Yeah i have heard this, but have a trade account with a battery specialist for when i was involved with marine electronics so should be pretty cheap
-
Had a search but cant find the answer, what are the specs/size of the std UK battery. I am pretty sure mine isnt right as its a fair bit smaller than the tray so just wanted to confirm before i buy one from the local battery place (just in case they dont know)

I would imagine there are 1000's of drivers over the limit from the night before every morning who dont even think they are, but.... If your over the limit though, there is little argument i am afraid, i am not that clued up on the limits (blood alcohol), but would guess he would have been pretty well over to receive an instant ban, especially if it meant loosing his job. A question i imagine a lot would come back with is, How would you feel "if" he had an accident and killed a family member, would you have felt sorry for him then or anyone else?

Make use of the bits already there, intercooler spray bar and water injection, should be plenty enough to keep that sort of hp in check, unless Coldel decides to make use of the anti lag which i am hoping he will

As mentioned above, swap out you diff to change gearing. Try the lower ratio auto diff, will be cheap (if doable).

Absolutely agree, but as Afghan, if we play by the rules, "we" will never win, I am not sure we really won in Afghan tbh. Maybe the job we did was good enough to keep a lid on the Taliban and perhaps the same could be done with regards to Isis. I do think we need a very different code on conduct though to be truly succesful and allow the action on them be swift, we were in Afghan way way too long. Main point for me, we need support from other Muslim countries, it should not just be up to "us'.

At the risk of teaching you to suck eggs buddy, i reckon your just used to the kick from the turbo off the Impreza when it made full boost probably around mid to 3/4 revs, all cars make their hp at the top end and in an n/a there is going to be no noticeable jump in power, its just very linear. My torque curve on my v3 charged zed is near flat and i absolutely love it compared to my Rx7 which was like an on off switch with the way the power was made. In regard to your other thread about gear speeds, maybe swap out the diff to a lower final drive as it perhaps the gearing that is the all round issue here. I dont know if its possible 100% (sure it is) to swap out to an auto diff they are a lower final drive and might make the gearing more suited to what you want. There is also a case for swapping out to a single mass flywheel and decats, it will certainly rev a bit quicker with those Much more responsive.

Spoiler or bumper?

I believe bolting them on to you car also "saves weight" Enjoyed that too Exactly, nice bit of kit, but bugs the hell out of me that "we" are supposedly that gullible

Who would have known that all us trackday enthisiasts needed to do was pay £150 and install these as Aerokit say they shave seconds of lap times....

Whilst this is a very emotive subject, there is a HUGE difference, the people who died in Paris are innocent civillians out for a nice night out NOT learning how to kill said innocent civillians at training camps. No one is making this a "race" topic, its about ISIS and nothing more, incidentally i heard one of terrorists was a white westerner just for clarity As for the media controlling minds, i should look no further than the hate preachers grooming individuals to carry out these attrocities

My elbow is attracted to the heated seat button
Jetpilot replied to Jeff king's topic in 350Z General
Perhaps he thinks your driving is hazardous? -
As you say, get a boost controller on there anyway, even if you dont up the boost, you will notice the difference in the way it boosts, will be much more positive. And yes, of course up the boost, thats the joys of owning a turbo

Bigger brakes will not necessarily give you more stopping power, but they are much better in dispersing heat to allow for continued abuse on track. I have never had issue with uprated pads and discs on a 350. Same track day once a friend in a 350, slightly slower times than me, boiled his brakes, same set up.

Absolutely, dont want boots on the ground either Stu, i dont think they work solely on the basis we fight by rules of engagement, not necessarily a good thing in these circumstances. Literally, massive huge and on going air strikes and missiles launched from ships, subs etc etc
-
I hear that But the training camps are a different entity are they not? I am not talking about going to "war" like with the Taliban, but direct targeting of the training camps, absolutely until nothing is left standing, not pin point uav attacks.

I dont usually watch the gadget show but they had a curved tv test the other week and i am in the market for a new tv and considered the curved versions. Long and short of it via their tests, they offer no benefit over a flat screen
-
In that case we/they should bomb the sh!t out of the training camps again next week ^^^ Another thing that confuses me, every knows where they are, why are they not just annihilated and just wiped off the face of planet, literally leave nothing but a hole in the ground? If a new one springs up, do it again and again.....

Well the words Porsche and mid life crisis go together well, but you must be over it now if you bought a Zed

I am really struggling with all the drone attacks and general bombings, it seems to have little impact on their resolve. Either do the job right or dont do it all imho.

I dont think the German stuff has to be fair, the 1 series are pretty awesome cars as you know, some offerings from Audi/Merc but i dont see any japanese alternatives and havent for years. There was always something to rival the german benchmarks, maybe not as good but on a budget, there was an alternative Lets see what the next few years brings, i really hope Toyota bring out the new Supra/FT1 and Mazda get that Rx9 going, but there is a void of a few years now where nothing will filter down, so its buy German or older stuff, hence why i reckon the 350 may hold its value.
-
I meant during the production run of the 350z so after 08, which discounts quite a few of the above, most of the others only available as imports. Evo/Impreza ran longer of course, but are no longer. Let me put it another way, what Japanese car would you go to the dealer in the last 5-7 years and buy?
-
In my experience not a chance, they should last much much longer. Curious to ask which track? Drilled/grooved etc will only aid cooling, not add stopping power, well perhaps marginal but nothing worthy of note.

Just bought some mtec discs, very happy and a great price
