures up so we can see what you've done. If its not too deep, I don't mind giving it a machine polish for you
  3. To save money on using a QD as a lubricant, you can use a small amount of car shampoo mixed with water. Works just as well

    Detail

Nice job I was wondering why you were posting pictures of your garden and drive, then I realised it was a reflection lol. Top work

  6. Detergent based so best keep it away from rubber and it will probably strip wax. (fairy liquid is a detergent) The idea is that you want it detergent based, so it strips all the old wax and everything else off. I have used fairy liquid as an APC on mine and others cars before carrying out any paint correction. Here's a car I did on Tuesday for a member of another club in in. This car was covered in scratches and swirls beforehand. 1. Snow foamed 2. Rinsed 3. APC washed 4. Rinsed 5. Clayed 6. APC washed 7. Rinsed 8. Machine polished 9. APC washed 10. Rinsed 11. Dried 12. FK1000P wax Maybe a bit excessive but achieved a good result
  7. Don't know you yet as I'm a newbie still, but congratulations to you and the missus
  8. What an impressive setup you have there. Love the wheels Hope to meet you guys one day
  9. The days of cash buying for discount, I thought were in the past now. People used to give a big discount for paying with cash, as they wouldn't put it through the books, therefore paying no income tax on it. I wouldn't think a car can be sneakily hidden from the taxman nowadays though
  10. Looking good That's one of the colour combos I would be looking for
  11. It's called Ultra Yellow and in the UK it was used on the GT4 model... Thanks mate. I love it
  12. That looks gorgeous Is that a standard Nissan colour?

    Machine Polisher

Don't worry about that. I'm in Huntingdon if you're interested. Last year my stepdad lost a ladder from his roof rack, straight down across the bonnet. We managed to get those out

    Machine Polisher

Where are you based? I don't have one for sale but you're welcome to come and use mine
  15. Really nice shots there Have a look at this thread from another forum I'm on. It's an excellent night shot and it shows the setup involved. Yours would look really cool in a shot like this. Sorry, I don't know how to just copy the photos over. http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=133333
  16. Thanks again. If ever you want to use my machine polisher, feel free to call over. Got everything needed here
  17. I had dinner in Linhs Chinese the other week, I liked it even though a few reviews were not great. In laws live in Isleham so I'm around that way quite a bit. Yeah Linhs is not bad.. the chequers is a fantastic curry though! Definitely recommend that next time you're in the area. Steve, up for arranging something, although I'm still pretty new to the Z myself! Ok, we can arrange something for a weekend day
  18. Nice to meet you today Marcus. What a lovely car you have there. It certainly made me smile
  19. Brings back memories. I used to spend time out that way a few years back.
  20. Sorry Thanks Dave Thanks. Overall condition would be pretty high up on my list
