Thats a bit harsh, people who have suffered with depression have tried to offer help and advise to get you through your current situation, if you generally have depression, its all great advise. If your just a bit low due to circumstance, it will get better , over and out

Lol Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk In reality, providing you havent got an underlying issuse the above is what you need to do, making the opening wider will make no difference, it wont increase the flow rate even with channelling, you need to get air onto the rad which is blocked by the bumper face or over the top of the intercooler, no aftermarket bumper increases the height of the opening, just the width, which isnt the issue. Just try some skyline ducts as you suggest and put some flexible tube pointing at the rad. Job done for a fraction of the cost of a bumper. Or even try the std air filter ducts with some hose attached: http://my350z.com/forum/body-exterior/395314-titek-350z-carbon-fiber-air-duct-matte-finish-dual-hr-titek-cf-ducts.html

Rape them in the face with an AIDS-coated parsnip. If you speculate on new cars, chances are most manufacturers will black list you so you unlikely to get another.

To be fair, even std R34 GTR'S are in my mind, silly money. The whole investment thing has gone mad again, i went to Ferrari Egham with a mate last Friday as he was buying a 458, 2 LaFerrari awaiting collection, one a special, amongst various other exotica and outside a 360 challenge stradale at £249k, a mate sold one of them for circa £80k 5 ish years ago, crazy.
-
Pretty sure whoever buys that m spec will be doing no different to you paying 80k off your mortgage, I.e making an investment, it will sit in a private collection and not see a road in anger, pretty sad really
-
Yeah check that, 35-40 is not low, a mapper once refused to map one of my rx7's at 31, you should be a few degrees over ambient at best.

I understand the method but any air hitting the intercooler/rad will go through mostly, forcing it on there wont push more through as its limited by its flow rate anyway through its make up (i,e veins). Imagine pouring water through a sieve, pouring more water on/in it wont get it through any faster. The problem is the intercooler now blocking the flow of cool air, you could perhaps use a smaller or thinner cooler and add water/meth to cool the intake. What are your air intake temps around the track?
-
From personal experience ducting/guiding wont make much difference, you are only channelling the air, it will still end up going through the same size hole so flow is no different, if you do this you also take the risk of increasing heat around the engine as there is no cool air getting through. A couple of vents in the bumper face will get more cooling air onto the rad as you suggested. Speak to zmanalex, he has a big hp track zed, he will guide you from his experience as to the best solution.

Rx7 92 - 02 Supra 93 - 02 To name a couple
-
Takes me back to my Rx7 days were they would all quote they would rather have their 10k single turbo Rx7's because they are faster than a Ferarri or Lambo etc, yeah of course.....I know which i would rather own out of a gtr and a Bugatti

Bizarre to think its nearly 10 years old now and as above, unless its a complete redesign, its never going to be a looker and i would hazard a guess its coming to the end of its lifespan in this guise and the next one will be a hybrid and all the updates in looks will go into that. Just had a wiki: R32 - 6 year span R33 - 5 year span R34 - 3 year span (unless you count the z tune) So the 35 is doing pretty well at 10 years.

I like. What is it? Amuse 370z style by the looks of it, Tarmacsportz bought one in as a test and it fitted so bad that he decided not to bother with any more. I would hazard to say, if your having cooling issues there is something else a miss, perhaps in line with your mishimoto rad thread issues. If your disregarding your oem bumper, get busy with a hole saw and see if it makes any difference. You will probably find its the big old intercooler blocking the airflow to the rad, more than the aperture. You could also try a davies craig electric water pump to speed up flow.

All bov's will all be loud unless you quieten the air realising. I am afraid i have never heard a v7 but have to be honest, i didnt think the v3 "working noise" was loud at all, it was just the blow off valve making all the racket until i quietened it up with the filter. I would say its got to be worth a £30 on a filter and silicon elbow for positioning before investing in a new charger, which i wouldnt presume will be any quieter.
-
Personally i love the fact Vettel jumped shipped from RedBull and he is behind Ricciardo and Verstappen is breathing down his neck even though he started in a Torro Rosso.
-
When i bought my v3 the noise was ridiculous, just put a decent size filter on the bov, works a treat.

Corners are a mystery to some people or maybe they were just concerned for their £100k car -
Quick Q about interior gauge clusters and dials please...

Jdm and uk swap straight out if that was question 3. -
488 vs 355 is another level and so it should be, its the latest tech, a different engine, different chassis, different everything, the same cannot be said for a gtr and whilst you cant get away from inflation, increased costs etc, a 50% + increase in price just cannot be justified imho and sorry to say, Nissan is not a high end marque.
-
I know everything has gone up car wise, but at £52k ish when it came out it was quite the bargain and very appealing, but at £80k plus I am not so sure anymore.
-
Your always going to push db limits if you decat, I was on the limit at Bedford with a very similar true dual exhaust and hfc's and at Combe where gm was pulled I never had an issue. Its just not worth the hassle if you want to track it.

Lets be honest, there isnt a lot of difference between a stripped mx5 and std, what did you loose, maybe 25kg, even 50kg would be .5% of overall weight. You might as well strip the zed if thats the approach. Fully agree with choosing a direction to get the right car for the job though -

Try as much as you can in the meantime -
You are far too nice dude, make her an offer of x per month and tell if she doesnt like it, take you to court, just because she changed her mind doesnt mean your life has to suffer further.
-
Dude, I dont wish to cause offence, but, seems like you were getting your pants pulled down by you're aunt and you're inheritance and now your girlfriend, I would personally tell her to stick it and if she gets a solictor involved, go get legal aid. Please dont enter any negotian without legal advise, you will get legal aid, maybe a no win, no fee and from here on in, make sure everything is in writing, keep texts, emails, every single bit of correspondance with her.

You want the holy grail, of which there is no such thing i am afraid, a compromise will have to be made I thoroughly enjoyed both my na and charged zed on the track, but, i realised i was enjoying being on the track more than the road and however competent the zed was at both, it had to make way for something more at home on the track, less at home on the roads. Saying that, i do drive my vx on the roads and more importantly to get to the track, whilst its not the comfy ride the zed was, i had no problems doing a 4 - 5 hour round trip along with being on the track all day. As GM mentioned, bang for buck, below is a great car: http://www.350z-uk.c...5-supercharged/ + Another car is just going to mean, another years tax, insurance and other associated running costs + the track days, personally something would have to make way, you can only use one of them at a time.
