  1. I thought he wanted the GT version.
  2. Does the datascan give you fault codes?
  3. Tarmac sportz sourced one and wasnt impressed with the quality of fitment so tread carefully.
  4. I guess if you understand data it will float your boat, but cars are a mechanical thing, the readings are just varying signals from sensors, you will soon know if something isnt within range as the car will run rough/throw a cel, of course some things are worth monitoring, but you have them anyway, fluid temps and pressures, battery voltage etc, forgive me for saying, but sounds like you are in danger of over analysing.
  5. About time you changed the wheel if you ask me
  6. Absolutely, some mods will divide opinion, which is the name of the game, some things are universally disliked and a very very poor decision, these being one of them. Take a look at one of the most useful and informative sites from the US, Rimtuck, the gospel if you like Not a 21" in sight and just a handful of 20's: Its all well and good promoting 20's because thats what you run, but when the op goes out and buys a set and realises the handling & feel is totally compromised dare i say ruined (being polite) and his hard earned had been wasted and no one is going to want to give him their ear wax for them, i doubt you would feel that pleased.
  7. Specifically what data are you talking about? If anything was out to the point of concern you would probably know about it anyway as the car would be running rough.
  8. If your using run of the mill sticky foams pads they are pretty bad, you need some 3m vhb stuff. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3M-VHB-5952-100-x-100mm-ACRYLIC-FOAM-DOUBLE-SIDED-ATTACHMENT-EXTREMELY-STRONG-/321825242157?hash=item4aee477c2d:g:B14AAOSwcu5UR~gH
  9. Probably from all the retching when you saw those wheels
  10. I am the same as you, always like the window down, but when its raining its just a no go i am afraid.
  11. Why is everyone getting rid of decent size injectors?
  12. Used to do a fair bit of off roading but only touched on green laning, it was really tricky to find the genuine green lanes (legal byeways) and when I did it there didnt seem to be many clubs and it was the very early days of forums. My nephew does it and loves it, there are regular ride outs so he goes along to learn the routes, he also does a few enduro days at organised events which are very cheap. Its not for me anymore, I wouldnt take a bike anywhere near a road, no matter how brief it might be to get to the next offroad trail.
  13. Speak to fake ben taylor, he seems very well versed.
  14. Not that i want to help someone put a hideous wheel in a hideous size on a gorgeous car, but they are Mania Racing Mgm's, utter utter gash!
  15. So would i if i am honest, not forgetting that money has probably been taxed already as earnings.

    Audi R8

Absolutely agree about the floor limit, but the r8, amv8, gtr etc are in the grand scheme of things are just not that special for their value to remain solid or that high, on the most part, they are mass produced and common and once the 2nd v10 prices start to get close its inevitable, as ultimately its the r8 people would prefer to own. I will say they are a good buy but not a sure fire safe bet
  17. And Ukip got 3,881,099 votes and ended up with one seat, some 12.5% of the vote, snp got 1,454,436 and ended up with 56 seats, go figure.

    Audi R8

The R8 will depreciate at some point. I know there are a few cars holding firm, gtr, r8, amv8 as examples but its just not sustainable imho, when the newer versions start to come down these will have to follow suit.
  19. Aimed at the sprinkles I am guessing
  20. Starbucks is a franchise, so they wont be opening or closing any stores.
  21. Yup, absolutely the same. The rules are the rules, if you don't like them then change them, but then don't be surprised when companies take their business elsewhere. Like Starbucks, Amazon, google and all the others would suddenly stop employing people in the UK and having bases of operation here, sorry dont believe that for one minute, the problem is they are just too big to challenge, scare tactics and nothing more. Good topic of conversation though, are tax evasion and avoidance one and the same.
  22. What about companies, do you think thats a different kettle of fish or same rules apply, if they can they will and its moral?
  23. I have hfcs on a true dual on a Vortech V3, very quiet exhaust and passed at Thruxton the most stringent in the country, 90db static. As Ekona says, for the few extra hp the decats give you its just not worth the hassle and you probably wont even notice the hp lost.
