  1. ^^^ Good answer I watched that programme a while back about how to circumnavigate the system, one office block had something like 40k companies registered there!!!! Imho its no different to F1 drivers "living" in Monaco to avoid tax.
  2. The problem is which is clearly apparent, there are so many ways around the law, i cant see it ever being a closed book, if there are loopholes, people will find and exploit them.
  3. So with the news of offshore accounts (hardly new news) and tax avoidance i thought i would ask, whats peoples views? Personally, if companies are trading from the UK they should pay the correct tax, but i have zero problems with personal offshore accounts, imho, if your taxed on your earnings that should be it, no capital gains tax etc especially at the rate its at.
  4. What in gods name is that awful kit
  5. I have my eyes on a totally standard RZ Supra with original Recaros just sat on a driveway (has been the last 3 years), been regularly checking and drop the occasional note through the door. Nothing yet.....
  6. Will be only good for a guide, i have read different db's at different tracks with the same set up. Think you may struggle with decats.
  7. If i can bring myself to sign onto the forum again i will have a look for a good one, but imagine 10 Ekonas in one small forum
  8. I mean as a daily, that will not sit well with a modded rotary
  9. Thats not anodised, thats a translucent powder, anodising will just come up dull, trust me i have tried. £100 for the set will get them polished, probably £200 to get them powder coated, but its finding someone to do the translucent finish.
  10. Nothing wrong with highly modded, most of mine were, one magazine featured The value these days is oem though so if you change your car a bit, you may wait a while to find the right buyer and if the engine is modded, stay well clear with your driving habits.
  11. I love a polished lip, but just lost the will too live with keeping many sets clean over the years, hence i went black on my Weds, the problem is, let them go just that little too much and a machine polish is the only way to get them back, but as Ekona says, £100 or thereabouts once a year is no biggy imho, but a set of winter rims is advisable. You could always get them lacquered (std wet spray) once polished or even clear anodised, that will protect them but take the edge of the bright finish, or if your feeling brave, get them polished and then powdercoated in a translucent colour, such as: http://wheelsperformancecom.stores.yahoo.net/pocooulip.html
  12. No buddy, just undo the bolts, if your handy with a spanner its easy Three piece are a pain as you have to split the barrels but two piece simples.
  13. Will just be polished. Take em off, drop the centres out and take the barrel to a metal polishers, the only way to get that much corrosion out.
  14. There is no set mileage, my first one had done circa 65k miles without a rebuild and i know the owner after me didnt have to rebuild. 70k - 80k is possible but it all depends on maintenance and use as per any engine. Just buy one rebuilt, its the safest option, or buy one needing a rebuild and have 3 years unlimited mileage warranty from Hayward Rotary, thats the way i would go. Give Hayward a call, they are a really nice bunch of guys and they often have cars for sale too.
  15. Will get my name down for fuel system/pump/injectors/return/maf etc And Ksports All oem replacements available.

    Audi R8

I am with G, a mate paid premium for one when first released, I have to be honest, didnt feel a lot different to a Rs4, cant say anything was bad about it, how could you its a great car, but for me it was under whelming, that may suit some however. V10 or nothing for me, its what it should have been all along. On the flipside i had a spin out in a mates Am v8 last week, i didnt drive and have no doubt the r8 will be a "better" drive, but i got out thinking, that is a car i would like to own and its so so pretty. This supercar bubble will burst at some point.
  17. If you have a Rx7 for sale thats been rebuilt, thats the first thing you mention, not completely forget to mention it, steer clear imho, too much for what it is.
  18. I cant see anywhere where it says its been rebuilt. Odd also they are only boosting it at 6 psi, std twins should be 10 psi from memory.
  19. Unless its had a rebuild, leave well alone, compression results are not that great and to be honest only tell half the story, should be mid to high 7's and it isnt a 99 spec bumper, so if he doesnt know that, what else has he been liberal with the truth with, sorry buddy, there are better than that out there.
  20. Classic status doesnt have to mean they are good, expensive, or an appreciating asset.
  21. There are a few triple rotor rx7's kicking around as they made the triple as standard in the Cosmo, so easy to swap out. 4 rotors are pretty easily built, bolt up two twin rotors and weld up the eccentric shaft. If i ever win the lottery i will commision a short block triple made from the original series 1 rx7 12a rotary.
  22. They are perfect sizes for a 245 & 275, no need to be any wider on a 350 and in reality, offset is conservative but I think they sit well, they are mainly for go not show Appreciate the colour isnt to everyones taste but could be changed in the blink of an eye of next to nothing, I just bought a brand new set of wheels, first stop, colour change
  23. Its getting to that time of year guys, dont miss out, these are the only 18" te37's i can find for sale unless you want to pay £2k from jdmdistro, bargain.
  24. I found one that works but it didnt for Sherlock, its a punt at the end of the day, there is nothing conclusive.
  25. Why is she eating her dinner in the car???? You can see why Skylines are known as Skybus's, its not a bad looking car, but jeez does it look huge compared to a 7
