    Flare???

Careful you dont get arrested and banged up
  2. The above has already been linked, I gave it 15 mins reading and started think, what do I actually care what they believe, their still barbaric scum. I heard on my local news a 22 year old IT worker with no military training has gone to train with Kurdish forces to fight ISIS because he is so outraged at their methods.
  3. I am with gm on this, under normal circumstances I am very very passive, in most cases I will walk away from violence, but some things will bring out the worse in me, people like this for example. Life imprisonment, with literally enough food/water to just about survive, no bed, no toilet, no window, give him a little to think
  4. I went to see the last one by boat, we were about 12 miles offshore, there were loads of boats out, it was pretty eerie when it all went dark and you could no longer see the other boats.
  5. I would imagine you still bolt in your std seat belt mount to hold this in place. Would it not be easier to weld in eyelets for harness buckles rather than worry about position to wrap around?

    Flare???

    Of course they are allowed
  7. I will try to explain better, that just tells what you need to start the application, not whats required to get taxed. Both below say you still need insurance. https://online.postoffice.co.uk/webApp/CarTax http://ask.co-operativeinsurance.co.uk/help/car_insurance/tax_without_cert I guess i will find out
  8. http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/cars/article-2520649/Need-insurance-certificate-buy-car-tax-axed.html That just shows what you need to be able to apply, not what you actually require to get tax. According to the abive for example: They will still have to have valid insurance but not asked to show it. Maybe it just checks the vehicle is insured on the database, not specifically in your name.
  9. Good to know, dont want to drive miles and be stuck or have to go back

    Flare???

Isnt this kind of like the whole jdm brake "panic" you get on here, i.e they are not Brembos, your jdm car wont stop . I am sure if the Japanese had problems with "explosives" being in their cars, they wouldnt put them in there in the first place
  11. Looking at changing my daily, i have read about taxing in my name etc, but if its not insured, i cant tax it, but, cant insure it till i know which one i will buy, if you get me. I can obviously phone up and insure there and then when i find one i like, but how quick does this hit the database for me to then be able to tax it?
  12. I guess it just depends on if any companies get heavily fined with the new regs.
  13. I hear on the news today companies will be liable for big fines if they are nuisance with their sales texts/calls. I am not sure on the ins and outs but a good thing if you ask me. Not to long ago the same number would call me twice a day, probably 3 times a week, i had googled the number and it was some form of debt reduction company. Hopefully it will stop things like this.

    Flare???

There was a discussion a while back on the Rx7 forum about, what to fit in its place, big fat cigar tube came out tops, well along with something else i wont mention

    Flare???

Pretty sure i have a few lying around from various imports over the years, 3 in my toolbox, been there for years and sleep soundly every night Nothing like a bit of scaremongering
  16. No problem, i have done quite a few sets, Volks, Works, Weds etc You could even remove the anodising yourself with a bit of caustic soda, we used to do it years ago on anodised bmx parts, but trust it to some experts and you will be in good hands. If you need anything else pm me.
  17. Not sure who told you that buddy, Its certainly not true. Gtc's would be a doddle to refurbish. Take the centres out, take the barrels to an electroplater and they will remove the anodising, then get the lips polished. If you dont want to look after the polished lips when done, get them laquered.
  18. Both two outside lanes are for overtaking I think most drivers are just too damn lazy to change lanes, completely obliviously or typically pompous with the mentality that they are doing 70mph so no one should be overtaking anyway, maybe rightfully so, but what is worse, the middle/outside lane hog, or someone travelling at 80.

    wheels security

Most of the nice wheel nuts have a special socket (6 sides rather than std 5 side socket, or something like that), a std socket wont undo them so kind of a deterrent Or tuner nuts use like a large allen key style adapter.

    wheels security

Locking wheel nuts, a lot like alarms, are only a deterrent, as others have said, if they want them they will have the tools to get them, but if you have some form of locking wheels nuts they may think twice and find an easier target.
  21. Personally i would imagine Porsche arent that bothered, with all the best will in the world, they know the other 2 are probably faster and as someone else mentions, they will have already have had their marketing department work out the loosing spiel, i.e its all electric and we are not competing anyway etc etc I guess this all goes back to the ring lap times, Maclaren wont officially release their lap time until Ferrari releases theirs! My dicks bigger than yours, blah blah. If i could afford any of three i know where i would spend my money regardless of what lap times they can throw down, they are all sold anyway, what difference does it make now?
  22. I'll bet my left ******* that it'll happen one day. Might have to wait another 20/30 years (or more) for it though. I am with you, i think this will happen and soon, officially or "unofficially"
  23. Just to fill you in Ekona, apparently TG have been contacted by a Mr BinLaden (cousin of Osama) who owns all three, 918, LaF and P1. Ferrari have said if anyone who lends their LaF to TG they will be banned from buying any ltd edition Ferrari in the future. So in the instance of Mr BinLaden, what is stopping him, hiring a race track, hiring a driving, inviting TG to film and putting all 3 round? Surely Ferrari cant blacklist him for taking his car on track, just because the other two are there is immaterial, there is no contract to say otherwise and if the cars run with no plates, who will know whos cars they are Regardless of manufacturers posturing imho, i reckon all 3 would be within tenths of each other round the TG track, its just they want a timed advantage, i.e a few seconds difference.
  24. Surprising to see the Corvette was quicker round the track than the Cayman. Very annoying all the shenanigans between McLaren, Ferrari, but do agree they should all be customer cars and not "specials" sent from the factory.
