I have done a fair bit of shooting, single and multi shot, but as i got older i never felt comfortable with shooting anything i wasnt going to eat. I know birds such as crows can be a real problem. I would actually recommend just getting something to scare them first (or try), see if that does the trick, often a well placed dummy hawk does the job, but you will have to move it as they become used to it being in one spot. Try a good old fashioned scare crow, cd's on a piece of string etc If all else fails, get a bb gun, you wont kill them, unlikely to even hit them, but the noise and something wizzing past them will unsettle them enough.

Lane discipline in this country is shocking (havent driven abroad in recent years), whenever i go near a motorway it infuriates me beyond belief. Even dual carriage ways are poor, people sitting in the right hand land because at the next roundabout miles up the road they want to turn right.
-
I had a lovely drive yesterday, but some peoples reactions to you are very surprising. Had a rep mobile sitting feet of my bumper, so once i past a few cars pulled into the inside lane and he pulled level and just stayed there, occasionally speeding up and dropping back to level. On a quiet stretch of dual carriage way I was on the inside lane, not to far ahead was some diesel people carrier, soon as he realised I was gaining and likely to overtake, he booted it, big puff of black smoke, I was now in the outside lane travelling at the same speed I was going previously. As I was drawing level he was still accelerating and gaining speed, so rather than accelerate myself I just dropped back into the inside lane, he slowed back down, I was maintaining a constant speed so went to overtake again, he did exactly the same. I was taking a turning off about 2 miles up the road so just sat behind him.

Should suit you then

Probing UK air space. (Testing our defences)

There was also a huge Russian war ship in the channel but this doesnt make as "interesting" headlines -
I am frequently suprised by just how much attention my 350 gets, through such a wide demographic too, from kids to pensioners, all for a few grand! Living in a town where expensive metal is common place, it still manages to attract adorning and admiring glances, comments from all sorts, some who are driving cars 10 times plus its value. They may be better drives/cars, but trust me, round here, you wouldnt get those comments if you drove a M3 or Boxster/Cayman. The woman in the local garage asked if i had won the lottery when i first got it

Very valid point imho, too many people buy cars because they are in their price range and then sh*t a brick at the price of parts, cost of ownership as they havent looked into it
-
I always would, but seems some poor too trustworthy for their own good will believe his spiel. He is obviously a trader, you dont advertise 14 cars a week as a hobby so surely he has to advertise as trade, offer warranties etc

Very happy with my import, the only thing i specifically wanted was Brembos that come std on UK cars, but even then if the price is right you can pick up a set for £500 ish. I am not at all fussed about leather (although some jdms come with leather) and dont really miss cruise control as i spend little time cruising motorways. Autos will be cheaper, you may need to stretch your budget a bit if you want a clean one though

I am looking for a bigger work vehicle but its also got to double as a weekend away van so thought i would go down the Mazda Bongo route. Been looking for a while in the usual places and noticed a guy on ebay who lists 2 every day on a one day auction only, always ending at 1.20 ish in the am, allegedly to make way for fresh stock from Japan, but they are all pre owned, using a few different ebay accounts, it didnt really add up but if thats the way the guy makes his living its no business of mine. I went to view one at the weekend local ish to me, it was a shed, oil and water leak, sill stoved in, rusty arches (all common problems) Its probably no surprise to hear its up as one of his on his usual one day auction, but the description is quite the opposite of what i found. i just hate to think someone will be caught out with a dog of a van.

I personally think the odd thing about it is that its simply vanished and by that i mean, no one knows where it crashed/went/why it changed course/no word from the flight deck etc

women & men seem to come to different conclusions Women seem to think its a nice happy romantic story whereas most men seem to come to the same conclusion as I did but its interesting how men/women get a different message/opinion from it. The story of life

Not to cherry pick, but it would be a tricky if the i8 wasnt near twice the price of the M3 and pulled the kind of mpg it claimed, but whilst ever it is and doesnt do anything near remotely what it says on the tin, why would anyone buy one, apart from the looks? Until the price levels out and battery pack tech gets infinitely better i just dont see the benefit and if someone actually comes up with a decent solution to the hydrogen issues, battery power will be a thing of the past!

They dont care who they p*ss off do they Probably a good thing though, the more countries citizens they carry out these vile acts on, the more sticks they will get hit with Makes you think just how insane they are though, thinking they can "change" pretty much the whole world

AMG GT was suprisingly quick round the track i thought.

I thought that was a really good episode, few good cars and reviews ish, stars in cars were entertaining and a few laughs too 31mpg out of the i8 though is utterly shocking, however much hybrids might be the future, they arent even close imho.

Well, there is a big blob of land that is under their control so at his point it is basically a de-facto state. The point that I am trying to make is that this country does not have a choice but to allow them live amongst us. Imran Khawaja is a British citizen and a known troublemaker. No other country will let him in. You can only lawfully deport foreign citizens to their own countries. UK doesn't have Australia to sent criminals to anymore, remember? The fact that Khawaja has a British passport makes him a British problem. If that is the case, hang him for treason then, even better

1. What islamic country apart from ISIS do you think will be happy to accept those kinds of people? 2. Do you think it serves the interests of this country to have more hate-preachers on the loose? Quite frankly i dont care about other countries, its obvious they have save havens in other countries where their religion is more relevant, what i do care about though is THIS country and i think to allow people like that to live amongst us is just ludicrous, as do many others it would seem. It will all change if one of these jihadists on a mission actually wounds/kills someone important (politician/royal family etc), then you will see action and swift action.

This is where i think the "joke" is, in reality, i dont think any of these british born hate preachers would actually give up their nice warm homes, hot and cold running water where they can sleep soundly in their beds, 3 square meals or more and every aspect of freedom they are entitled to in this country, let alone the possible hand outs they get to go and live in one of these violent 3rd world countries where they would have absolutely none of this! They can go and preach their hate and recruit in these countries as much as they like for all i care, with any luck they would probably get taken out in a drone attack, all for the cost of an air flight. So the question is, if there was a punishment to suit the crime, i.e deported to an islamic state of their choice, how many would still preach hate at the very country they reside in? Their not stupid, far from it, we let them get away with it so thats why they do it.

No, just a country where his beliefs are upheld and one he doesnt despise. If I hated Britain that much, I wouldnt live here, its pretty simple

Although i live in a relatively large town, it has its little suburbs so to speak, the village shops at the end of my road consisted of the usual, 4 banks, hairdresser, butchers, tea room, estate agent or two etc It now consists of one bank, 4 hairdressers, 2 beauty saloons, numerous charity shops, 5 estate agents, 3 bakers etc but more alarmingly, what was 6 pubs in a quarter of a square mile radius is now, 16 pubs and wine bars all open till 2am!!!
