  1. I may have to try that - I'm just a bit wary of spraying stuff on the car and damaging the paintwork It says safe for all surfaces. As they seem to live behind the mirror (i get them too) i would just squirt some on the mirror and behind if your worried.
  2. I have never tried it but you can get some stuff called Spider Away, bizarrely its a boat product, but hear it works. http://www.gaelforcemarine.co.uk/en/Starbrite-Spider-Away-650ml-Spray/m-3316.aspx?gclid=Cj0KEQjw_YKtBRC7zZjFp8bF_foBEiQAfyigcx4QfwmfOvbkzWUGobJjLnj7Qc1M4Pi2y7jQMSdkL5saArl_8P8HAQ&utm_source=google&utm_medium=shopping&utm_campaign=UnitedKingdom
  3. As above, http://cdw-tuning.de/shop/nissan/350z.html Very well made rear bumper, fitment is spot and uses original mounting points, even boot release mounts as original, side guides etc as seen in photos. Tuv approved, not that it makes any difference over here but should go to prove quality. Would look awesome if you cut the exhaust surround out like some do with the chargespeed. I have some fitment photos on my phone i can send on if desired. Side skirts to match (viable in link) and will be advertised once they are off. Sprayed in gunmetal but a couple of stress fractures (photo'd) and minor blemishes. £175 collected from Bournemouth area.
  4. Based on what I have been in or driven I would go C63, its just puts a smile on your face Although, I could be swayed by the M3 as its probably the best of the bunch imho, discounting the Mustang as never been in one, which is probably the same for everyone on here ; )
  5. Not forgetting that grooved help clean the pads and offer better bite and can offer more friction than solid discs, if we are talking physics of course The reason most road car discs are solid is for quieter operation, absolutely nothing to do with stopping power or distance I thought the reason was the same as most things, solid discs are cheaper to make and provide acceptable stopping power. I'm now not that keen on drilled discs and have seen discs crack around the holes when they get hot. ideally any holes need to have been cast in the disc in the first place, rather than drilled out afterwards. Its not unknown, usually quality discs will not suffer with this

  7. As above, not fussed about colour, but must have all mounting tabs etc intact. I have a UK spec in gunmetal if anyone fancies a swap

Ian was selling some, not sure if he still is
  9. OK, car is now back to std in the suspension/exhaust department and on std Rays with good tyres, Michelins ss on the back, Dunlop Sp Sport 01's on the front. Sub box and amp removed internally, otherwise as you see it above. Still looks the same, albeit higher (i.e nismo front/skirts & chargespeed rear) Original interested part who i gave first refusal to cannot confirm a collection time/date so: Berks, hks exhaust, suspension etc can be sold with the car but will also be individually for sale as of next week. Photos to follow as is now
  10. Why would he sail off the road and into a ditch because he has cross drilled and grooved discs? If you dont want to spend the earth op, i would go with some ebc discs
  11. Mazdarotary club forum was a paid up thing, but you did feel part of a club more than just access to a forum, news letters, membership packs, certain perks etc As a paid member you also got to see for sale adds before non members so it had it benefits. They were very tight on forum etiquette and ignoring rules and mods were often slandered for over moderating, hence why fduk was set up, but that went completely the other way and was like a bun fight, every man for himself and pretty much say what you want, the mods only got involved when people made physical threats, it was very very rare for a thread to be taken down or locked.
  12. The only question you need to ask: How expensive will it be
  13. Or mine with half the miles Probably a bit far from the op though. Personally dont see that car as being that cheap, i was expecting a lot less.
  14. This seems to be a commonly used "discussion" point, but there is a massive difference, the motor vehicle was ground breaking compared to the horse and infinitely better on every level (barring perhaps environmentally), the battery powered ev is not better than ice, ev's have been around for many many years as per your post number 184 link, the only advancement is because of environmental pressure groups, not because it is in any way any shape or form revolutionary, as per horse to car.
  15. Great looking car 120 mile range and $529k dollars, not so great being purely factual
  16. I still also maintain whilst there are such revenues to be gained from oil, be that companies, goverments, even entire countries, we will never see a truly viable alternative on any front, be that battery, hydrogen etc
  17. Isnt this like anything in life, if you want to believe something, you will, that is no personal dig at the op by the way, we are all guilty of it. Hell, some people believe walking down a beach taking out innocent people with an ak47 will result in a better world. I admire the op's enthusiasm, its not for me though, if battery tech, grid supply etc can all advance, why not hydrogen fuel cells, its just another problem to overcome, same as ev shortcomings.
  18. Because it could be a very cheap fix I know there are some stupid and lazy people out there, but If you had the intelligence and interest in the car to put berks on your probably switched on enough to know about 02 spacers or cost of a pair of 2nd hand cats, cant believe a trader on here wouldnt not have also advised this also.
  19. Forumla 3 or 3000 from memory
  20. Surely if he knows the fault it would be easy to just change the cats and sell for the right money.
  21. Mechanic apparently, after taking a few things off today he didnt do anything by halves thats for sure, very thorough.
