Sanded back and dropped them by paint shop, they advise to go to local powder coaster and get that done instead. Not got round to it yet. Plenty of folk DIY them.

Definitely back up your data if you use a SMD IIRC there was an SMD Z Edition which, although old technology, was quick and reliable. Since the SMD J Edition it's slowed down a bit and only comes in beige.

The single seater tickles my fancy from my karting days, but I think my mates will be more supercar. Might have to do that one if I can't talk them into it

When you do the change, when my coolant was changed it took a few miles drive to work the air locks out. I just had to keep an eye on the overflow tank for a few days and top it up once.
