For sure and because they were so rude, lied and tried to get away with it, it wasnt a dent wizard syle touch in, whole bumper was sprayed An even older lady eventually smashed into the front of my car before i left, she paid for a new headlight and bumper funnily enough, the hotel banned her from the car park because she had hit loads of other cars in the past, there wasnt one straight panel on her car, tragic really these people are on the roads! I have noticed a particular trend of late of people not indicating, anyone else noticed it seems to be popular now?

I used to work in a Hotel, in the year and a half i worked there my car (not a zed) was like it had been parked in Beirut, same too with my girlfriend of the time who also worked there! When i was there i had a call from one of the accounts ladies that she had just watched a woman try to reverse into a parking space and had hit my girlfriends car. I went down to watch the cctv footage and it was quite comical, two oldish dears, one got out to "guide" her in to the space but all she managed to do was guide her onto the rear corner of my girlfriends car, the driver got out, they rubbed the scuff a bit, exchanged some words and still parked next to it! I blocked them in with my car and awaited the call. Reception phoned to say i was blocking someone in, i went down, greeted them and was sorry i had blocked them in etc, opened my door and just as i was about to get in, i said, at what point were you going to tell me you had reversed into my girlfriends car, the reply, we didnt know it was your girlfriends like it was ok, lol, they then tried to deny it saying it was already like it and then they got quite angry when i said it had been recorded on cctv with comments like, thats what bumpers are for and what do you expect us to do about it!!

Yes, hence my post and still doesnt explain why people that ask the questions dont bid Same as Dblock mentions about watchers, i had a Lexus Soarer on there a few years ago, was getting 100 page views a day and had 72 watchers by the end, not one bid and it was cheap.

Does anyone else advertise things with ebay and get a plethora of questions but then none of those people who asked actually bid, even when you give them the answer they want?? Seems to happen a lot of late, even on simple self descriptive random items

After taking out my std seats i would say tilt forward, thats how they seemed to come out best

Will be difficult to tell if it has done any damage unless its making any odd noises! If your really concerned, get the sump taken off and check the big ends for scoring or damage

Sorry i dont have any sound clips, will be different pending on the exhaust you have. They were by no means loud or droney with my HKS Dual, throaty is the word i would use. I re used my gaskets and bolts so i dont have any but easily and cheaply available if you cant use yours. Found this on youtube, hope it helps:

I have heard rumour that jdm anti roll bars are thinner than UK ones to make up for the jdms stiffer springs/suspension (again not sure if this is fact either), could anyone confirm the thickness of UK ones please

Far superior Yes but as said below, really easy to swap over, just swapped to the berks and it took 45mins. It is highly unlikely you would pass an emissions test on an MOT with these fitted. Just keep hold of your OEM cats and switch them over for the test.

Ichiba silenced decats, excellent condition. Bought from here end of the summer but just got a set of Berks. These never threw an engine light and performance was noticeable, even without a remap, much freer revving £90 + postage

I love my zed for a simple reason, I can drive it, if anyone on here has owned a rx7 they will know exactly what I mean, its a real novelty having a car on the drive that you dont go into melt down and panic everytime you pick up the keys

Wheel choice will play a big part, 1kg saved in unsprung mass is roughly the equivalent to 8kg sprung mass

Seems the nature of modern cars, the only thing that breaks the mould is the new ish gt86, even mx5's are bulking up in the weight department compared to what they used to be! Big fat comfy electric seats, airbags, big brakes & wheels, solid build added to the overall size all contributes Just try lifting your bootlid if your gas shocks go

This was something I was curious about and did put up a thread a couple of months ago. I put my jdm (no leather) on a weighbridge, 1440kg, that was with half a tank of fuel, big old 19's on, big sub/box and two amps. I did have full ss exhaust which saves a bit of weight. My target is 1400kgs but I dont want to loose creature comforts and I think I can achieve that fairly easily. 1300kg is very achievable imho, fiberglass tailgate and lexan rear screen would save loads to start. 1300kg is rx7 weight which is considered a light car.

I appreciate that, but what about Japan, surely Nismo is popular there?
