I think they've both got supplies of both in spades. Many people wet their knickers when Abbott got her sums wrong, Gove doing the same thing didn't so much as raise an eyebrow in the press weirdly The fact that Boris has been locked in Tezza's basement for the last month tells you they've an oversupply of incompetence, when he's been let out; he did a drinks deal in a Sikh temple and also said the missing Brexit £350m turned up in the back of the manifesto. Yeah, it's not there and no they don't fancy a drink Strong and stable. Strong and stable.

I suppose most of us know who we are voting for and why, as aliveboy says, i wonder if anyone who filled that out was surprised by the results and would change their vote accordingly. I don't think I personally know anyone who changes, but there must be loads out there.

Got one from a while back, turns out I was more #teampolarbear than I thought. Better get out and buy some crocs. With SNP, Plaid Cymru and Shinn Féin filling out my Top 5, I've really surprised myself. I was sure I was pro Union

Nice write up, sounds like you had fun and the best kind of brown pants experience, one that didn't cost anything!

She just brought the AE86. Nice choice to have to make!

Whilst you've got her up in the air and doing the slave, clutch and fly it may be worth considering a braided clutch line and some uprated fluid too. Do the lot and you should be sitting pretty for another 50k at least.

20 minutes is a long time, good luck!. Personally, I've worked fine under a number of Managers, but I've worked my nuts off for a few good Leaders. For me, Leaders command respect, not by asking for it, but by earning it. Leaders set the tone, the example to which everyone aspires. I always wanted to impress a Leader; one because praise from people you respect is a buzz, two because you can ride thier coat tails as they progress up the ladder. A Manager may well have the vision but a Leader can get you to give something a go, even if you might otherwise be sceptical.

Out for a bit of a burn today and saw something rather special.

It's really weird that they can't be arsed to wander down the polling station but can be arsed to march on London

Anyone else find it coincidental that the Labour manifesto, which was released in conjunction with full costings of their policies, gets a load of press stick for not being costed. Yet the Tory Manifesto has no costings, but doesn't face the same scrutiny? It's like there's two different yardsticks? Yet it gets even weirder still, George Osbourne was going to wipe out the defeccit by now (remember that pledge?), but thanks to the blindingly brilliant austerity, it's actually doubled. Still he's gone now, so it doens't count, got a good job in the press I hear. Hang on... The only thing I can recall that connects the complete failure of the bulk of the press coverage forgetting to cover these trifling elements, is that the Tory manifesto also abandons the second part of Leveson, they don't fancy looking into press/police corruption. Weird eh?

We already have the lowest Corporation tax rates in the G20. If we need to lower them further to attract big business then it shows how much of a shambles Brexit really is. Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk It's just a myth, it helps a certain demographic believe that business is doing us a favour by allowing our huge number of consumers to have access to it. It's from the same stable as saying taking benefits off the disabled encourages them to do more or food banks are actually a good thing delivering food for "a variety of complex reasons".

It definitely improves boot shutting, the rest of my evidence is from the butt dyno.

I think is bang on, the dream of healthcare and social care for everyone vs the reality of it being for shareholders.

This afternoon I assembled the bulk of my tooling, ready for a major mod. I then proceed to put on my Captain Brave pants. Drilled into the inner skin of the boot lid. Fitted a dirty great rivet. Did some screwing. After a few minutes hard work, the job was complete. Can you tell what it is yet? That's right!!!! It's a boot lid handle, in red! God only knows why there wasn't one from the factory, probably weight saving But as it's aftermarket goodness, it's good for AT LEAST 15bhp, so you know, that covers off the extra weight. Also, it's over the driven wheels, so extra grip and all that. I also found a random boot magnet, silver, on the right. Why would there be a random boot magnet? Other than to catch the metal shavings from my drilling? Answers on a postcard.

I've tidied this up, please try and play nice. Or at the very least, ignore one another.

It's a shame that original spirit of competition driving investment in new technology, to be the best, has been lost and replaced exclusively with "maximising shareholder value".

What's caused you to rotate your turret toward Autobrite?

No need to worry about that lads, after Brexit and The Purge, we'll be making money hand over fist and there'll be tax breaks for all!

I dont know how the contracts for these things work but surely with the massive and constant investment in infrastructure needed for all of the utilities you cant just grab it back from them, hence my comment regarding future profits, the costs of compensating the current owners/shareholders/staff would be enormous. Id also chuck out the example of the railways, we havent properly finished nationalising them and are £44Bn in debt despite a £4Bn subsidy a year. The fact we are even considering tipping £50Bn into HS2 that wont show a return for decades says a lot .......... Wars make money as well, at least they do if you have Rolls Royce, GKN and BAe/Airbus somewhere on your shores ....... I wouldn't pretend to know all the sums around the cost of nationalisation, only someone with intimate knowledge of the commercials could tell you that. The franchises are a commercial shambles, little onus on private industry to invest in infrastructure, due to Network rail being the custodian, yet as soon as there's a delay NR are paying compensation to private companies. Yet despite them not being able to make any money, they can still pay dividends? We're also led to believe that due to a few % increase on corporation tax by Komrade Corbyn all businesses will immediately shut up shop and flee the U.K. to trade in other countries instead. This being the case (apparently!) then it should be easy to hoover up all of the businesses that corporations don't want. Obviously it can't be both unattractive to business and also impossible to pry from their fingers! And let's not pretend there's not countries in both Europe and the Americas that don't have high rates of CT yet are still attractive enough for big business to do them the huge favour of trading there!
-
I think the some of the nationalistion sums add up more than we're meant to believe, not renewing franchises doesn't cost anything and if we can go 10 years or so without doing a war, who knows what money might be saved? That said, if we're not doing a war somewhere, who are we going to be terrified of? I'm more scared of not having to be scared, isn't that the scariest thing?
