  1. The hydrodipped centre consul photo above would drive me mad, all the "weave effect" running off in different angles to each other. Piano black satisfies my ocd
  2. Personally i am with Jimmy Carr on the last few posts content Plus I also have no idea what this thread is about
  3. Its mind blowing to me that even though we would die if we went there, nature continues on..... Maybe thats something to do with these post apocalyptic films we see where its just baron landscapes. I think there is too much trying to control nature to suit our lifestyles, this was caused by a natural event and nature is the only one who prevails.
  4. So not the same as the op is looking at 9.5's
  5. It is an interesting point mentioned that if everyone choose to go to court and how it would clog the system.
  6. Not if its got a poor chassis and a shed load of weight Each to their own though, dont ever see a Z having a V8 when their fastest car runs a V6.
  7. The Americans have always done cheap V8 muscle, i guess we are actually seeing it cheap for the first time though. They never did corners and a good chassis though on the most part. So unless the new Mustang is a step on in that department, i would prefer a less powerful Z that does corners. Styling is very individual but if it looked anything like the Toyota FT1 concept its a winner for me, a bit lighter would be good, 1200 - 1300kg and i guess engine is either going to come down to emissions regs or what they are pitching it against. I am sure some time ago there was an article about the next Z being hybrid, anything but that! What would be a new Z's "competition" is probably more the question, is it going to take on the GT86, as Ekona says, hardly been flying out the showroom, they have hardly faired well on 2nd hand prices either, which i think goes to show, enthusiasts who heralded the arrival of the Gt86 are not what the general public want. So if when it comes out in the next few years i had the money for a new car, the only thing i have seen showcased i would like to own is the FT1 (looks alone, no mention again of price, engine), its going to have to match that for looks all being equal.
  8. Some of the most popular shows on TV are I'm A Celebrity, X Factor and Strictly. Doesn't make them good just because people are talking about them, or because they're pulling the viewers in. I agree, such shows are pure drivel, so i dont watch them
  9. Repeated at 7 tonight for those that missed it or for those that want to watch just to be sure its not about car reviews
  10. If your only worried about neighbours, the Apexi will do the job well, but wouldnt recommend one if your trying to get round noise limits on track
  11. I remember those days, but enjoy the show for what it is now and not "everyone" moans about it, it is what it is and is never going to be what it was, hardly like its a sudden new format, its been like this for years
  12. If only remote controls came with the ability to change channels....... How quick was that Lambo, nearly 4 seconds quicker than a 458!
  13. New series starts tonight for those looking forward to it
  14. I had one of these for an Rx7 i owned, very effective but will mess up your ar ratios, basically you are fitting a huge restricter in the exhaust, i would suggest getting a mid box welded in if its too loud
  15. If you dont want to change performance stick to 18's, such as Ian's Enkeis. 18's for go, 19's for show
  16. Most definitey a Lamborghini guy Did i not read though something to do with the steering system (?) lets it down?
  17. I have no idea but could you not do it under a "charity", they do raffles and believe they are allowed too (could be wrong though)? Obviously you would need to register a charity but guess that would be cheaper than gaming licenses
  18. That looks very similar to: Just a bit more angry
  19. You worded it right, everyone knows what your talking about but: You do know how big (more so small) a mm is right. 4mm is immaterial, 12mm barely noticeable, not to mention the issues with tcs again if you go almost 4% out Will leave you to it
  20. For example, most people run a 275/35/19 the next profile up is 275/40/19, thats an extra 25mm give or take, so you have raised your ride height 12.5mm and filled your arch gap 12.5mmm (tcs issues again which you dont seem to want to acknowledge), hardly noticeable anyway in my opinion, if 1cm ish is all your have to play with i suggest. 1) Give up 2) Get air 3) Avoid the areas you know you cant go
  21. yes this! this is what i mean by raising the ground clearance with bigger wheels, BUT then lowering onto the wheels. in doing so the arch gap can be reduced over OEM, without suffering a ground clearance loss over OEM. (give or take some mm's) Am i just not explaining this right? You wont change the ground clearance with bigger wheels though, the only way to change the ground clearance is to run bigger profile tyres (change the rolling radius) and then you will have nasty fat balloon tyres like a van or 4 x 4, which will then make your expensive alloys look sh*t.
  22. Personally i dont think you will see a noticeable difference with mm's of extra profile, 10mm/20mm is neither here nor there over the entire radius, your talking 5mm or 10mm of arch gap filled (let alone tcs issues) I am with Docwra, an awesome bodykit and decent rims will be lost if your riding high as per Grundys post. Good luck with the project
  23. Because thats what it will look like running high profile tyres by trying to fill your arch gap, it will also most likely play havoc with your tcs if dont keep the rolling radius very near the same. If you need a compromise Tein springs offer a slight drop
  24. It would then look like your runing 4 x 4 wheels and tyres. Just avoid routes with speed humps and the places it scrapes
