  1. Its obviously not easy for refs, split second view and decision, but, they do give fouls (occasionally) for what they think is a dive, but very rarely hand out cards, yellow at best! If someone dives or the ref thinks they have dived, red card, you can also use said video evidence to over turn a refs decision! I watched a bit of the Brazil game and whilst it was a hand ball by Hulk, there is literally no way the ref could see it, the linesmen werent flagging, so how did he make that decision, it was just opinion from perhaps body shape and ball control. I think the refs assistants (linesmen) should play a more pivotal role, 4 or 6 eyes are better than one and all that!

    My Supra

I will do it again one day but have learned many a lesson. The only way i would ever start a project again is if i had literally everything to complete it to exactly the spec i wanted first time, money no object etc

    My Supra

Purely for the labour of love I got bitten with the tuning bug and seeing this list brings back many a memory, i admire your dedication
  4. No different to a deliberate hand ball or foul, its just very difficult to prove if the contact caused the player to fall. Refs should be much tougher, same goes for shirt pulling and arms or hands around players in the box under corners, there is absolutely no need to touch another player with your hands!
  5. Lifetime warranty sounds good to me
  6. Just saw something on a Dave tv channel caption. Suarez for golden boot, he would bite your hand off
  7. Very true, so why mention your Gtst was faster in a straight line?
  8. Yes sorry, i didnt add the T, although i thought that would be a given Still dont believe there would be anything noticeable in it between std variants
  9. The perfect comment! No one would keep a car they didnt enjoy and when they find something they like more or suits them better they move on. I had exactly the same with the Rx7's I owned, I tried other cars but kept coming back to them as nothing put the same kind of smile on my face, until I bought a 350. The Rx7 is faster (tuned) handles better, arguably better looking, but 95% of the time I know where I would prefer to be and thats in a 350, its just a much nicer place to be. I am under no illusion there are better cars given a particular criteria, but as a complete package they tick the boxes, which leads nicely back to the op's original post, no one would be jealous or a hater if they were anything but desirable.
  10. Shortly after i got my 350 i posted about a trip i took to catch up with a friend, a, b and m roads and was pleasantly surprised at how well it dealt with all of them, personally i feel the 350 is much more than just a gt car, it does everything well and there in lies it biggest attribute for me! Stick in on a track and it will hold its own, of course it wont be faster than a Vx thats designed for that kind of work, but in general its a very very capable car, not just a cruiser imho! Depends on what you have driven. I had a VW Scirocco 1.4TSi better in the twisties than the Zed, my 18 year old R33 is faster in a straight line than the zed. I think the zed is pretty average in the grand scheme of things, its does lots of things 'pretty' well, but none really well. There are cars that sit on the extremes better. For me, of all the cars I have owned the Zed worked really well on big A roads and on motorways with lazy power. Anyone that thinks its a great B road machine clearly hasn't driven something that does b roads properly... Look through my car history If you want to see what I have owned. I never said the Zed was great on b roads either, i said it was good at everything and more than just a gt car, maybe its just in the ability to get the best out of it Put a std R33Gts against a 350z and there would be nothing In it in a straight line, so i dont really get your point that an easily tuned turbo car Is faster in a straight line?
  11. Always a solution, look forward to the finished results
  12. due out this autumn although non of them are Liberty walk bodykits there kya koto or something liberty walk are like west coast customs just top the parts together It will be Rocket Bunny branded, they have just released their Rx7 kit, identical really Are you getting any further Grundy, just hit the same wall with mine not clearing the Brembos so going to effectively end up a -4 et on a 9j and they work pretty well, nothing more major than an arch roll and some stretch (235/35), just gives a nice bit of poke Will get some pictures up when i get it back next week
  13. I would be the same sadly, probably a safe buy though, cant see it depreciating much
  14. Yes i know its been set up to be fast, but just over 7 mins at the Ring is simply outstanding, there is a whole heap of pedigree and exotica way way off that pace!!
  15. Sadly for English clubs Man U started this years ago as they wanted to be able to compete in Europe, they were paying silly money for players a long time ago, Ferdinand for one, 30 million in 2002!!!! The rest of the UK top clubs then had to play catch up and spend big. Its all become a bit of a farce if you ask me, isnt Rooney being paid something like 250k a week??

  18. Yes it works, I have done the same to mine!
  19. 20. There have been plenty of footballers with issues, Joey Barton being another that stands out, they still seem to be bought though!
  21. The question is often asked on many forums, what car would you have for "x", unless the figure increased quite substantially i would still have a 350, there are many other cars i would like, but dont think they would tick as many boxes for me. I do agree with forum rose tinted glasses though, so many times on the Rx7 forum discussions over things like Gallardos, Astons, Posrches etc etc everyone would say, wouldnt have them i prefer my Rx7, lol. Put a Gallardo on my drive and the Zed would go without a moments hesitation. But with the budget currently available to me, there isnt a car i would prefer, otherwise i would have it
  22. Replace "engine" with "weight" Thing is it's not that heavy for a modern car. Sure it's no Elise but it weighs around the same as my mk 4 golf that it replaced and has double the power output. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I agree, depends on definitions i guess. Discounting anything sub a ton, i would consider most things up to 12 - 1300 ish light for a road car. Mine weighed with sub box and amp and weighty 19's, 1450kg, get rid of that jazz & 18's and its down to 1400kg, hardly GTR territory at 1750kg ish, now thats a heavy car and will still be as fast or faster than most supercars!
  23. I caught the half time chat on the France game last night and they were discussing the state of English football, one thing they all agreed on was sadly the English players are probably just too honest for their own good and dont know how to "play" in european and world tournaments. Instead of riding a tackle they should just go down etc Whilst Suarez is in a different league entirely, foreign teams/players all know how to con the ref, its sad this is now football, but if you cant beat them, you might as well join them!
  24. £8k for a resprayed white 03, seems like a hell of a lot to me!
  25. I played golf last night with a life long Fulham supporter (we all have a cross to bear), i never really followed Hodgson much but he said he was the same at Fulham, he fielded what he thought to be his best team game after game, even if they were loosing, speaks volumes i guess I would really have thought at that level a manager would be be savvy enough to play each individual side based on their particular strong points and be able to 1) field a team best suited and 2) set the side up in which ever formation nullified the oppositions strengths (where ever possible) You only have to cast your eye at the shambles that is English cricket at the moment, get rid of the best player to keep the captain happy although he is in shockingly bad form and a poor decision maker and make way for a previous manager whos track record was sh*t! Maybe this is the whole problem with England, two many old duffers in the background not willing to move with the times and stick to the old guard!!
