They're exactly the sort of things which would be on the list, but who is it out there pining for the "good old days" when you called someone a chink or paki?

Personally, I want a fairly smooth Brexit, retention of freedom of movement and access to the single market. So it wouldn't need a whole lot of finessing. Leaving plenty of time for the other things. Equating a Tory loss to Trumpland, is just plainly incorrect. What would be these colossal Tory achievements that have gone on in the last few years that Labour would reverse, akin to Obamacare. Has the debt been paid off? Has terror stopped? Are NHS waiting lists down? All they've actually achieved is: booting a number of disabled people off benefits sacked 19,000 coppers screwed up what should have been a fairly straight forward referendum brought the NHS to it's knees some schools are asking kids to bring a bog roll in each tax cuts It's not like I'm going to burst into tears if any of these achievements are reversed!!!

Despite recent polling I still think we're on course for a tragic result, there's so many people who won't admit to voting Tory to pollsters.

I'm always curious about the specifics of complaints about considering other people when you speak (a.k.a PC). I can't recall much language I happily used, say 20 years ago, that I'm now not "allowed" to say (obviously you can still say anything you want despite the hype). The only real example I can think of is in the school yard we would call someone "gay" if they were a bit soft or crap at football, that's dropped off since then. The rest, I find, is much as it was. What are these phrases and words people can't say?

Definitely would, have you seen her engage people when they're not vetted!

^^^ #JezWeCan Anyone watch Paul Nuttal talk rubbish? You know he invented the question mark

Just for once, can you recognise that I regularly disagree with Ekona or Jetpilot and sometimes with TT350 and yet, we can all have a discussion, however you seem to find yourself entangled in these multi page tit for tats, with anyone from the opinionated to the most mild mannered members in the community. Who's always the common connection? Why do you think that is? I expect it's largely coincedence and possibly a conspiracy...

You may be right, for now. How long will it last though? it'll get to a point where more and more will be expressive about their radical views and words will become action as they meet decreasing resistance. The difference between "us" and "them" is never more apparent than in articles like this... http://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/pakistan-village-court-sentences-woman-to-death-for-adultery-for-saying-she-was-raped/ar-BBBGcc1?li=AAnZ9Ug I don't want to live under that kind of rule. But do you genuinely believe that after hundreds of years the U.K. is poised to abandon our legal framework and adopt an entirely new justice system? I mean, really genuinely believe that there is even a 1% chance of that happening in real life?

I've long felt the belt covers on the AC and alternator look very much like an afterthought. Accordingly I picked up a Grimmspeed aux belt cover, which conveniently also provides a small tray on which you can rest tools. It also looks rather smart, if I do say so myself. In other news, I went to top up my bubbles and low and behold, it's got it's own dipstick!

Exciting times!

You've done quite well, with many quotes and some rubbish you've pulled from a website. Instead of some insight. Sadly you missed the most important quote opportunity. No doubt getting worked up in a tizz trying to fire off something with a link and what passes for a smart response somewhere, though we can only guess where. So I'll put it in bold below, so you don't make the same mistake a further time. The reason I ask is because is blatantly obvious that, given there isn't all out war on the streets of the UK, that Muslims have already made that choice long ago and are in fact already living under "democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty..."
-
Just so we know. What are our values? What are theirs? Thanks Strudul, but that's not what it says. What it says is that "the real, peaceful muslims" need to choose between our values or theirs. If we say ours are "democracy, the rule of law etc" and then what does that leave for "the real, peaceful muslims" to choose? Or have they already chosen extremism by being Muslim? The reason I ask is because is blatantly obvious that, given there isn't all out war on the streets of the UK, that Muslims have already made that choice long ago and are in fact already living under "democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty..." Que? You're gonna have to post something other than links to have discussion. Assuming you're able to?

That's a tough league. I'll post one up for next season though -
Your friend is feeding you a lot of rubbish. There are lots of ways to stay well hidden on internet, including dark web: VPN, encrypted traffic etc. Weren't the FBI begging apple to unlock a phone quite recently? Didn't we have a parade of MPs asking for encryption "back doors" recently? They can't even access Whatsapp messages! It's not like it's a Defence Grade Comms tool. Too busy cataloging the unsecured billions of text messages from unsecured devices about the Great British Bake Off.

None, at least none Islamic-extremist related that myself or Wiki can see. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_terrorist_incidents_in_Great_Britain There's a few Iranian-related ones, but that's as close as I can see. Is IS not a bit different though? I mean, I can totally see your point over non-interference, but I think we can all agree that IS is a Bad Thing Indeed with no reasonable aims. Unlike the IRA, or even the Israel/Palestine situation, they're not interested in a political goal or taking their land back: They just want to see us wiped out completely. Sitting down with them and agreeing concessions is simply not an option, so what's left? Either sit back and do nothing and watch them murder innocent people in a foreign land, or use military force to wipe them out as best you can (accepting you'll never get 100%)? Tbh neither answer is particularly palatable in my eyes, but is there an alternative I've missed? Unquestionably they're a disaster, but let us not pretend we go around sorting out messes where people are dying, because it's the right thing to do. We let Russia invade two countries of late, we leave the North Koreans to allow thousands to starve, we just did a huge arms deal with the Saudis (anyone remember where Osama was from?) who perpetuate the crisis in Yemen, there's Israel and Palestine - none of these seem to bother us enough to go over and 'sort it out'. When you look at the way many Western countries have formed, there's been civil wars and people killing one another, it's bloody and horrible, eventually someone won. Some places ceased to exist. They didn't have a democracy parcel air dropped in from NATO strapped to a bomb. People need to sort it out for themselves. If these lunatics were the type of organisation where there was a definite head we could cut off (like Hitler and Geoballs and Georing and Bormann) it'd be worth trying to get to them and kill them. But It's not, the factions are independent, the only way to "kill" it is for the young men they attract to stop looking to become recruits. Locking people up and bombing them simply doesn't do that, in fact it just breads more. Has anything stopped since they killed Bin Laden?

Congratulations are in order. They'll be dancing on the street of Knuckle Dragger tonight as their team clinches the title. Kudos to Transit Van Gaal, best team name award 2016/17 -
Perhaps, in about another 30 years or so, we'll figure out you can't murder people and not expect them to retaliate. It took us longer than that with the IRA, hopefully we learned something, but I doubt it. Weirdly blowing them up more just seems to make them madder. No amount of checking people's browser history or rounding up thought criminals is going to change that. Using an atrocity as an excuse to start attacking swathes of people indiscriminately is the kind of mindless response that got us here in the first place. Prior to The Modern Crusades under Blair and Bush (another brilliant expression of the "I'm angry, who can we kill? policy) did ISIS even exist? What bombings had occurred in the U.K. pre 9/11?

In! Cool as ****! Please make sure you document all the detail for plagiarists -
I'll have a go. There are certain things that the people should get for free as part of living in and paying for a developed country, education & healthcare are the top two. These are the hallmarks of being developed. Whether you earn peanuts or millions, access to these services should be a right. Beyond that, from a purely economic perspective, if you've paid in (which you will have if you're bequeathing in excess of 100k) you've already paid for these things up front in PAYE, NI, VAT, etc all your life. In fact, you'll have paid in the most if you are well off (PAYE) and the likelihood of spending more (VAT), not to mention all the myriad other taxes. It's often mention that there's no money for these things, yet the UK comfortably services debts, credit rating in tact. We comfortably rustle up billions whenever we want for projects that benefit a few (mainly party donor's shareholders). The country doesn't need to make money, it's simply is not a business. To give this some historical context, look at what happened when the country had the windfall of 80s oil money, we were making the golden ticket of a profit (by accident, not by austerity, I might add). Did we save it for a rainy day? No. Thatcher gave the profits away in tax breaks. Other countries, like Norway, took it and invested it to pay for, yep you've guessed it, old age! What a **** idea that was They can't have it both ways, bleating there's no money for care but there is money for tax breaks. It's just a lie.
