    Painted Rays

Gold on white is very jdm, looks awesome, dont like dark as the photos above, the wheel is lost and looks like its covered in brake dust
  2. A large number of items in the for sale section should give you the answer Although I do believe the conversion was sold so maybe it will live on
  3. I really dont see fuel prices come into play, it is a lot like Ekona says about ved rates between de's, if anyone wouldnt buy one for the sake of a few tanks of fuel over a year, they probably wouldnt have one in the first place. 5000 miles pa @ roughly 25mpg is 900 litres, add 40p to todays prices that and its only £360, hardly worth worrying about if you ask me.
  4. ^^^^This Big capacity engines are also thin on the ground, unless your buying German or exotica which the mainstream cant afford or possibly even want, so might be another reason for them holding their value, but i would say more so, there is no direct replacement as above.

    which tyres?

Lovely welcoming post To be fair, the tyre question is asked on a weekly basis and we do have a whole section on tyres and the answer is always the same

    tyres

Dont take offence, but there is a whole section on tyres, a quick scan will give you the answer
  7. Will drop by, not sure which day yet
  8. Cool buddy, can drop them over to the shed if your on site this week?
  9. That made for a difficult read.... To sum up, MG driver was a tw*t
  10. Mine used to judder when pulling away (particularly reverse) and under load, i knew it wasnt the clutch as the previous owner had replaced it but being a cheapskate he hadnt done the flywheel, a few revs hid the problem, when i eventually got round to it, the flywheel was the culprit as suspected.
  11. Just right for you to spray, carbon dip , wrap, whatever you fancy etc so you dont have to have your car off the road for too long, then sell yours on. Excellent condition, does not contain airbag you will have to swap yours over when ready, very very easy. Inspiration here (possibly): http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/99591-new-edition/page__st__20#entry1539746 £50 posted
  12. Slow on the build front as other things have been consuming my time. Decided to start with a little interior refresh, sad to say, i liked my old interior so much, i decided to do the same again as i think it makes it much more modern looking, plush and generally a nicer place to be, so dash wrap time. Old dash out: New dash in: If your really bored you can do silly things like: Drivers side: Hopefully next week will get my consul back, sprayed black with a very light gold fleck, stereo in and will update the pics
  13. Seen a fair few professors but no Meisters, still got it in mind mate.
  14. Love a classic The local Yam dealer has an RD500 still in the crate, never even pdi'd

    Side skirts

Looking for something, anything, inc oem as a stand in till I get to order something up, must be gunmetal though as dont want to get into spraying costs.
  16. Fujitsubo Legalis R, they made the Nismo S Tune
  17. As above, air intake temp is the key, not the engine running cooler. Fi'd cars are a lot more susceptible to intake temps, hence intercoolers and on my rx7's I used to run water injection.
  18. Possibly because it was never a Uk option, have you tried the specialists as it does seem very high.
  19. Some good advice from dedicated track drivers above. I am very much for using the car you have, sure you will get a grasp for car control in any rwd, but, imho, you wont learn the limits of the car you have until you try. Whilst you may get perfectly happy with the performance of an Mx5 and take liberties on track etc, your never going to know the 350's until you try, so might as well just get out on the track in the 350 and get used to driving that at speed if thats your ultimate goal. But, having the, "its only a couple of grand" and "i am going to beat the sh8t out of it" is only going to end messily if you ask me
  20. I tried humour with the police, once, lol. After being pulled up and lots of questions, he said, are you known to Bournemouth Police sir, i replied, Yes, he got quite animated and if i had given them a false name etc, after a little back and forth he said, so for what reason are you known to Bournemouth Police, i said "i have a couple of mates that work there....... 3 points and £60 fine
  21. Some say he is fuelled by donuts and if he was seen in a magazine he would have the perfect face for radio
  22. I would put the money towards driver training, hammering round a track with a disposable car and lack of skill is possibly going to end far worse than just putting it into a wall as you say and whilst it may be a safer place to hone your skills, you still going to need someone to tell you what to do and when. The money you will save from 2 x tax, 2 x insurance, 2 x mot, 2 x running costs + purchase cost etc will go a long long way in training to give you the confidence to take the Zed out on track or more so, know how to save it if it goes wrong on the road. You can also get track insurance, recommended, if you decide to take the Zed out.
  23. 1000bhp per tonne it almost cheating
