  1. I am sure i have read on here some where the M variant is too harsh and handling suffered because of it, the std one is deemed a better car. Surely you just might as well buy a Zed for half the money if its going to be track car?
  2. If I hadnt had a Chargespeed on my old Zed I would have bought it, but going for a different look on my new one.
  3. That's already in place, it's called insurance. If the bank of mum and dad is big enough, its not a factor. So what would be the two things people would like to see introduced most to the test etc Motorway driving Overtaking
  4. No, not mp's, you could even buy a vote for £3.
  5. I think we will always have disagreements on certain view points in life. I don't have a big enough pre-tax income to warranty needing an accountant - well not yet anyways, ask me in a few years . But even I can see how not paying tax on £120K is a proposition you don't want to ignore, regardless of your views on cars - especially given the end product is get to drive a P85D - which in it self costs next to nothing to run. I also made it pretty clear I didn't have the cash for P85D, and actually the most biggest sales pitch I got was when he gave me his card at the end of the test drive, and told me to just email him when I'm ready to order, and he'll sort out test drive in what ever Model S model configuration I wanted . Agreed, who wouldnt want to save money, but that is only if you are putting it through as a company car Your suggesting that people are buying Teslas instead of Ferraris, or the salesman was, as mentioned, do you really believe people who are looking to buy a 458 (or whatever hypercar) think, do you know what, i think i will get a Tesla instead, i know your a Tesla fanboi but not even you believe that spiel
  6. If his own party didnt vote for him, cant see it being a good thing. Seems like the unions are once again trying to rule the country with their choice of leader.
  7. I would seriously consider some Eibach anti roll bars, transforms the handling imho.
  8. Obviously you boys arent looking too hard: £200 on Amazon for original http://www.amazon.co.uk/Charge-Speed-0260-Bumper-Nissan/dp/B00DOPIGBS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1442229607&sr=8-1&keywords=350z+chargespeed
  9. Your missing the point, no one is trading in their 458 for a Tesla so it makes zero difference what tax they do or dont pay, they will probably have a Tesla or alternate ev/hyrbid as well for the tax breaks if they want to put a car through the company books you do know he is a "salesman", he wants to sell you a car
  10. You really believe someone who can afford a 458 is worried about tax implications??
  11. Ah I just hate that word, "damp", wet or dry and you know where your at, but hate the unpredictability of greasey tarmac. So sorry to see this Andy, cant add anything that hasnt already been said.
  12. Best just get your ecu mapped, it will release a few hp and remove the throttle limits in the first couple of gears No harm getting a UK cluster either way as you are then reading in mph without the need for chip converters or speed limit defender.
  13. Ah ok, asthestics. I dont really struggle with front end grip on a 245 so was curious
  14. Fiberglass does come in different weights, but its pretty much the same product, its brittle by nature, so will crack, not flex. If your talking a clear wrap it will protect against stone chips, but wont stop cracks or stress fractures. P.s Ep racing does not have the best reputation, best try one of the traders on here, your far more likely to get a better response if you fitment issues, Tarmac sportz are well regarded.
  15. Imho thats way over tyred on the front, why bigger than 245?
  16. Weekend bump for some quality forged alloys
  17. I walked the paddock a couple of times and asked 2 other e46 owners if they were you, they werent obviously, lol Were you behind me on the sighting laps as a thought?
  18. Ecu wont work as your key is coded to it, so you will have to get your key reprogrammed.
  19. Absolutely awesome I am big follower of MotoGp and there was a rumour that Ducati becoming part of Audi would lead to a track day car using the Ducati engine at its heart. The problem (for me at least), is all these track focussed cars come at such a cost. Bike engines of today produce such good hp: Bmw S100RR 199hp RI 197hp Zx10r 210 All the above bikes cost £12k ish, how come something cant be put together for circa £20k to £25k?
  20. I have searched the web but cant seem to find any info or images of this, it is an oem Nissan boot matt, carpet or protector. The rear is a soft thin rubber layer, the top is like a tight weave carpet with added ribs for her pleasure. Maybe someone might be able to enlighten me, genuine Nissan part though, it has a label. Excellent condition £60 posted
  21. Weather was great, sadly had to get back to work and was just a test of the new zed Sure Graham will have some
  22. Good to meet up with Graham and his wife today, didnt see Commander though, only saw 2 e46's. Good through the noise test, in fact, they couldnt have been more helpful, maybe they are just trying not to attract the wrong crowd. I went round on my bike in 98, either my balls were much larger then or memory was slightly fuzzy, god that track is quick
