A lad on the Rx7 forum bought a replica Veilside Fortune kit, maybe the same guy! £8k which in respect isnt too bad when the original cost in excess of £12k i think, although it obviously needed a fair bit of work. I appreciate the mentioned design/mould costs and know there are a lot of panels for that kit etc but £8k let alone £12k is just a ludicrous sum for some fiberglass.

It doesnt have the necessary switches on the brake and accelerator pedals, but the wiring is there

I think its a shame it has gone down to one series as they didnt want to compete with Xfactor viewings. The autumn series always had the newest exotica out so wasnt so full of the "challenges" and the spring episode also gave a taster of the coming year with the odd surprise early release. Less time for them to fill with "challenges", although i do find most of them funny, even if they are totally staged. The worse one for me was the India special, they tried to hard for it to be funny. Last nights was ok, but again tried a little too hard to be funny.

20" alloys will fill your arches no more than 18's or 19's or even 17's as you have to keep to near the same rolling diameter via tyre profile.

I have to ask, if it is sh*t and has been sh*t for that long, why watch it?

I was surprised not to see a 1.9Gti and there are better choices in the golf and fiesta camp, but i guess the show had already been put together and they knew they were going to blow them up so not point buying anything good, although it may have made for a more interesting show. Its entertainment, its staged, they get millions of viewers, its not been a factual car based programme for many years. If you want factual watch 5th gear, but i would bet my last £ they would give anything to have Tg viewer numbers. *just seen the above whilst posting this! There is always the change channel button

Why would they do that, they havent done that for years (on the most part) Convinced some people watch Tg to moan about it! Not the best episode for sure but bought back some fond memories

My brother in law is like this, but if the shoe is on the other foot and you tell him how it is in the same fashion, he goes into meltdown, if you speak to people in a certain fashion, expect the same back. I am with everyone else, dont breach the subject unless she wants to discuss it, if she does, just ask her if she would like to be spoken to in the same fashion, guess you wont change her and sounds like you like that no nonsense approach, lets face it, if you disagree with her its the dog house for you

The only places you will get to see alloys is the general tat halfrauds or motabitz sell, most people tend to trade on line these days, unless your lucky and a tuning house near has some but generally its too expensive to carry stock and cant help with any in that area. Need a little help guys, my daily is playing up, basically underneath its a Yaris 1.5 VVTI Auto. On pulling away and low speed it is really sluggish (yes i know its a 1.5 ) and hesitates a lot, if you put your foot to the floor it takes a while to build up but then seems fine, but at part throttle its horrible, even if you add extra throttle it still seems to do nothing, you have to put your foot to the floor for it to want to rev. I have changed plugs and maf sensor with no joy, old plugs seem clean I.e not oiled up etc Air filter is good etc Any ideas??

A V8 in any Fd is a crime, to do it to this one its positively sacrilege Far too nice an example to be butchering I can vouch this is a very well known an respected Fd in excellent condition and meticulously modified with quality parts, i know Guy and the previous owner

Hopefully i am not teaching you to suck eggs, but they are not chrome, they are polished ally, in some cases they will come bare which is a headache to look after but looks awesome and in most cases on cheaper wheels they will come lacquered which dulls the shine of polished ally but makes cleaning a lot easier. The other problem with lacquer is if you get a little chip the water gradually creeps under and you get the white worm effect like Jetset pictured. Jays solution is probably the best of both worlds, shiney and maintenance free. Although there are other methods, clear anodising works well and for my next set i am going to try a clear protective wrap to see what that looks like

If its a gold like the Volks (a sort of white gold) yes, but if its the jewish racing gold you get on some other wheels, no Anthracite works well, black is done to death and for me white looks a bit rally car ish. How about this: House of Kolour Copper Penny Pearl
