  1. Summary dismissal, for what isn't a hugely offensive comment, seems over the top to me, HOWEVER it's important to check their behaviour guidelines. If it clearly states this is the standard punishment for all breaches of electronic media policy, it's going to be tough to fight. She also needs to ensure they've stuck rigidly to disciplinary process. So many places don't when some banana goes on a power trip. Simple things, like not having been offered a representative during any disciplinary meetings, would be enough to get the case reviewed if she wants to fight it.
  2. An amusing quote I heard on the news was of an eyewitness to this, saying, "What they need like, is proper organised queues n that for these big sales and security like". Er no. What we need is for everyone to behave like decent human beings, all the time. This is not disaster victims fighting each other for a bag of grain, it's money off a @*!# brand flat screen. "That telly the bloke's got over there has £50 off, quick, bash his crust in. Check his wallet whilst he's out cod too."
  3. Back open for business.
  4. I heard about an escort service Amsterdam called Black Friday...
  5. Welcome and awesome commitment to find "the one" but
  6. Yup. Didn't think apple would be that impressive. Thought they'd be more generous with their older stuff. Only got an iPad as I was getting it for a Christmas present anyway, why not save a small £31 lol. Makes perfect sense. I wanted to be seduced my an offer, not happened... Yet.
  7. I was all set to be fluffed by apple store deals, then I totally lost my wood by a paltry £81 off a £2k MacBook Pro. Whoop dee doo. Not
  8. Not everyone, I didn't enjoy them, neither did the roundabouts on my commute. I do very much enjoy my MPSS
  9. Fair point, who'd employ someone who rolls over on a matter of principle like this.
  10. Where's the button for "love this approach"?
  11. Seems expensive
  12. FWIW I found that grease applied liberally here achieved a result From this one of the many guides http://m.my350z.com/forum/showthread.php?t=428639 This has made the noise stop for me, but as it's off you may as well get the splines greasy too. Some have reported the clicking returning, but IMHO I think that's down to your choice of grease. I used this stuff and have had a few thousand click free miles since. http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00DEWYJYO/ref=pe_385721_37038051_pe_217191_31005151_3p_M3T1_dp_1 You won't need it all, but for £7, who cares. For the costs involved, I would definitely try this before you commit to anything else your tech suggests.good luck.
  13. Amazeballs is like sooooo 2012, I'm predicting 2014 will be the year of awesomenutz.
  14. I'm not convinced by her wash technique. Work one panel at a time and don't leave so many suds on other areas, if they start to evaporate it'll leave a gash finish.
  15. Yay. I'm a Blackpool Zed, don't see many round here and the last couple have been non-wavers. Boo. Get a photo down by the world's biggest disco ball at the bottom of the prom (towards St Annes). It looks like your being chased by the Death Star, if it was designed by Gok Wan. If you can get a good one near the tower fully lit up, it could be a calendar entry for 2014
  16. I have no problems round town, but it's not city driving I do personally, some brakes can be a bit squeaky at low speed and rear visibility when parking is limited I find. Reverse cam sorted that MPG isn't great round town but I didn't buy her for the fuel savings!
  17. I'm a brand snob, so I'd go Sony. But I wouldn't, I'd actually go Pioneer. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Pioneer-AVH-X2500BT-Tuner-inch-Touchscreen/dp/B00AAXRSRA
  18. Try SGS engineering. Plenty of us have bought theirs. http://www.sgs-engineering.com/gas-struts/car-boot-tailgate/nissan/350z?gclid=CIy82978gbsCFWzItAodUHAAJg Edit: There's always someone with a faster trigger finger
  19. I got schooled on my first track day in the Zed by a 172, albeit driven by some chap with race experience and I'm a novice. It seemed very sure in the rain compared to my twitchy rear. I was just glad there were a couple of straights at Croft where I could claw a bit back. The DB9 in front was much less keen to yield to the Clio than I was.
  20. Are they proprietary?
  21. Welcome along and have a look here http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/22880-guide-for-new-memberspotential-buyers/ and possibly here too http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/18-350z-faq/ Searches for "clicky axles", "boot pop", "what petrol do you use?" , will provide some reading too. Good luck with your search, with that budget you should get something quite stunning.
  22. I have OEM discs, DS2500, RBF fluid and HEL lines. Coped nicely on track, though it was a wet day so temps probably kept low.
  23. I have a Horsham which I bought for a bit of colour in the bay, but I noticed it's smoothed my idle, and also rev fall when coming off the gas.
  24. What products? Nice bead.
  25. Will you lift the watermarks off?
