  1. I think its a proper scary circuit, still havent mastered avon rise/quarry and although tower corner is straight forward, you are carrying a lot of speed and the crash barriers straight ahead look very very close (actually they are, lol) , so always a little cautious there as cant quite disengage the brain enough to brake at the last minute. Think Bruno Senna put a std GTR round there in 1.14.5
  2. No contradiction I have always said, violence should not be tolerated, have you got that yet? I am trying to deal in what little facts we have, you just want to talk hypothetical situations to justify yourself. In no way, shape or form with what happened with JS have absolutely anything to do with this. The world was a very very different place back then, not condoning it, just fact. No need for an investigation, sit the producer and JC down and ask what happened. So so so simple, all finished and done with. If they admit punches were thrown, perhaps then you would need to call on others if you need to make a judgement, or just sack him.
  3. How you are allowed to get away with making up these stories is completely beyond me. In some respects, I admire your sheer nerve but if 50% of your posts had a grain of truth to them you'd have lived the most eventful life of any human being on the planet! Lying or not, If you believe life is sorted out in disciplinary hearings you have lived a very sheltered life, the stories i could tell you about work incidents would have you shaking in a corner. Always got sorted and no one got fired, got to be a bonus surely Interesting that you took such exception to my thicko remark but you dont think it might be offensive to imply that you could reduce someone you don't know to shaking in a corner with one of your 'stories'. If I end up shaking in a corner it would be with laughter at the fact that you've just tried to turn this entire thread into a competition about who the most manly man is. Just as it was wrong of me to characterise everyone who likes JC as thick, it's just too simplistic and naive to imply that anyone ŵho understands that not everything at work can be sorted out in a blokey way is a wimp. What does the inexperienced 18 year old girl whose just started work in an office and finds that she's being bullied and sexually harassed by her older more experienced male manager do? Offer him a fight around the back of the building? Get her Dad down to beat him up? Shut up and put up with it because if she complains and someone investigates, she's just a PC moaner right? I took zero offence to your thicko comment, If thats what you think and want to say, fill your boots. As you well know, I took offence to fact you seem to think Its ok for you to express your view but not JC because of your dislike for him and whenever there is bad press you jump on the witch hunt. You even seem to think Its ok to call WW a liar, i am presuming you dont know him or anything about him, but its fine for you to question his integrity? Not very pc of you, sounds like an assumption JC would make and say. Please can you stop with your hypothetical siutations to justify your opinion, there Is a time and a place for both our views imho, but in this case, believing the latest "stories" of the event. A man shouted and swore at a fellow employee...... Big deal, pop your handbags down and get back to work. Just so you sure though, If and its a big if at the moment, punches were thrown, an investigation is necessary, but only because of the media attention, dont see either sporting any bruises which you can be damn sure there would if the press could get a photo as "evidence". P.s I cant believe you have tried to make this thread all about, who Is the most intelligent because of ones behaviour and attitude to the events.

  5. I pretty much disagree with everything you say but thats just a matter of opinion, neither of us is right or wrong! Who would rather work for, neither, hence why i work by myself and sub contract, so i dont have to put up with pc nonsense, imho of course
  6. I for one would prefer to retain the person who made my company the most money This is the argument in a nutshell. Are there more important issues in corporate life than the pursuit of profit? I for one would prefer to retain the person who made my company the most money This is the argument in a nutshell. Are there more important issues in corporate life than the pursuit of profit? Maybe the company I currently work for is an exception then - they take the longer term view that investment in peoples wellbeing is paramount and yes you might lose a few £ in the short term getting rid of bad eggs if they make good money but theres always someone else equally capable but doesnt disrupt the workforce. The company I work for makes a lot of money globally, maybe that gives them the opportunity to get rid of bad eggs and bullies but its not like they have only just started doing this its been the culture from the start. Longer term, leaving bullies and bad eggs in your business is bad business no matter how important or good at making money they think they are. No one sets up a company (unless a charity) to just get by and invest in peoples wellbeing, its all about the £. Companies are there to make money. I employ people who can do the job they are there to do, if their job is too make my company money, i want the one who can make me the most and no, there wont be a replacement, loose TG as it is, like or not and you will end up with some guff like 5th gear which is demoted to discovery

  8. Well maybe thats exactly like you say, when you work on a building site, if someone thinks your a c**t, they tell you (even the boss), on the most part, you have a "chat" put it in the past and get on with it, job done, finished, over and forgotten about and i personally think the world is better for it, too much bitching and whining these days. I do work for a guy who used to run a national company, 100's, possible 1000's of staff, when asked if he missed it, hell no, i spent the last 10 years being a social worker for all the staff issues.
  9. This thread is remarkable, in what realm of fantasy are the haters living!!! Rumours flying round and your like vultures on a corpse. Ohhhh but he hit someone at work, ohhhh he used abusive language, but wait, the biggest thing that would concern me as an employer and NO one mentions was: He was PI**ED at WORK!!!!! But in reality, he wasnt even at work, it was 11pm and wasnt being filmed.......and if he was "at work" i would imagine his employers would have far more concern that he was drunk on the job, but not one mention of that here OR by the BBC! I would love to see how you lot would get on in the world if your every action was scrutinised by your boss out of hours!
  10. I dont think anyone seems to bothered about facts, the JC haters want him dismembered due to their dislike of him and are prepared to jump on any bit of anti JC press as usual, the people that enjoy TG just want to watch the show
  11. So the story is: A man got drunk and a bit lairy! Well he must be hung, drawn and quartered, what a terrible state of affairs, absolutely shocking behaviour!
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_p8AZzVmWI Similar to the above you mean ; ) Suspect you might be wrong John Prescott as a MP assaulted someone for egging him
  13. Main reaction, didnt look they were going that fast, but, chinos and trainers on a bike, very silly!
  14. Is like that JC making an apology for comments he has made but they are still not accepted If you think people that like him are 40 something thickos thats completely fine, you are entitled to your opinion, its a FREE world
  15. How utterly hypocritical that you feel its completely acceptable for you to air your derogatory comments on the "forty something thickos" etc but not ok for him to air his views, which he hasnt by the way, just sailed close to the wind with comments that have self righteous people like you leaping to your moral high ground. Let me point out, i am not the least bit offended by being a 40 something thicko etc, in fact for the very reason above i think its quite laughable, i love freedom of speech and if thats what you think, fill your boots, but dont be so quick to have your say and condemn others for doing the same. Four words to rearrange: Cup, in, tea, storm You've admirably proved my point and missed 'the' point with your hysterical post. If you think that punching a work colleague amounts to a storm in a teacup I'm glad I don't work with you! Thank you for taking the time to read not two posts after where i clearly say, i do not condone violence!!!! Till we all know the exact story, best not jump on the media bandwagon like you and start preaching about violence, racial hatred etc etc If he hit someone, he should be fired, simple! There is nothing hysterical about my post either, its pretty simple, you think its ok for you to be slanderous and air an opinion (40 something thickos) but not him, the subject matter is irrelevant. It certainly isnt some inane rantings because of your hatred for JC like your post, your entitled to your opinion, him his, just because you dont like it because it "offends" you, who cares, far more important things to worry about in the world and if the minority stopped being so bl**dy self righteous the world would be a better place, each to their own Find a crusade which actually matters!
  16. I will add a long with everyone: I do not condone violence (if this is actually case)

  18. Quote: The family was in utter shock he joined..... Guessing they had their heads well and truly buried in the sand.....
  19. Make sure your neighbours are buttered up nicely and happy, doubt they will refuse if they dont complain
  20. I am curious about this and maybe someone can put me right. Lets say you had been caught speeding by all the cameras within 10 mins of each other (just as an example). Surely if you are speeding, you are speeding, its not separate crimes, i,e you can get done for killing someone twice, or more realistically, if you robbed a shop, you wont get done for each item you rob, just you were stealing. I do remember in my biking days there was a case of a guy who got flashed by 3 cameras on a beach front promenade somewhere, he took it to court and that was his defence, i was speeding, its one offence, not multiple, sadly i cant remember the outcome
  21. If there was ever a reason to fight the cause re circuit noise regs, Thruxton is it, drilled into the ground by nimbies and a great shame, as someone mentioned elsewhere a std 350z is apparently 92db. I am guessing they do well with their experience days but not even sure there is actually a lot of race meetings there now because of noise, touring cars and bsb of any note!
  22. Thruxton Is such a great track, did a couple of bike track days there. Such a shame its so utterly restrictive on noise levels, 88db.
  23. A google search will put you in the right place for centre consul removal with step by step guide including photos. Radio band expanders are fine and will do the job, pretty sure from memory you need a positive supply to them so you will need to do some simple wiring too.
  24. I there is anyone who lives in Redland perhaps you could pm, I need to ask a favour. Thanks
