  1. Probably just a cursory glance through some classifieds where on the surface it does look like the low end figure. I am sure we have all been there when selling a car and you get the muppet telling you he can buy one for a grand or more less.
  2. Ive been burned so many times with replicas, even replicas that have been recommended, I just wont take the risk anymore, as Pault says, its just a lottery as to what you may get. The problem is there are just so many factors to take into account, mold quality, lay up procedure, time in the mold, post mold care, materials etc etc and basically you get zero quality control with any of the above as they just dont have time vs cost they are charging. Rt performance allow 2 days to fit and paint one of their Chargespeed rear copies (not something they tell you before you buy incidentally), at £250 - £300 plus a day for most bodyshops you can see how quickly costs spiral. So how long would it take to bolt up an oem (original item) front/rear bumper like Andy bought, 30 mins, I appreciate spray time is involved but thats the easy bit. So you either have a replica costing very close to what an original costs but still doesnt fit quite as well. Sorry for the essay, but so much to factor in thats often forgotten or ignored.
  3. I have registered on the Datascan forum so have asked the question.
  4. Thanks, but because its "lite" will it have all the features?
  5. Seems good but no point moving from torque pro if it doesnt show the extra data i would like, just having a read around and think i have found my answer, it does display oil temp and pressure as its not reported by the ecu, which is off as we have an oil pressure gauge. Can anyone confirm?
  6. Just before i download Nissan Datascan II over my current torque pro, what parameters will it let you see, i am interested in things like, oil temp and pressure, afr's etc which torque pro does not provide. I cannot seem to find a list of parameters it shows.
  7. Round button on the left i think from memory will be for dipping the mirrors when you put it in reverse (feature on jdm cars), yellow almost definitely the fog light.
  8. I can believe it (maybe a bit early though) since its release and apart from the 370, what other rwd sports coupes have come out of Japan, plenty of choice in the 90's, Supra, S2000, Rx7 etc
  9. Its not quite as simple as that, do you want poke or no poke, stretch or no stretch, do you want to roll/flair your arches etc etc
  10. Wheels are back, will get them on after the track day next week.
  11. I also have a £200 gift card i can use at PC World.
  12. Thanks, dont really want to spend that much if its not necessary and a lower end will do the job, it will literally be used for nothing more than mentioned, otherwise i would be looking at something more advanced.
  13. Cant see them for much less than £100. Really dont need top end, just if the bottom end will do the job of running some basic apps.
  14. I am going buy a 7" tab to run some apps in the car, nissan datascan, harrys laptimer etc. Not being a great techie do I need to consider anything or will a cheapy suffice, something like the hipstreet or asus?
  15. I have a feeling Tarmac Sportz may do them, but unsure of cost. You can of course buy cheaper, but you will be sacrificing quality and fitment.
  16. He speaks the truth, its probably classed as sexist, but there are many things we are not allowed to say these days because of being labelled even though they may be true.
  17. You might find Merlin Motorsport have a few on display at Castle Combe circuit near you, I seem to remember thats roughly your area, whilst not extensive it may give you an idea.

    Cat C

For the 2nd time, a VIC test has absolutely nothing to do with checking the repairs or road worthiness, (visual) or otherwise, it is a, Vehicle Identity Check, to reduce cloning or ringers. It is also invalid as of October 2015, you no longer need a VIC test to get a logbook. Nothing wrong with a Cat C, but unless its well priced and your aware resale may take a while go for it, I would feel more comfortable knowing its been fully checked over though.
  19. Seibon are well regarded with good fitment and quality.
  20. What are the o rings included for please gents?
  21. Would very much doubt you would have bonnet catches on anything made of steel. Nice find though
  22. A big thanks to Chris, couldnt have offered a better service if he tried
